We take long road trips and we are usually on the road on the 4th of July. No difference this year. Our routine is to check in, get our room, and start calling to see who is open for a meal. Usually, choices are slim, mostly fast food. Today we were lucky, Eternity Brewking was open until 6 p.m. I dropped the idea of doing yoga and we got our butts to the place since it was 5 p.m. We kike it a lot. Service was excellent, Kylie (?) was fantastic, friendly, funny, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. She was great with all the customers. The space is open, simple, and comfortable promoting a welcoming atmosphere. Few items on the menu, are simple, and tasty. I had grilled cheese with one of the best tomato soups I had in a long time, great combo. Plenty of gooey yummy cheese and toasted crispy bread I washed that down with a flight of very interesting beers. The one that took me by surprise is When Life Gives You Blueberries. Deceiving and sneaky. My nose thought I was going to drink wine and my taste buds were surprised with the tart-sour taste nothing like a beer. My husband had the chili dog and enjoyed it very much. Another amazing dinner at Eternity Brewing! The waitstaff was very attentive to our needs. The beers and ciders here are excellent. Tonight I tried the 3 Mon Blonde and Cheat Code - both had good flavor. My wife had the Apple Pie Cider - it was nice and light. She enjoyed it. The food was excellent as well. I tried the 3 tacos and a side of chili. The taco had meat, onion and sauce - with a little kick. The chili has minimal beans, lots and meat and tons of flavor - so good! The grilled cheese had a good cheese pull and the bread was nice and crisp. The beer cheese soup was nice and thick. Everything tasted amazing! The music was a little loud, but it was manageable. Eternity Brewing is a little bit of a hike for us, but we always have a great time here! read more

I was visiting the area for work and stopped at Eternity Brewing for dinner. It was trivia night, so several tables were reserved, so I sat at the bar. It is very nice and clean and looks like your typical brewery that has found a home in a strip mall. I was greeted by one of the bartenders and asked for a water. He disappeared. The other bartender stopped by a few minutes later and asked if I had been taken care of. She poured me some water and poured my flight. The sour beers were fantastic!! I ordered the pulled pork with chips. The chips were great, the bun was super fresh, the bbq sauce was the best part of the sandwich, but the pulled pork was a bit dry. No problem tho. It was a good meal. If I'm ever in the area, I'll stop in again! read more

While running an errand here earlier in the week, I stopped in to try a beer. Got a pint of the Bonaparte saison, which was a bit more like a hefeweizen than saisons I've had, but still was very tasty. Decided it would be worth a return for dinner on Saturday night. My wife and I ordered a flight of four beers when we got there on Saturday, Strange imperial IPA, Tell my Ryes stout, Torn in Two IPA, and GOAT wheat wine. All were good, with the stout and imperial IPA being the standout. Ended up trying a pint of Level Up IPA for dinner, which was also very nice. The beer game here is on point. We split a plate of the pulled pork nachos, which we liked--plenty of food for two. The pork was excellent and I'd like to go back to try the sandwich version. Service was attentive from the moment we walked in. The only real downside of the night was the band that started at 7:00. This is not a knock on the band itself. They played a wide range of covers and sounded good. But it was loud and there isn't much room in Eternity to get away from the noise. 7:00 seems a little early for entertainment to start, but I suppose that's what works for Eternity. They play until 10:00 every Saturday, so when we return, we'll make a point of going another night. read more

Cheyenne was a great server but their flatbread is unreal along with the in-house brewed, American light logger. Yes that was probably a run-on sentence. Eternity Brewing is a shining star in today's messy mix of craft brewers. Seriously, the first brewery I've been to in a long time where I could taste the quality and feel like it was more special than the rest. These folks are making VERY good beer! All the beer I sampled was outstanding. My favorite is "Hoors Light" - oh, my such a delightful surprise of fantastic beer flavor! We were hoping for a Bloody Mary but they only had beer. The beers we got were outstanding. We chose a small bowl of chili and pork nachos. My husband picked the nachos and I didn't realize they drizzled bbq sauce. That I did not like but other than that they were great. I read great reviews and we were in town for a gymnastics meet so I thought we would stop here for dinner. The server was visibly stressed. He was literally sweating. I have no idea why he's a server. I've been a server. It isn't that difficult. We were a large party of 12 but pretty chill and easy to wait on. The server took ages to get our beer order. I then had to ask if we could order dinner. I asked 2 different servers for water FIVE TIMES. I never received a glass of water. Worst service ever. Mediocre food. One family left and ate elsewhere. The service the last few months has gotten worse and worse. I corrected a tab that showed 3 beers down to 2 and was told "I know you had 3 but I'll correct it". The waitress was only at the table twice in two hours so it wouldn't have been possible to get more than 2 unless multiple were ordered. On another occasion it took 45 minutes to get the tab, and when I asked for the tab a 2nd time after 30 minutes passed I was called rude. The feta bread was missing ingredients present in the description and the cheese on my husband's nachos was questionable. The menu plays like a fully functioning restaurant but be prepared that it's just pub food which is important for customers to know. They also have a variety of beers, something pleasing for everyone (their famous Hoors Light, Porters, Stouts, German Style, Sours and a variety of IPA's etc.) They generally offer 15-20 beers on tap. For the non-beer drinkers, they offer wine, hard cider, Faygo pop and Hop Water. They have really stepped up their menu!! Lots of shareables, several salads, burgers including a black bean burger, ahi tuna dishes, incredible flat breads, variety of meat sandwiches, tacos, nachos etc. Something for everyone, meat dishes, vegetarian/vegan etc. What's special about this brewery... it's the laid back, "Cheers" kind of atmosphere. We have been going to Eternity since it first opened under Dana and Mike. We have been loyal customers. The last three times we have visited have been very disappointing. The service has been poor and it takes 10 minutes to get a beer. Today we were acknowledged by the manager when we walked in and then were ignored by him and the servers for several minutes while we watched them standing around or helping others who walked in after us. Had a great first visit to Eternity! They have a large beer list that is creative, surprising, and delicious! I had a sampler and loved all four of my choices. The bartender was knowledgeable and great to chat with. They seem to already have a solid group of regulars that the bartender recognized as a part of their mug club. She made me feel welcome and informed me of upcoming fun events. Ben & Jerry beer & ice cream pairing, Brushes & Brews, and trivia night we just a few that were happening more recently. On trivia night (Wednesday) they have a food vendor come in, which is great because typically, they just sell bar snacks. Also, important to note for all you GF peeps out there - they have an excellent GF beer! Not just with the gluten removed, but actually GF from start to finish. Give it a try, even if you are a gluten lover - it's delicious! They have growlers as well as growlettes for purchase, which seem to be pretty popular. I can definitely see myself stopping to grab one of those to take home with me! So many great things going on at EB! I wear many hats when it comes to enjoying beer. For the most part I favor IPAs, stouts and some with subtle fruity flavor. They made a 4-star Untappd fan out of me with their Strawberries n Cream Ale, Teeko Coffee Stout and Noble Throne Imperial Stout aside from that, everything else was enjoyable but nothing amazing or different. The atmosphere was kind of weird in there...I felt as if I should've been getting served a latte as opposed to beer. (Come to think of it, maybe that's why I liked the Teeko so much?) The music was a mix of smooth instrumental, lite rock, and some other music that sounded like it was from middle earth/the hobbit soundtrack or something. Give it a try and see for yourself! Came here for my birthday with my husband this evening. Our server, Molly, was so helpful and sweet. We ordered the Bavarian pretzel and smokehouse nacho appetizers, both of which were excellent. Just left Eternity after another experience where we sat and waited while watching the employees take care of people who walked in after us. We've been going to Eternity since the first day it opened and for years referred to it as "our brewpub" because of the great beers and friendly service. We were always greeted warmly and enjoyed the time with Brittany (sp?) or Tim but more often than not when they aren't there, it seems we are left sitting and waiting for someone to ask us what we would like. This place is one of my favorite breweries in Michigan. The ambiance is casual, there are always some good conversations going on, and during the day there are no problems with bringing your kids for some soda in the summer and hot chocolate in the winter. The beer that is brewed here is excellent. Their list includes something for everyone, from stouts and imperial blacks to IPAs and lagers and pale ales. This is a bring or have delivered your own food, although they do have chips and salsa, soft pretzels, popcorn, and ice cream bars. They have board games to play with, trivia every Wednesday, cornhole ready to play outside, and a great staff that know their beer inside and out. I'm all about that beer, 'bout that beer, 'bout that beer...Corny, but that's what I feel like singing when I think of this place! Eternity is definitely all about the beer. So much so, they don't even mess with food! I don't really blame them, though a few more apps on the menu would be nice. Regardless, bring your own if you'd like, or order from a local spot. It's a very chill, almost European style atmosphere with a few big TVs, a big ole chalkboard listing what's on tap, and some very friendly and chatty servers. But back to the beer...Seriously. So.Good. We've been a few times, and I honestly have loved everything on tap. The coffee stout is my absolute favorite. It combines my two favorite things ever {beer and coffee-duh} effortlessly. When it's back in season, I highly would recommend the pumpkin pie porter as well. Probably one of the best pumpkin beers I've ever tasted...and I've tasted a lot. My husband dreams about their Torn in Two IPA so much that I'm thinking I'm going to start getting him a growler full for each birthday. Moral here: Definitely get a flight so you can figure out which is your favorite. It's a tough choice! I love that this place is run by a young entrepreneur couple. From chatting with them, I can see they are some intelligent peeps just trying to bring their passion for brewing to the community -- something we had been severely lacking until they came along.
