So when my friend told me there was a new burger joint near her work that I might enjoy I responded with one word: "IN!!!!" What's even more surprising is that she is a vegetarian, so I was colored extra intrigued. Of course being the greatest detective since a refined gentleman who wore a deerstalker, smoked a pipe and lived at 221B Baker St, I deduced that this location had some sort of veggie burger. it was interesting to see that they actually had a couple. One of the traditional style veggie patty, a beyond burger, and then a vegan beyond burger. If you are a true omnivore, they have a burger that has both a veggie patty and an angus patty and perfectly named the conflict burger. We did not have this one. So back to the story at hand. I order the BurgerFi Cheeseburger and she did end up ordering the Beyond Burger. I have to say, both were very well made. There is nothing fancy about either sandwich, except for the BurgerFi sauce which is nice and adds flavor to an already tasty burger. They angus beef is perfectly cooked and all the condiments are crisp and fresh. Based on Ms. Skinny Jeans finishing her entire burger, I once again used my brilliant detective skills to deduce that she enjoyed the burger. As a bonus we split onion rings and a milkshake, both were absolutely wonderful and enough for us to split and not feel like we didn't get enough. Menu offers appetizers, salads, a variety of burgers, sushi, dessert and some other yummy delights. We came here for the first time around when it opened. I cannot remember how long ago it was. Maybe five to ten years ago? What ever it was, my kids were a lot younger. It was good, but not memorable. Since then, I have seen more media highlighting this brand. I have even seen Shake Shack vs Burgerfi on YouTube. Now, for me Shake Shack is one of my favorites, so I am not quite going to compare the two, since they are not competing for me, I would go to either depending on what I want. In my opinion, the burgers reminded me of Shake Shack, but the fries had more of a Five Guys vibe, more of a Boardwalk carnival fry experience. While we are still living through pandemic times, we are able to dine inside during our visit. the colors and look do resemble Shake Shack, wood and shades of green. The employees very very kind and seem exceptionally helpful and accommodating. I ordered the conflicted burger, their Angus meat and veggie burger. I added pickles and mayo. It was very delicious. I liked the flavor combination. It was nice and big, so I only finished half. They also offer Beyond Burgers, which are my favorite brand veggie burgers, but I enjoyed their version a lot, I would order either. One child had the chicken strips, not sure how they tasted. The other ordered a bacon cheeseburger with BBQ sauce, that one was very good. We also ordered the urban fries. They were amazing, plenty of toppings, just the right amount. Worth the small up charge! They also have two other versions of toppings for the fries, including a truffle fry. They have a huge selection of sauces you can order on the side. We asked for ranch and bacon ranch. I am not even sure which ones we got, but whatever it was, it was good. I also had their cheese sauce. I am not sure what kind of cheese it was, but very good with the fries. The aioli garlic mayo on the fries was delicious too. While they were kind to list off the sauces, it would have helped me to see the list on the menu posted above the register to order. I would like to try more next time. They also have all natural ketchup, which was very good. They sell some good beer on tap. I had the Arbor Strawberry Blonde, a seasonal classic, so good, great strawberry flavor. I do enjoy a fast food restaurant they has adult libations. Good but small selection, and some fun can offerings. They have a couple freestyle coke machines, which I like. The dessert here was absolutely worth it! They have fun flavored shakes. We tried the mocha coffee and the strawberry. They have really delectable concretes! I tried the key lime pie version, so tart and so good! They were really well priced and the perfect size! I would come here for dessert alone! Needless to say I would come here again! Located in a large upper middle class stripmall complex. They have a patio area outside. My first time in a Burger Fi, I was hoping it would be good. The staff ignored me while they delivered food to all the women with clouds of children. I was going to walk out, but stayed. When they finally greeted me and offered to take my order I joked my cloaking device had turned off. They made an ugly face. They give you your beer and give you a tracker to take to your table. There weren't any clean tables. I wiped my own off. They don't clean the beer lines, that was obvious with my fat tire. The burger meat is very fatty and the toppings are runny. The food here is really good when they make it how it is ordered in the app. Two out of the three times I have ordered takeout, it is wrong once I get home. Today I ordered a junior cheese burger (one burger patty) with diced onions and a side of truffle fries. My burger was a double with no cheese and no onions, just a piece of lettuce and two burger patties, and it had a side of Parmesan fries with no truffle aioli. I can't tell if they really messed up my order or stapled my order receipt to someone else's and gave me that. My correct order was stapled to the bag, which contained the wrong food. They weren't busy when I arrived or I would have been more understanding. This is the second time I have gotten a completely different order upon pickup, so there is a disconnect between the online ordering process and what the kitchen makes or how they are fulfilling the order. I wanted to try this place after reading about how it compares to other fast casual burger places like Five Guys and Shakeshack. I was immediately hooked by the Breakfast All Day burger -bacon, cheese, fries egg, hash brown and maple syrup. The burger was incredible! I would have added a little more maple syrup and made the egg a little runnier, but the bacon was excellent and the hash brown was perfectly fried. I've heard of BurgerFi before, and have been wanting to try it for some time. I was on my way to Eastern for school and was dying of hunger. Having no interest in dealing with the Ann Arbor crowd, this came up on my radar. Walking in, I saw that it was a nicer burger place with plenty of healthy options. Not your typical burger joint! Prices vary, and some of the burgers are upwards of $10, but it's the better beef. I went with the regular, single burgerfi, with onion rings and a beverage. Total bill? $14.50 something. When the food came out, the onion rings were huge! I couldn't finish them all. They were good, but different. I had to ask for sauce, which came separately to dip the rings into. Burger was actually really really good, and went quickly. Service was good overall. My only thought would be more meal deals instead of everything a la carte. When you put the meal all together, on average, it's about $15 to $20 a person depending on what you get. For a fast casual diner, I think they could offer a few combos to make it easier and allow me to eat here more often. I can get away with a single burger and a smaller side of fries or onion rings because that's the appetite size that I have. But, I know some folks could do a double with a larger side and that's a bit expensive. The beef is legit and fresh, so I get the prices on the meat part. But, maybe combo prices on a small side and drink would help. If you are interested I would recommend checking this place out. The burgers themselves are delicious regardless, and comparable to some of the better places in town. If it wasn't so far, I would go more often. read more

Sigh. . .we've come here before. Last time, because if all the Covid idiocy, we had to order online and pickup. Which actually, they have a good system for that. You can customize your burger fairly easily with their online ordering. So we decided to do it again. We were running errands so we ordered with a pickup time an hour away. She ordered a bacon cheeseburger with basically everything plus jalapeños. Me, the Burger-Fi burger with lettuce, tomato, bacon, grilled mushrooms and Swiss. I love me a good bacon Mushroom and Swiss burger. And we got a large parmesan and herb fries to shate. We arrived about 5 minutes before our pickup time. Was told they were working on it. Awesome! That means it'll be good and fresh! I have never been more wrong. We waited 15 minutes before getting our order which was placed an hour and 10 minutes before it was handed to me. We went home, (and we only live 5 minutes away) got all happy for our burgers, and guess what, this food had been sitting around for a while. The fries were cold and almost gelatinous, her burger was pink, and mine was cold, overcooked, the mushrooms were not grilled, they were straight out of the can, and to beat all, NO BACON!!! I hate to say it but during these times, a place should be focusing on quality because business is sketchy at best. And for us, those that perform this way won't be getting a return visit. read more

In my neighborhood, we are fortunate to have a number of places for a quick bite. Among those are several choices for burgers, including BurgerFi. After countless visits over the past year, I've come to count on the consistently great, well-seasoned, thick and meaty burgers, topped with fresh vegetables, cheeses, and bacon. I think I've tried all the different burgers, including some of the rotating specials. Even though these burgers are already quite indulgent, I always pair it with the Cry and Fry, deliciously large onion rings and an overabundance of crispy and tender fries. The serving is outrageously large, truly enough to feed two or three. The frozen custard treats and concretes always look yummy; there is generally a line-up for them throughout the year. What should also be noted is the dependably fantastic customer service. The counter people are almost always cheerful. The store manager goes above and beyond to make guests feel genuinely welcomed, effusively engaging with each and every one of us. The burgers and service here are as good as it gets! I have tried most of the menu. My particular favorites are the CEO (don't let the thought of tomato jam scare you) and the onion rings. The burger is on point, perfectly cooked and dressed with a traditional flavor -- without red ketchup and American mustard. The flavor is rich, decadent, definitely a treat. These are my favorite onion rings, thick, fresh cuts of onion, beautifully battered and fried. These aren't falling apart, overly greasy, or floppy skinny things. They are the real deal! Order at the counter, and the staff will bring your order out or call you up with a paging device. What a great decision, I had a regular plain all beef hotdog and hubby had a burger, his way. It was made to his liking and the fries were made from Real potatoes, not the frozen fries in a bag. My love affair with this place began when they hosted an Elite Yelp event. I was so impressed with the owner who was so gracious to our group. The food was fantastic, the staff beyond helpful and the restaurant immaculate. What is even more impressive is that is how they treat all of their guests. My favorites are the veggifi burger, onion rings, and anything made with that great custard!! The fries are handmade, the kind with the skin left on them.
