Cute place next to Raterman's where you can bring the food from next door. Good selection of beers and nice outdoor seating area. Can't wait to go back!

Nice place. About a dozen tables inside and more outside -weather permitting. Today they had 12 beers on tap and 3 wines plus hard seltzer. Connection with Raterman bread. We stopped in for a pizza and a few drinks. You can bring your food over and enjoy a beverage which is really nice. Dog friendly . Two people working the bar which we were greeted quick and opened a tab. Enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks, a Friday @4:30 pm and was about half occupied. Relaxing and enjoyable place.

They share a building with the new Raterman's so we ordered food from Raterman and then came here for our beverages. I had an iced coffee and my daughter had a couple tiny flights of beer. They have their own food menu of sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches if Raterman's isn't open (their hours overlap but aren't the same). They also have large doors that open and have screens to let in fresh air but keep the bugs out. The patio seating is dog friendly and had plenty of umbrellas for shade. The bathrooms are handicap-accessible and gender neutral. They are located off Main Street near the cemetery and the dirt lot near the B2B trail.

We wrapped up a hike at Pinckney and felt like stopping in somewhere on our way home for a beer. We hopped on Yelp and this place in Dexter popped up. We walked in to find that there was some kind of Irish or Bluegrass music jam happening, which was really cool. The place is pretty cozy and all the indoor tables were taken around 4 pm on a Sunday so we grabbed a seat at the bar. We got immediate service and ended up ordering two beers and a Bavarian pretzel. I got the Saison and liked it. My husband got one of the Belgian beers and liked his too. We scarfed down the pretzel so also ordered a panini with cheese and sun-dried tomato jam. It came with chips and was tasty. My husband is vegetarian so was happy that it looked like everything on the menu was vegetarian-friendly. In general, we were pleasantly surprised that we found this place in Dexter. We haven't spent time in the town before, and didn't know what to expect but this was the perfect place for a couple beers and a post-hike snack. Other notes: -They have gender neutral bathrooms -They also have a coffee area behind the bar with an espresso machine -They also serve some wine -They have an extensive outdoor patio area with heaters

We very much enjoyed this brewery! It was quiet when we came in but that ended up being a great thing! We enjoyed talking to the beertender about the brewery and learn more. We were interested in the stone charm for the tagabrew and were surprised to find out that the name had a geological influence! Erratic refers to a rock or boulder that is different from the surrounding ones. And is thought to be brought in from a glacier. Cool! After learning about the origin of the name, we chose our beers. We really enjoyed our time here and they participate in the hop passport! Such a great deal. Over the years we have saved a ton of money using hop passport!

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Limited food menu. Great beer selection. A portion of some selected beer sales goes to charity.

You know, the kind the curl upwards and fill up with little bits of grease that clog your arteries but make your tastebuds sing? So he made it his mission to find some options for our regular Pizza Thursday takeout. A Yelp search showed that Jolly Pumpkin in Dexter has the goods I was looking for and we placed an order that week for carryout. And yes!! The photos did not lie. Those perfect little cups were everything I had wanted and more. The cheese was nice and gooey and there's a drizzle of honey that adds a bit of sweetness to the pie. It also comes with peppers but since I wanted to enjoy just straight up pep, we left them off. My husband also ordered the bacon brussels pizza which was also quite good but we agreed that the pepperoni was the star of the show. Dexter is a bit of a drive for us for pizza so I'm not sure how often we'll be doing this but it's good to know I can fulfill my craving when it comes!

This one in Dexter has limited menu of pizzas, some sandwiches, and a few apps. After a home game, we felt this location would serve us well and it did. Of course we went right as it opened at 4pm on a Saturday. The decor and ambience are typical industrial/micro brew, with booths, tables, and high top seating. The bar is large and there is another room you can reserve for events. Speaking of the bar, you order everything at the bar and they bring it to your table. Not awful, wondering how that works when it gets busy. The beer is good. Had a Hefeweizen that had a different, crisper flavor than what you might expect, which I don't mind. It wasn't served cold, rather slightly chilled. Might be on purpose to let certain flavors through. Personally, I like beer cold. End of story. Also had their Noel seasonal. Boozy at over 9% however not too heavy or overpowering. Had sugar plum notes, which at first threw me a bit. When paired with the mushroom pizza though, I thoroughly enjoyed. Pizza is solid, nice doughy crust with some char to it. If you're looking for some good beers to try and a bit of food, I highly recommend.

The team here asked us to order at the bar before being seated. I don't know if that is their normal process. If it is...it might work well for the restaurants logistics but it creates a less than desirable dinning feel for me. The order takers were very friendly and helpful. They hustled to process the train passengers. The seating area is a large open room. It feels like an old factory turned beer garden. The floors are a nice hardwood. Not much decor or atmosphere in this large room. They did have a singer as entertainment which wasn't the best. For food I started with the potstickers. These weren't your traditional Chinese potsticker. They were over fried and tough. The filling was vegan instead of pork. It didn't work for me and wasn't very tasty. Kinda tough and flavorless. The sweet chili sauce really helped. I also tried the BBQ Mac Burrito. The BBQ was good but not very plentiful. It was a bit hard to find that taste. The Mac & Cheese was nice and creamy. The noodles were soft. Served alone I think they would be fine. Stuffed in a burrito....not a fan of. Please be aware that they don't give free refills on soda. We didn't have table service outside of someone dropping off food. Overall I will give them four stars for opening up special for the train tour. Otherwise I was rather unimpressed with this establishments process and food.

He made a great bloody Mary with it, and it was one of the best I have had. He also sent us home with some garlic and horseradish! We were here in December so the patio wasn't open but looks roomy with many picnic tables. We opted to sit at the bar because that's usually where we get personal with brew pubs we love to discover. We always search local brews when traveling and 9/10 times the bartender will greet us, ask if we've been there, make recommendations or tell us a bit about the brewery style. Not here. I'm not sure the bartender ever even made eye contact and pretty sure he wanted to be there even less than he wanted us to be there. We did get a few beer samples by request, but no recommendations, he didn't ask what we thought and he made us feel very unwelcome right from the start. However, once that bartender was relieved the new bartender was chatty and friendly to the new customers. We had finished our beers and meal by that time and just needed to cash out. So I would say maybe it's just that one employee. We had the pretzels. Kudos to the pretzel bread-- it was delicious. Beer cheese was pretty good, as was the mustard. We asked about the menu and what he recommends (still trying to be friendly and get him to warm up). He recommended the special menu, so we ordered the Blackened Salmon sandwich. It was okay/average. Fries were cold. We ordered the Table Talk beer and I enjoyed it. I'd say that the beer was the best part of the whole experience. Overall I'm glad we tried it but we wouldn't go back. If the bartender had been more welcoming and interested in sharing a bit more about the concept, we would give it a second try when we head out there again. It's always good to try other food items and beers, but the vibe doesn't warrant a second try. I can understand if a place is busy, but we were there at 2pm on a Saturday and were two of four at the bar and he didn't look to be super busy with the restaurant as a whole.
