While visiting Ann Arbor we stopped for lunch at Session Room by Arbor Brewing Company. The vibe is a celebration of everything UofM and Michigan. Our server explained that the brews on tap are either Arbor Brewing made of other local Michigan favorites. She recommended the chicken tinga nachos so we split those. I enjoyed the fruity Sierra Rose Sangria which was more of a seltzer beverage than traditional sangria so not too sweet. My husband had a flight of three beers. Lots of tvs tuned into local sports and merch for sale here.

Food was good, my burger was excellent. The chicken wings were okay. Poke bowl was fresh. The banana cake was good

I'm convinced the cheese sauce on these nachos is hand crafted by angels everyday. They also have fantastic pizzas here.

We were trying to find a place for a family dinner for two young children and 8 adults. Luckily, the tables are large and the restaurant was spacious and could seat us all. Half the table cautiously got bibimbop bowls with salmon. While I wouldn't consider it a bibimbop, it was a delicious rice bowl. We were all shocked that a sports bar had done so well with Asian cuisine. My partner got the chicken bacon naan wrap and the brisket chilli. He said his food was really good as well. For a large crowd, this is definitely a good place to go and watch a game and relax. If your kids can sit at a table, it's also kid friendly.

BBQ Quesadilla (pork)

The food here is phenomenal! I tried the BBQ quesadilla and it was so good. It was lighter on the cheese and heavy on the meat with fresh avocado slices. Hit the spot. They have a large draft selection and we tried a few ciders - all good. It's a large restaurant with ample bar seating and a large indoor dining room and outdoor patio easily able to accommodate large parties.

Nachos (half eaten haha, whoops)

Excellent spot to gather with friends! The Session Nachos are absolutely standout, and HUGE (for me, best shared with a group!). Pizzas are good too, with interesting seasonal options. Extensive beer menu that leans towards MI beers, and there are absolutely options for any kind of beer lover. The interior is large and set up to facilitate seating for large groups or smaller ones (semi-communal). Friendly service! Plenty of easy parking on-site.

This place is such a gem on the West side. I've been coming here since they opened. Fab, ecclectic menu and amazing beer and wine flights. My faves include: pizzas and the nachos. The nachos are the best that I have ever had. Very creative, unique toppings. The cheese is the perfect liquify texture and the micro greens balance all the other toppings so well. My baby cakes loved the BLT. The bacon was thick and so flavorful.

Delicious! Everything we had was delicious. Standout item was the Session Nachos - chips are seasoned by themselves and then all the toppings including their own in-house nacho cheese makes it the best I've had thus far. Many other places serve nachos and they all taste the same because they are all using same ingredients. Not Session nachos. I'm definitely coming back here minimally for this. Roasted beet salad- beautiful presentation, beets freshly roasted. Truffled goat cheese didn't seem to pair well with the beets for me and I couldn't taste a hint of the balsamic in the dressing. I could only taste puréed beet in dressing. Other than that very fresh everything on the salad. Pizza was excellent - 1 size available only, 8 medium-sized slices. The crust alone is thin, tasty with a crunch on the edge. Right amount and mix of toppings. We ordered the featured pizza special - sopressata margherita. Comfortable pub/restaurant vibe, pretty large with lots of tables. They also have a covered patio to accommodate their many patrons but it was too cold for me. We waited a bit longer and was lucky enough to get a booth inside, which was much better because the crowd and vibe along with the bar is all inside. Lots of people wanting to eat here and it's obvious why. Arrived 5pm on Friday and there was already a wait, about 20-30min. By the time we left the entrance was filled with people waiting.

Bibimbap with miso salmon

Overall: really solid bibimbap, in a really spacious sports bar with friendly service. I ordered the bibimbap with miso salmon because I was craving a rice bowl with vegetables. Admittedly my expectations were low because this is a sports bar that serves mostly American foods like pizza and burgers. It was not a very authentic bibimbap, but the salmon was super flavorful and crispy, and it also comes with steamed broccoli, soy sauce mushrooms, and some pretty good kimchi. I was pleasantly surprised by how good and filling the meal was. We easily got a table for five on a weekday afternoon, waiting only 10 minutes for our seat. The inside is a super spacious sports bar, with many TVs playing different sports. The staff is friendly and checked in on us multiple times.

Delirium on tap!!!!! Zomg.

Review is for their beers only as I didn't have any food. I've heard about it/seen it while driving by but I hadn't been until a friend planned a group get together. I was pleasantly surprised! They have awesome beer offerings. I mean DELIRIUM RED ON TAP? Heck yeaah. I'll be coming here just for that in the future. They also have a great selection of sours so I got a flight of sours as well. The patio space is really nice - large wooden picnic tables make it easy for large groups. Unfortunately dogs are NOT allowed on the patio.

However, I made a grave mistake of ordering on the QR code/Toast rather than at the bar. I say grave because fellow bourbon whisky enthusiasts will cringe -- I was pretty stoked to see that they had Basil Hayden Toasted. So, I ordered it but also selected "add water" with the anticipation that it would be like a dropper of water. Nope, they made a cocktail out of my 2oz pour of Basil Hayden. Whiskey water. At that point, it could've been Makers Mark or Jack and I wouldn't have known the difference. User error though so I did make sure I still tipped accordingly and NOW I know. I'll be back though.

This is a super cute spot that specializes in smoked meat and sausages... yes please. We ordered at the counter and the employees were very friendly and helpful with great suggestions. I got the Michigan asparagus, onion, and cheddar brat, and Nate got the currywurst. We also got a cup of chili to share. We got a buzzer for our order and then sat down in the heated outdoor space. They have a lot of outdoor seating and some firepits, so I really want to come back in the fall or summer. Our food was done quickly and we had fun picking stuff from the toppings bar. They had chopped onions, jalapenos, banana peppers, sauerkraut etc. and lots of sauces. I LOVED the brat. It was easy to bite and not super snappy which I didn't mind. The bun was perfectly toasted and the flavor combination was delicious. Kind of like a broccoli cheddar vibe. I had some of the currywurst which was also delicious! The chili was packed with brisket and pulled pork, and was really tasty. There is a bar so you can enjoy a beer with your sausage, but we just grabbed some cold drinks from the cooler. They even have ice cream and floats!! There are lots of great items for sale as well, including lots of pickled things, frozen pierogi, meat sticks and jerky, and they even have Trenary Toast (#iykyk). I am already planning my next visit to try more brats and the brisket sandwich. This is such a great concept and I really wish we had a place like this in Grand Rapids.
