I have expectations based on previous visits to other locations of this chain. Usually they aren't too high as I have had some bad experiences. Today's visit was not negative at all. We visit coney islands for usually one reason: coneys! My son and I both ordered the two coneys and fries. Waters to drink as we don't drink much pop and there isn't much else in other options. Food came out in a reasonable time and was hot and fresh. Fries were crispy and golden. Overall, I was happy with our visit. Was everything perfect? No, but I'm not going to get too granular here. It's basically a chili dog with onions and mustard. It originated in Detroit in the early 1900s. I add ketchup to mine and it's so good. I also love their root beer float. It's vanilla ice cream with their fresh root beer. The service was on point. I had a lot of ice cream left in my cup, but drank all of the root beer.
