Service is a major 1star. Arrived around 6:30pm after a rush from a filled seating area. We managed to find a table empty and sat down. First time eating here today. Ordered nachos without meat(asked what meat we wanted without first asking for any)... then we ordered drinks. Told the waitress I wanted a miller lite. She responded with a "Long Island" I agreed and didn't make a scene as my friend woman choose this place to eat. The menu looks good. However I went for a normal pub burger with fries and my gf went with the sliders. The burger. Great. Girlfriends sliders. Good. Nachos? Major L. Pathetic. Maybe that's why she asked which meat we wanted on it... Overall. Not a bad bar. I got tipsy off my one Long Island. However, for dinner. Just go to Applebees, they microwave food quicker than they manage to get wrap on their kitchen orders. read more

Great place my sister recommended! Let it be known the pizza is too much food for two people to take on haha. Makes for great leftovers but could easily split with 3-4 for more help. We did a DIY with green peppers and onion so don't let my preference of a lack of topping deter you it was great. PLEASE get the ranch it was so thick. there were maybe 3 other parties there and great service. Even some pull tabs if you need to kill time and money. The four stars is just from preference of the fountain tea being off and maybe the pizza a little tooooo much cheese (which sounds illegal to say how can that be coming out of my thought) read more

Vulgar rap music blaring and I mean vulgar in an Irish pub what ? We have Blake's cider great can I get one, here's your angry orchard. Went for lunch but noticed the floor as soon as I walked in no thanks. We had been there years ago and totally different experience. I would like to say maybe it was just the staff that afternoon, but the floors say it was multiple shifts. Was not expecting it to be that bad. If looking for an Irish pub this is nothing close to one anymore. Honestly hope they can turn it around. read more

Fun place to sit at the bar and grab a drink and burger and maybe catch a game on the TV overhead. If Jackie's working the bar, she'll make you feel like she's known you forever even if, like us, you've just met. The rest of the staff is just as friendly and engaging. There's a full bar, a couple of beers on tap and a case full of hard ciders, canned and bottled beer. O'yeah, this is an Irish establishment and the menu features some interesting options with corned beef such as fried Rueben Rolls (sauerkraut, corned beef and Swiss cheese in a wonton shell), Rueben sandwiches, and Corned Beef Sliders. Also plenty of the usual American favs like burgers and pizza. There are nightly specials: $3 margaritas and $2 Coronas on Tuesdays, $4 wine on Wednesdays, $5 Long Island Ice Tea on Fridays-plenty of reasons to return night after night. Weather permitting there is plenty of outdoor seating. The burgers were thick and served with an generous side of hot and crispy steak fries. Those guys in the kitchen know what they are doing! Jackie mixed us a couple of tasty sangrias and served them up with just the right amount of sass and teasing to add to our fun and make us feel right at home! read more

I could probably condense this review to 3 words: best reuben around. When I came for lunch I figured on ordering a grilled chicken sandwich, which is one of my go-tos for a bar-and-grill meal. Was surprised not to see one on the menu, but the notice that Egan's corned beef was slow-cooked in house caught my eye. I love a good reuben so went with one. It was fantastic. Heavily topped with succulent corned beef and still-crisp kraut. Thousand Island on the side so you can make it as creamy as you care to. And big. Fries on the side were thick cut and very nicely done. Let's just say I didn't leave hungry. Was a little surprised to see few craft beers on tap. I ordered a pint of Fat Tire, but after I got it I noticed there were some excellent craft selections in cans in the cooler behind the bar. Seems like a great little cozy pub to retreat to for refueling and relaxing. read more

Have been there several times in the past & the food & service were very good. Went there yesterday for lunch & it was terrible. This place looks like it's on it's last legs. Bar looked very dirty. My wife ordered the Reuben & I had the special which was Shepherd's Pie. When our food came, the reuben was poorly made. Very little meat on one half & almost all the meat on the other half. My wife had to remake the sandwich. My Shepherd's Pie looked like last weeks leftovers. It definately wasn't made fresh. It was also served cold. It had to be reheated in the microwave. It also had a very bland taste. With the prices they charge, I really felt totally ripped off. We won't be back. read more

I really have nothing bad to say about Egan's. I'm just not crazy about the overall cleanliness of the place, but the service is never bad and their food looks good! The drinks are affordable and some of the bartenders are friendly. I do wish they had more weekly specials since they're in such a convenient location for the folks in the area! read more

Look at the fans in the ceiling they have an inch of dirt and dust on them, and the air conditioner leaks over the table. The food is good and drinks are great just needs to be cleaned up 3 star read more

Not a bad place to come for drinks and a quick dinner. The corned beef sandwich was delicious but the only thing was it was just a bit salty but still delicious. The pretzel bites with the beer cheese are great as well!! Wings are pretty standard just like any other wing place! I'll definitely be back!! read more

I came here for dinner in mid-July on a Monday when they had just opened the outdoor patio during the pandemic. The waitstaff was hustling to make sure everyone was happy. A DJ was playing some music but not so loudly that you couldn't hear the people in your party. So for outside dining experience and waitstaff, I'd go 5 stars. The food though was just so-so; nothing bad, but nothing great or special. I asked the waitress what was good. She noted pizza as a popular favorite and said she really likes the Corned Beef Sliders. So I got the sliders, and they were fine. I upgraded to onion rings which were nicely sliced (not super thick). The batter held up well and the onions were crisp (i.e. you could bite through them without pulling the entire onion out of the batter), but they were rather greasy. If I'm in the area, I may try them again. read more

No. Too loud which some may like and the drinks and food are mediocre, but to be fair its bar food. The worst is the layout. All the seating is longways but u have to go there to understand why. If you are a local I could see the appeal though. Don't count it completely out. read more

Great place to have a drink, but can be uninviting depending on who is behind the bar , or what mood she is in.

Me and my friend came here last minute. On a Tuesday night. We wanted to go to bayou grille but they stopped serving food! We ended up here! The reviews said the food was good! I ordered the turkey melt w/bacon and pepper jack cheese. Instead of the fries I ordered their onion rings! Which were fire! It was really good! I also ordered a sangria which was $6 which wasn't bad at all. My friend ordered the blackbean burger she said it was good! They have a juke box where you can put in money to play a specific song you want to hear. The bartender waiting on us was named Inez! He was super nice as well as one of the waitresses named Becky! Their was also a couple on a date. They seemed friendly as well. They told us not to go back to the bayou because their boring lol. I will definitely be returning! read more

Food was good and service was great! Didn't have to wait long and the atmosphere was nice!

Lets be honest, this is a 2-3 star place. But, it's my hometown watering hole and a place I've been more than anywhere else in town so, I'm gonna round up and add an extra star for it being my home base. The menu is small and most of the choices are clearly frozen or otherwise pre-prepared. Not that there is anything wrong with that, some of my favorite foods are deep fried and come in a basket. Just don't roll up here expecting some haute cuisine. The service isn't anything special unless you are a friend, relative or otherwise cliqued up with the owners, servers or BYC. Expect to have to ask for water, wait for beers and for them to forget your ranch unless they know you - then prepare to be doted on. I have lived in this town long enough to remember when this place was nothing, China King, the Thai place and nothing again so while it might only loosely be an "Irish Pub", I'd rather go here then all of the other crap holes in this 4 light redneck Riviera. Bottom line - the place is pretty clean, the beers are cold and the food is cheap. Keep your expectations in line and you won't be disappointed. Unless you are a dick - then you will probably be disappointed. read more

We go to Egan's every time we are in Belleville. It's a great little Irish Pub with some really unique dishes. The Celtic Sticks are the best!! It's like a wonton crossed with a Reuben. So good!!! The Irish Nachos were pretty awesome too. Order them with a side of thousand island dressing. Only thing that would make it better is if they had Killians on tap! read more

The only time I had come to check the restaurant out was on a suggestion from an out-of-state family member. The food and drinks were great, despite my lack of remembering what I ordered for food other than the Irish nachos. The Irish nachos were delicious as expected, and I should make a better effort to go back more often than just going to regular familiar haunts. Kudos to the staff and cooks and all that work there to make an impression on people like me who are usually critical of the first-time eating experiences or long-time eating experiences. read more

Went here for a family dinner, probably should've realized that bars are very loud, but that was our mistake. The food was great & our waitress was super attentive and helpful, especially considering we were a party of 7. I got the black bean burger & it was amazing. I was half expecting to get a pre-made frozen & reheated burger, since that's usually the only veggie burger option that local bars have, but it was a freshly made burger, and it was probably one of the best ones that I've had. read more

Worst burger I have ever been served I ordered it rare and it came it was cooked till it was dry and crumbled. I told the waitress and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Great local spot. So close to our home we can call in our order, pick it up, get it home and enjoy with no mistakes including four burger temps, all nailed perfectly. Our last order was a Black & Blue, Bacon Burger, and two Mushroom Burgers. Future orders (or advice if you will) get the lettuce and tomatoes on the side so they are crispy when get them home. I went there after work yesterday 12/29 with work people . Having a good time . We notice the waitress was waiting for us to cash out , so we asked her and we all cashed out and tipped very well . Then it was just the bartender SHELLY , with a shitty attitude , because I asked commented on my buddies pizza crust was very burnt . She said some pepole like it like that . Yeah okay they do he don't and was just being nice and ate it . she continued to be very rude and unprofessional, trying not to wait on us. Finally get her attention and ask for a shot and a beer and a water. If she goes to get it she's talking shit about what I ordered and about me to the waitress. That's now sitting there drinking. I've never experienced a bartender or server that rude for no good reason at that because I ordered drinks or commented on a pizza that was burnt. I wouldn't eat the pizza. I would've returned it and not even ordered another one. I will never go there again. I've never seen such unprofessional rudeness and disrespect in my life of course I told her I didn't want anything and we were getting ready to leave as the fat cook comes out being rude AF anD TELLING us leave unreal !! read more

This is a tough one. This is great food versus terrible service. Came here on a recommendation and while I have been in this area a few times, I had never seen or heard of this place until recently. They have about 6 beers on tap and drink specials (on this day it was a $5 Long Island, which was great tasting to me, not strong, but just right). As for my food, I started with a order of their hot n spicy wings and they are excellent and on point and a must try (they only have 2 sauces and the wings come in 10 or 20). For my meal I went with the Reuben with the steak fries. The sandwich isn't huge but it is a good size and probably the best Reuben I done at least had in the area (the steak fries are good not great). Now with all this said, this should be it, but the service was not good. The guy/bartender serving us had a bad attitude towards us for whatever reason (but was happy, cheerful, and talkative towards everyone else), was dry, disrespondant, rudely handing us stuff or answering questions. The lady that brought out the food was nice n sweet, but he was a complete jerk and when somebody in my party called him out on it, he just said "he had other stuff on his mind", turned his back and continue to chuckle it up with everyone else (even the group next to us notice how rude he was). Overall this really should be a 4.5-5 star review, but the service brought it down (really a 3.5 star but we will roll with 4). read more

I had a person close to me move out to Belleville. In an attempt to find some good restaurants out that way, I did my usual cross referencing of Google and Yelp to find that this place was one of the highest rated places in the area. It had to be good right? I don't know if standards are set lower in Belleville, but the whole experience was extremely underwhelming. When we first sat down, we noticed the table was very sticky to the point where our arms and hands felt like they were stuck on a movie theater floor. We wiped it down a little ourselves and that did the trick. We started with the Jack sticks, monteray jack cheese sticks "breaded and fried" with a side of honey mustard. As soon as we received the order, the immediate impression was that these things looked like an item purchased on the frozen food section and thrown into a microwave. The side dressing was good, but the food itself was lackluster, this would be the theme for the meal. We weren't terribly hungry so we split the special: Sheperd's Pie. When this was brought out it looked like it was something thrown together and microwaved, it tasted like that too. The meat tasted like canned chili, the potatoes tasted instant, and it just was in general bland and unseasoned. That being said, the burgers did look good and I am sure they have some items that are good an unique (I was very tempted to try the celtic sticks). I have a feeling this place is more well known for their burgers. We ended up getting 2 tall domestic drafts (big mugs with advertisements for local businesses printed on them, classy), an order of jack sticks, and shared the sheperds pie. The total was $30. I felt like I paid $30 for something we could have gone to meijer and bought in the frozen food aisle and a couple beers. read more

Very disappointing. We hadn't been here in about a year. Wife and I stopped in for dinner. Ordered Vodka and diet and appetizer. Drink came and it was not Vodka and diet. Sent it back and got another that was in fact Vodka and diet. After finishing appetizer ordered another Vodka and diet and once again it was something else. At this point we decided we were done. Waitress said she would'nt take the drink off the bill because she "watched the bartender (manager) pour it". So we asked to talk to the manager (bartender) who rudely told us that all three drinks were the same. I don't appreciate being insulted. She ended up only charging us for the one drink and appetizer and we left. We went next door and had incredible service and dinner at the Bayou Grill. By the way this is the first review I've ever given on Yelp. read more
