Small order mixed beef and chicken quesadillas
    April K.

We arrived at 5:30 on Sunday evening and they sat our table of 11 right away. The server was there to take our drink orders quickly. I ordered a beer rita, I realize these are typically frozen with a beer, I prefer mine to be on the rocks and specifically asked for that. Mine was brought out incorrect. I ordered a small order of beef and chicken fajita quesadillas. They were good but nothing notable. Our biggest issue was that one of our party ordered the El Grande Burrito and pointed it out on the menu to the server when ordering. The meal received was incorrect and the server said it was named very similar to another dish which was the mistake. We had almost finished eating when he finally got the burrito so he ended up taking most of it to go. It would have been nice if at least the manager came over or his meal was comped but nothing at all. One of the kids in our group ordered ranch to go with her fries. We had to ask multiple times to get it because it kept being forgotten in a 20 minute span.

Why 3 stars? Because it's typical, fine, Tex-Mex. --- --- --- As has been the case for many of my previous reviews of Tex-Mex places, I remain baffled at how many of these concepts exist, especially when they are all almost exactly the same as all of the others. Normally when a new restaurant opens in Pine Market, I'd be visiting right away, but I wasn't all that excited to come here because I've been to other Los Cucos locations before and knew it would be pretty much what I thought it was. We went with the usual: chips and queso as an appetizer, while we waited for our fajitas to come out. Everything was perfectly fine. Not bad, not remarkable. The service, which I grant can greatly range from day to day, was painfully slow on this particular day. They seemed a bit under-staffed, which led to really long gaps between our server coming by the table. When our food came out, it was obvious that we were long past the sizzling portion of the fajita show. But the meat was tender and the price was very fair ($24 for beef fajitas is a steal in 2025.) Honestly, I'd probably be willing to pay more and drive further for my next Tex-Mex craving, but I do wish Los Cucos success, as I know the restaurants of Pine Market have had a really tough time sticking around so far.

Friday Night Mexican Food!! We Ordered $60 worth of food and received burnt old chips and expired salsa. It's disappointing that someone in your kitchen would serve .2 cent burnt chips!!!

Very pleasant, modern Mexican chain resturaunt near a green space. Open design but comfortable and uncrowded. I loved they didnt over air condition, and the green salsa was one of the best I have ever tasted. I liked the chips and salsa, happy hour specials, and service. They hit all the right notes for a modern chain

Love the green sauce and love the salmon fajitas. Ask them to add some grilled pineapple and poblano peppers. Delicious

We loved everything about Los Cucos and our server, Ian, did a great job. We really liked the Pepino Caliente drink and the queso flameando.

4.5 stars overall!…read more This is the new spot! Hitting their one year anniversary today, I can highly recommend moose and oak! The decor/setup provides a slightly upscale, but still casual, sports bar feel that's family friendly. There are dart boards and various games surrounding the tables but it's all separated appropriately. Tbh this would be a perfect place to watch your sport of choice! The lineup: SOFT SERVE MARGARITA: you read that right & The reason we came here (thanks Instagram!) we got strawberry and it was everything and more I needed it to be. Will be back for this alone. TRUST. although..... I feel like it should've completely filled the glass like it does in the advertisement $9.99 a piece! 100/10 Appetizer: fried pickles spears - YALL. I am soooo picky about fried pickles and these are the best I've had. The pickles were good, crunchy, not overly oily, and stayed together! 12/10 Pickle flatbread: apparently I felt in a pickle escapade mood. Surpringly not over pickly and delicious. I would absolutely get this again. The crust was soft and cheese was melty! 9/10 Fish tacos: average. The chipotle sauce was a bit spicy. Don't know that I would get these again. 5/10 Fries I could skip, not my fave. The street corn was so good, though I wouldn't consider it traditional &! A bit heavy on the red onion, but I enjoyed it! Their sauces were all so good! The prices were fair & I feel like the amount I paid was relative to what I had, so kudos to management for that! Last but certainly not least, Prestyn, our server was great and hilarious. We truly enjoyed her & her jokes! PS - Girl, you and your name are beautiful! The food was semi-slow to come out, but thankfully we weren't in a hurry.

The food was good. We all enjoyed our meals. Sweet potato fries were a hit! However; our waitress failed to tell us the fries didn't come with the meals before we ordered. Should be transparent about costs for extras. Rude awakening to see our bill.. This place charge for everything extra!!!

Seated in a clean and comfy private booth. We didn't know the dress attire, we came from the golf course. My husband in his country club golf; polo shirt, baseball/golf hat & nice cargo shorts. Me in a nice golf skirt, golf hat (same), and a nice fitted polo. Both in tennies. We were dressed perfectly. Clean casual is fine here Service impeccable, upscale atmosphere, but not stuffy, large menu, large bar & wine menu too. At the tv quietly showing the baseball game. I cannot say enough how amazing this Restraunt is. The Chef is insanely talented. Dinners presented as if we were at a 10-star Restraunt - it's that good HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Nice selections. the happy hour bites are priced nicely. They are small so order multiples. We had the fried ravioli, meatballs, stuffed mushrooms (contain crab meat) and the truffle arancini. Fried raviolis were the fav. The dipping sauce is maybe a vodka sauce? Really good. Arancini was a bit dry and the truffle sauce was knock you over truffle flavor. So caution for those who are not big on truffle. They also serve great complimentary bread and dipping oil. The vibe is so nice and upscale. A really great place in a strange location above a grocery store. There is an elevator or stairs on the side by all the patio seating. Give them a try.

French food is a bid of a scarce find North of Houston. The space is small but, quiet. Fitting for the sort of intimate French dining experience they provide. Lots of black ceiling space, adding to the feel of a night out "dans la grande rue." Hostess and wait staff were friendly and happy. We landed in the French Riviera on Fondue special night. Our waiter, Sebastian (come on, right?!? perfect) sold us on the half price treat immediately, split by the three of us it was so much fun. Trying not to make a mess, while trying not to appear to be scarfing down every last bit of french bread loaf cubes that comes with it. Emmental cheese melt combination, such a good twang to the cheese and a smooth feel. Good time. Dinner was served promptly. Fish, Poultry, Red Meat in the forms of Coq au Vin, rich, juicy, delicate (as "au Vin" should be) served with those little french style carrots with the nub of the bright green stem attached...so, foreign and cool. My Daughter had the Salmon on a raft of asparagus (so fat and round, I couldn't believe how absulutely soft they were; since, usually big asparagus have super woody stems. These were almost cartoon-large and still every bit was edible.) all smothered in Hollandaise sauce, and topped with caviar (salmon roe). I ordered the Lamb á la Menthe, Loin and chop sprinkled with micro-greens, traditional green beans, substitute carrots for broccoli rabe and added 3 Jumbo Shrimp (to dunk in the rest of the fondue cheese) Hey, you can do what you want with your food when its your turn! Finished up splitting a Créme Brûlée. You have to, it's perfectly French, it was a little too yummy and I could get the picture taken before the spoons had half devoured it. Now for the Piéce de Résistance...Toillettes... Clean, modern-enough, bright, small (fitting for the size of the dining room) with some trendy bits, the Oceanic blue stone pattern tiles on the walls, the copper sink (cool), gold mirrored napkin holder (not one of those tacky chrome wall-mount dispensers), oil-rubbed brass fixtures. Just enough to stay on par with the dining experience as a whole, but, nothing in and of itself to write home about. Certainly, didn't carry a French influence into the restroom, at least the men's. I can't wait to go back to this place! Why didn't I get truffle mac n cheese? Why didn't I try Ratatouille?!? ALL LOVE for this place and Nothing but Good Food in a romantic setting. Followed up with a walk along the waterfront docks, with sailboats slipped and a Catfish feeding well in the center of the docks. Lights from the adjacent waterfront restaurants over the night time boats...great date night destination. Highly Recommend. But, only if you like food. Bon Appétit!
