    BLT Pizza

My first visit to Heartland. Brewing was great! The service and food was spot on and we loved everything! The beer and ciders on tap were very approachable with 2 ciders and options to make a shandy which was unique. I ordered the Old 23 Lager which was a delicious amber lager. I'd definitely go back for more! In my opinion the best part was the pizzas! We had the BLT and Dill Pickle pizzas which were unlike and very well made! The cheese pull on the dill pickle pizza was unmatched. Pizzas are ~18" and thick crust with a cheesy garlic bread outer crust. On the BLT we loved the fresh greens on top and how it was loaded down with bacon. The atmosphere is very laid back and casual, like someplace you would go to after a youth baseball game. Paper plates and plastic cutlery also contribute to the casual atmosphere, but we did not find it to be a negative in any way. I am from out of town, but this will definitely be a spot to go to the next time I am in the area!

Had a fun time at this tucked away brewery gem that has a chill vibe. The eats are solid - they have an excellent option of pizza and a wonderful Italian sausage pizza hoagie. The beer is really good and they have sour options which is a must for me. The green monster beer was excellent. People were cool as well. Check it out!!

Stopped in earlier today and I was very impressed. Friendly owners and staff. The beers that I tried were excellent. I didn't have any good but the menu seemed to have a good selection. I ended up with a growler of one of the beers and I am looking forward to enjoying that this weekend. Clean facility and good location. It would be great to have an outside patio but every building has its limitations. I definitely recommend stopping in to Hartland for a beer.

A must stop in the area. Mac and cheese bites.. deli soups. Pretzel.. soft by the standard (sounds dirty, but many places offer a huge dot pretzel now) is kinda small. But the mustard and cheese sauces make up where the pretzel size may lack. The beers were cold, and delicious. I highly recommend the blood Orange brew.

I am always driving by this place so gave it a try. I first got "Shipping Off To Florida" which is a sweet IPA. It was ok. I could taste the "IPA", but couldn't taste the pineapple at all. I was disappointed so I switched to the Sweet Cranberry Cider. Now that was delicious! Perfectly sweet and crisp with a tad of tartness. I ordered a salad for dinner. The pizza looked and smelled amazing, but I didn't want anything too heavy. The antipasto salad was made fresh and had ingredients. The downfall was the dressing. I'd love to see a homemade/house Italian. Their Italian was the same Italian you'd get at the Ponderosa buffet. Aside from the Italian, no complaints on my salad. It was big, fresh, and tastey. The service was great. There were two ladies working. One was a younger woman who was hustling and preparing food while the other ran around taking and dropping off orders. Both very nice and very good at their job. Next time I must try the pizza! I will review when I do.

Visited Heartland Brewing for the first time today and I don't think we could have received a warmer welcome! We got the last two seats at the bar and Kelsey the bartender gave us some samples right off the bat and some friendly regulars on both sides of us gave some great recommendations. Typically breweries have very mediocre food but not here! We had their brewery board and were impressed with its contents and everyone was raving over their pizzas

1st 5 star anywhere Great beer, and the pizza will make you slap your mom. It is hard to find a brewery with good food AND beer. Most have good beet OR food. These guys have both !!

The Hartland Brewery is def a solid spot for good brew. It's about 20min north of my home and I'm not in the area often, so I was happy to find it! I've had a few visits this year and enjoyed everything they offered. My group tried a couple different flights of beer and we were pleasantly surprised how tasty they were. I think my fav was the blood orange The staff was extremely and helpful with their beer/food info. We ordered pizza and a charcuterie board and enjoyed them both. If I lived closer they would see me often, it's def worth a visit. Pro tip, one day a week they have a great special on pizza, I think it's Thursday, but you might want to call and check!

Personal (Aka not gonna share because it is too delicious) Dill Pickle Pizza and a pint of Peach Wheat.

(So good, I'll leave this review on BOTH listings!) 1. The. Best. Dill. Pickle. Pizza. 2. The pizza crust. So good. Like garlic bread. But better. 3. The beers - loved both the Peach Wheat and Peanut Butter Porter. 4. Sunday Funday - each week they sponsor a local organization and donate 10% of their profits. 5. The owners and staff are good, good people.

What a fun brewery! We happened to be out in the area and noticed a new brewery close by...of course we had to check it out! We found seats at the bar and ended up talking to the owner. We decided to split a flight and try a sampling of beers. They had a special menu for St. Patty's Day. We ordered the Reuben pizza....WOW!!!!! It was delicious. Let's just say, we polished off this pizza before the end of the night. Lol We had a great time and the beer was very good. They even had an area set up outside with fire pits. What a an awesome experience.

    Beer flights with generous pours.

Very much a place that puts customer service service last. Expect mistakes in food order as something to be tolerated. Love it or leave it.

We had a larger group, about 12 (10 adults, 2 kids) and were seated at an "L" shaped table formed by pushing 2 differently shaped tables together, meaning half of our group couldn't see the other half without having to swing around or endure a cricked neck. Our server was pleasant, and attentive in the beginning. Before our appetizers had even arrived, we were already being asked for meal orders. Kinda felt rushed, but put our meal orders in and the appetizers came out. They were all very tasty, and the new pickle fries with ranch were very tasty. Would have been better if the silverware came out before the appetizers came, but maybe the wash washers were backed up from the all of the prom diners that were just leaving. Either way, we had a Second Lady bringing over silverware, so we had to wait to eat until she got there. Shortly after, our entrees arrived, also very delicious! I got the "Pick 2" BBQ items with 2 sides. One of my sides was incorrect, but the severs corrected it the mistake quickly. At this point, the entire table needed refills but the wait staff had completely disappeared for our half of the dining room. I observed other tables (like a couple in a booth kitty-corner from us) was looking around for assistance while I was. It was nearly 30 minutes before a server swung by again to get empty plates out of the way. I don't know if they were trying to get us to leave or what, but joke's on them, we still had presents and cupcakes to do! After our table was FINALLY cleared of enough played and empty cups to conclude our birthday celebration, we enjoyed our cupcakes from M Street Bakery. The wait staff didn't offer us any clean small plates so we had to have our deserts from their wrappers or off of our leftover dirty plates. Honestly, we could have asked for desert plates but we should have been offered them by the waitstaff. Our group explained in the beginning that we're would have separate checks, and when the checks came,it took multiple times for the splits to be done correctly, and one check had to be voided and a credit card transaction had to be refunded and Ran again because the wrong check was charged for the wrong items. I'm willing to give Block Brewing another shot, not on a holiday/school weekend. Maybe we had walked in after a HS dance tornado had just blown through, and everyone was just pooped. It just kinda felt like our whole group was kind of an afterthought and we were put in a corner: out of sight, out of mind.

He was so friendly and relatable. We learned all about his farm, his family, and his animals. Love it! He introduced us to his amazing black garlic gin. I mean it was delicious!!! He made a great bloody Mary with it, and it was one of the best I have had. He also sent us home with some garlic and horseradish! I actually really liked it and am bummed I forgot to ask who makes it.
