Came for brunch finally. Food is in smaller portions so we could try many things out. Enjoy sitting up at the bar.

Ummm this place rules? Staff was super nice and I love the vibe of the interior as well as the amazing bar. Our veggie pizza special was kind of meh and bland, but there are others on the menu I'm sure hit it out of the park. Tons of delicious sounding salads to choose from and a stellar charcuterie board that includes generous veggies and fruit...amazing?! Really love their NA drink offerings. Can't wait to return for more charcuterie, a giant meatball, and to try more pizzas and salads. Their dessert menu looked very interesting as well -- give that a peep for sure. Save a spot for me!

After looking for new restaurants in my area to visit with friends, I happened into C King & Co. I'd be willing to give them another shot and maybe try something different but it was pretty underwhelming. I like the vibe, it feels like some of the small pizzerias I've visited in Europe. Unfortunately, service also reminded me of my time in Europe; our server was very friendly but it was very slow. On the one hand I only saw two people on staff but the place was anything but busy. My friends & I tried some apps. I went with the mushroom pizza. Nothing was bad, but also there was nothing that made me think that I needed to come back. Again, if I'm at Ypsi Cocktail Club and get hungry, maybe I'd be up for a stroll across the street to try something new and hopefully have a better experience. But it was firmly below average for me.

This tiny place on Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti is a real gem. It is located in an own Mercantile and looks the part. It has been open a little less than a year Want to everyone to stop by and support this little Ypsilanti establishment. Met the owner the night we were there. Elizabeth was singing jazz on a Wednesday night. They make an awesome mushroom pizza. The menu is limited, but if you enjoy pizza or salad, I'm sure you're going to find some thing you'll enjoy.

C King & Co is an excellent restaurant in downtown Ypsi. It's a great proposition for date night, with a full bar and excellent menu, plus fantastic ambiance and great service. After a recent visit to C King and Co on a weekday, I'm going to say it's probably one of the most slept-on spots in Ypsi right now -- we came in at dinner time and the restaurant was less than 50% full, so I'm thinking that people haven't realized how fantastic the food is. The pizza here is excellent, especially for the money. I'll add that the salad is great too (particularly the arugula salad), and I'm not even usually a salad person! The salad is deceptively large: when it's presented it doesn't look big, but we found that a pizza and a salad was enough food for two people with a bit of leftovers as well. Overall, I'll close by saying that you definitely need to check out C King & Co!

This was a great little resto bar. My cocktail was a perfect match with our salad and seasonal pizza. Jack, our server, was fantastic and shockingly a Canadian like us! We will go back again if softball brings us to the area.

    Charcuterie board

$24 charcuterie board made up of papa John's peppers, bits of bread crust (which they also use for croutons by the way) and two whole pieces of salami! Extremely low effort and it should just be taken off the menu. Staff was nice tho. Charcuterie boards are about trying meats and cheeses so this seriously tastes and looks like a joke.

Fantastic cozy date night or business type vibe. Drinks were strong and tasty but elegant (couldn't name the different mixes. Perfect) Pizza was great. Went on a date night here. Got the clam pizza and the cherry tomato pizza (don't remember the name).

Disappointing BBQ Experience We drove in from a few towns…read moreover, excited to try this spot because they're open late (until 11pm) and we were craving some solid BBQ. Unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing visit overall. We ordered the DQ Pulled Pork and Brisket, and both came out cold with no flavor. The corn bread was okay, and the collard greens were surprisingly spicy -- not bad, just unexpected. We originally wanted the trifecta but they had already run out of ribs. So we went for two orders of burnt ends, expecting that rich, crispy texture. Instead, they were soft, smushy, and cold -- more like baby food than BBQ. Not good at all. The only standout dish was the corn cream cheese side -- warm, flavorful, and probably the best part of the meal. Also worth mentioning: the bartender was great -- super cool and clearly passionate. The place itself has a chill, loungey vibe, but it doesn't really feel like a true BBQ joint. Final thoughts: Burnt ends: Cold, soft, no bark -- total miss Pulled pork & brisket: Cold, bland Collard greens: Spicy, but decent Corn cream cheese: Delicious Vibe: Cool, but not very BBQ-ish Service: Bartender was the highlight Wish we could've had the food to match the energy. Hopefully they can tighten things up, especially on the basics.

Tasty cheese selections and a generous amount of bread and crackers. Their cocktails are ON POINT. The Pep in Your Step blended the mezcal flavor wonderfully. The Nightshade Martini was one of the most unique cocktails I've ever had. I enjoyed my pasta, though I had wanted to order a seafood dish and they were out of mussels. Definitely a bit of a bummer. I remember the beans in the smoked duck dish being especially good. My one complaint about this place is the menu seems to feel similar each time I'm there (months to years between visits). Like there's always a similar fish dish and a curry. I guess I just wish there were different options because the menu is relatively small. Excited to return for another visit in the future and would like to try their lunch offering as well!

OMG these sautéed garden veggies were the best! The other main was a Japanese curry dish. Here is why the five starting dropped to a four. It was just ok. We would not order again. For dessert we had the bread pudding- another star for the night! To the owner, terrific staff. Everyone we engaged in, were positive and knowledgeable. They are a great team! Looking forward to a second visit!

Our experience started out wonderful! We walked in after our friend's bridal shower to each get a cocktail. We did have a larger group and were told that the bill couldn't be split for parties over 6. Totally fine. No problem at all. The bartender asked what we were celebrating, and we told her about our blushing bride. She was very kind and told us she had a gift for us! To our surprise, she made all 10 of us shots. It was so so kind. She took most of the orders but when she got to me, I told her that I hadn't decided yet and would need a tad more time. She told me no problem. She made everyone's drinks. And brought them to the table. In the midst of her bringing the drinks. One of our friends had bent down to fix her shoe and on her way up, knocked a glass over and it broke. The bartenders mood, demeanor, service quality, and attitude shifted entirely. When the glass broke, she rolled her eyes and let out a big sigh. She made snide comments about "this big group". She darted glares in our direction every chance she got and continued to roll her eyes. My friend profusely apologized and the bartender ignored her, not saying anything but continuing to sigh and roll her eyes. My friend, in an attempt to help, started to help pick up some of the large pieces of the glass. The bartender raised her voice saying "put it down". Mistakes happen. My friend hadn't had a single drink that night and was very apologetic but was treated very poorly by the staff for a simple mishap that happens in food service industries. I'd like to say that the cocktails were yummy but I didn't get to try the one I wanted to order. She never came to take my order. After my friend were finished with their drinks, she did come back once more. To take the menus out from in front of me and my husband to give them to different guests. At first, it seemed wonderful, but it kind of ruined our night to come here. So be careful and don't make any mistakes in the presence of their classy staff.

What I do love about Ann Arbor is that they balance out the drunk haunts of young adults with great restaurants and high end bars for the people looking for more than a pitcher of cheap beer. Rabbit Hole is one of those spots. Down the same little alley way as Circ Bar, this underground bar is tucked away, stone hallways and open up and lead to different openings that provide seating, a dance floor and an amazingly stocked bar. If you like bourbon you will love this spot. Our bartender was fantastic, absolutely worked with me on working out a drink. I know I took a pic of an espresso martini, but my drink was made perfect also. Another nice surprise was that it wasn't some crazy price on the drink (I mean any crazier than other places and quite cheaper than around my home), especially for Ann Arbor. Walking away from the bar is a dance floor, and surrounding it are booths in a separate rooms and tables on a level up from the dance floor. There are also two hallways that lead to more booths and tables in different areas of the bar. As you can imagine this is a huge place. Definitely a bit confusing to figure out where to go. I wish I had been given some direction. There is seating against the wall throughout the winding halls. There is a dance floor and a couple bars. I loved the look which would definitely bring me back if I had also loved the Cocktails. The drink I ordered was way too sweet. I was underwhelmed. Most of their drinks looked on the sweeter side even the bartender mentioned. For my second I just ordered a glass of bubbly. It was also on the sweeter side but an improvement. For the prices, I really don't want to have to get up, find my way back to the bar to order my drink, then walk back to my seat avoiding the people and trying not to spill.
