After a disappointing experience the previous week, our group decided to give Pacific Yard House another chance. Unfortunately, this visit was even worse, and we will not be returning. We had a group of 10 on a Thursday evening and were the only customers on the patio for most of our visit. I want to make it clear that our waitress was excellent. She was attentive, hardworking, and did her best despite being repeatedly let down by the kitchen and management. Several orders were prepared incorrectly. A steak ordered "as rare as possible" arrived medium-well. It was remade, but still was not cooked as requested. My catfish platter was strangely lukewarm, while another guest described her catfish as rubbery. An order of fish and chips arrived without the chips. A pizza ordered with bacon, pepperoni, and onions came with grilled onions that were not requested, and the bacon smelled and tasted off. Another guest ordered loaded potatoes as her entire meal. Without warning, she was charged $8 for what was described as a double portion, even though she never requested a double order. What arrived appeared to be approximately one cup of roasted potatoes and did not look like a double serving or a complete meal. When we asked to speak with a manager, Andi told us that she had to answer to the kitchen manager and could not address the charge. She then said she was busy and walked away without offering a solution. When I attempted to explain the problems from this visit and the previous week, I was told that the owner, Teek, is usually at the newest location except on Tuesdays, is difficult for the staff to reach, and that I would need to find him myself rather than having management take my contact information and request that he call me. Restaurants make mistakes, but repeated incorrect orders, questionable food quality, missing items, unexplained charges, and dismissive management are not a single mistake. They are a pattern. Our waitress deserved much better support, and our group deserved food prepared as ordered and concerns handled professionally. After two bad experiences in a row, Pacific Yard House has permanently lost our business. read more

Always a great time! Thursday Rib Eye dinner is fantastic. Nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and open floor plan.

Great service at the bar and cold beer and great Mexican Martini the bartender made at our request. CFS and the cheeseburger wete both great. Definitely worth a visit and we will make it one of our go to spots from now on. read more

New Fave! We aren't from the area so picked a spot after my husband's VA appointment. (added bonus it was close to the VA!) Loved the atmosphere and the history of the building. Our server was so nice, told us all about the building and some events they had coming up to check out. I had the chicken caeser salad but as a wrap, by far the best one Ive ever had. My husband had the steak salad; he also loved it. The homemade dressings were so good! Will for sure be back! read more

This place was amazing! I love the atmosphere and vibes inside. It is very rustic which I love. I had the spicy shrimp and chicken pasta which was so delicious. There's plenty of parking in the area which is really nice. This would be a perfect restaurant to check out if you're in the old town Conroe area exploring. read more

Service (waitress) was great, my food was good (Cajun pasta with shrimp, came with a little bread and nothing else $17 I think) but two of the friends I was with had to send their steaks back twice because they were overcooked. One of the steaks (supposedly ribeye) seemed to have a lot of gristle from what I saw. Place is pricey for food that to me was just ok. If you have to wait for a table there are no benches or chairs to sit on while waiting. read more

Went for the first time on Saturday evening with a group of 4. Food was just ok for the prices-When our dinner was brought to the table, I asked the waitress for napkins & silverware. Her response was, 'oh, let me see if we have any...' She came back & said, 'Sorry, we are out of silverware. We have a large group on the patio.' Ummm... how are we supposed to eat our food & she just blankly looked at us confused. Finally, my daughter spoke up & asked if they had to go silverware which she eventually went to find. The food was bad. I met a friend there for lunch today. We both ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp, she ordered a side salad, I ordered chips, queso and salsa. The chips came out first as expected. The chips were so stale we could not eat them. We told the waitress and she replaced the chips. The queso was good and the salsa was okay. The bacon wrapped shrimp came and it was not edible. The bacon was so raw we were afraid to eat it. We both took it home to try cooking it more as a left over. We did not want to complain again after sending the chips back. The waitress did not notice that we didn't eat our food. My check was over $30 and my friends was around $26. That doesn't include tip for food that was not edible. The tea was good. We had such a great experience! The food was delicious and the prices were even better. For an appetizer, we ordered the chicken nachos, and they did not disappoint. There was plenty of chicken and cheese sauce on every bite, so no one was left with just plain chips. It was generous enough to split between four people, and we even appreciated the little bonus of lettuce on top that made it feel fresh and complete. Came for dinner tonight with GF. Very inpressed with the service, severs and the food. Been here before for a drink and band but first time eating food. I wasn't aware but ended up they had dueling piano show at 9pm... seen this show 3 years ago here...really good. Ordered the bourbon salmon with Sweet potato fries and the chicken fried chicken with Mac and cheese and mashed taters. The chicken fried chicken was really good, hand battered and everything was hot and fresh. Everything tasted great and prices were good too. 4 of us arrived at 1:30 Sunday the 19th. It took 20 minutes to place our order. 2 of us were ordering crawfish. 3 pounds each. They advertised 8.00 a pound and 5 for $35.00. My wife ordweed fish and chips and one ordered catfish and shrimp. We ordered pork skins while waiting on our crawfish. We had to ask several times about our skins and finally got them after about 45 minutes. They are the kind you get at the quick stop. They kept telling us our crawfish were almost ready. An hour and a half later they tell us they are soaking and will be ready in about another 30 minutes. No one else was eating crawfish. We finally just said forget it and paid for what we had gotten. We went last night and were slightly disappointed they were out of pork belly, we are big fans of pork belly. We did order burgers ( 3 of us did, a smokehouse, a southwestern, and a truffle burger) all were over the top incredible. My husband ordered the fish and chips, I tried it and thought it was too much coating and not enough fish, but I got vetoed down right away by everyone else who tried it, so I could be wrong. The burgers though, delicious. Our server however was not. Young girl with dyed hair, I think it was purple, maybe green, I really can't remember now, but I do know, she is not a good server in my opinion. We had to ask for everything, and that was AFTER we flagged her down. she never did a return visit, left it up to the runners that delivered the food to bring malt vinegar for the fish, a refill of the Dr Pepper, etc. They have big glasses, nice size water glasses, yet ours were empty and we had to flag her down for refills of water. This place is good for day drinking at work lunch. Never got to even try their food the wait was miserable. 1pm on a Friday, obviously the work crowd. We were a four top, waited for thirty minutes and continued to wait. We were told we would be waiting an additional 35 minutes at the table we were going to sit at because the food was backed up as well. We were continually told to just keep waiting when the staff could have been more transparent. The staff could not make up their mind nor come to an agreement about wait times and what to do with parties waiting to be sat. Last minute dinner turned out to be delicious. Our server was Kevin, he was knowledgeable about the menu, and shared what he enjoyed. He was nothing but kind and attentive the entire time. Our cocktail the pink flamingo was delicious. We got the keto nachos and seriously were fire I highly recommend. I got the drunken tacos which were delicious! We've been to the UK for the official fish and chips and were VERY skeptical but the waitress couldn't recommend them enough so I figured I'd try it. You guys... I was pleasantly surprised! I was hesitant to try this place at first because of the location (it's tucked away in a corner), but my husband and I got to the restaurant 15 minutes before they opened on a Sunday, and there was already a line of people. We got sat immediately and our server was fantastic. I can't remember her name, but she was awesome! We started with Teas which were both amazing (sweet & unsweet) and then had some fried mushrooms and sweet potato fries as appetizers. My pizza was phenomenal! My husband got the club sandwich which was also great! We finished the meal with a MASSIVE blackberry cobbler that is absolutely shareable (2-4 people). I'll be honest, if it weren't for Taste Of the Town I likely would have never sauntered into Pacific Yard House...but boy, was I wrong, and I'm so glad I did. The chicken nachos were bigger than my head & for taste of the town theyre serving a half pound of seasoned shrimp or an alcoholic beverage. A Loud Night at Pacific Yard House The three of us went for Dinner on a recent Tuesday evening. We have been here several times and decided to return for an evening dinner of catching up with family. When we arrived around 7 pm, there were a couple of guitar players/singers warming up on the stage. We were seated right away at a table on the far back left. Our server was prompt and attentive. I had the blackened snapper, with cole slaw and mashed potatoes. The dinner was very good, with the fish cooked exactly as I like it. The cole slaw was good, but nothing special and the potatoes were very good. The only downside to the evening was that the live music was VERY LOUD. When they were singing, there was no way to hold any type of conversation. We left with headaches because it was so loud, even though we were seated very far away from the stage. Nothing against the performers, but we'll probably stick to coming here during the day if we want to have any type of a quieter meal with conversation. read more

We checked out Pacific Yard House on a Monday, so there was no house band. I hear that they're really good. The menu provides a good variety so you can order chicken, ribs, pork chops, steak, pizza, and several kinds of fish. I got the fish and chips, which was perfect! The fish melts in your mouth and there was no greasy aftertaste whatsoever. The country fried steak was so tender that you could cut it with a fork. Could literally feel a back East Boston vibe with the dim lighting and light conversation, which was kind of nice. Drinks were flowing and TVs from every view. There was a live band onstage, we were seated in the back per our request. I ordered ham and pineapple pizza. It was good but I've had better. We were greeted and seated immediately, joining some friends on trivia night. The place was packed, with all ages enjoying the musical trivia. We started with the boudin balls, which brought to mind good times in southern Louisiana with the perfect blend of spice and heat. Next up, I couldn't resist the southern fried chicken steak complete with veggies and loaded mashed potatoes. Add sweet tea and a spicy margarita, and you could just call this my favorite meal.
