Amazing brunch! Awesome drinks (Bloody Mary, pineapple Mimosa). Great outdoors and beautiful inside.

Really good new spot. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with plenty of light and an open space concept. It's a great dining experience and I will definitely be back.

Why 5 stars? Because I'm so glad this is now in the neighborhood. --- --- --- Before I even get to the food, I have to give ALL of the kudos to d'Alba for turning the most nondescript space imaginable, to something with 10/10 vibes. Before they took over, there was some kind of chicken place here that looked like it was never even open. And before that, it was some other dumpy looking spot. When we heard d'Alba was coming in, I couldn't believe it. We'd been to the one in Houston and it was a super trendy looking place. Meanwhile, they seemed to pick *the last* place I would ever imagine a 2nd location going. But they killed it in every sense of the word. When you're in here, you really forget that you're in an outdated little strip center on 2978. I just came back from a trip to New York when I visited here and it felt like I was back in NYC for a bonus day. As for the food, we were really impressed. Alba Balloon Bread: 5-stars. It's basically just bread with basil pesto, garlic and truffle honey. If you think that sounds good (who doesn't), you should order it (you really should.) Peach Agua Fresca: 5-stars. I wasn't planning on ordering a cocktail, but this drink sounded amazing and it met those high expectations. Flor de cana, peach, lime, mint & soda. Yep, it was awesome. Wagyu Burger: 5-stars. Super tender and flavorful. My only regret was splitting this with my wife because half of this thing was not nearly enough. Meat Trio Pizza: 4-stars. The dough was 5-stars, but the meat seemed a bit too overly salty. We were torn between like four different pizza options, so next time we'll just try another one. Caveat: my wife loved the pizza, so maybe we won't! Cookie + Ice Cream: 3-stars. This was perfectly fine, but I'd opt for a different dessert next visit. I'm just not a big chocolate person and it was prevalent here. While I really like to try new places and don't visit my favorites often enough, that will not be the case here. I'll be back several times to work my way through the rest of the menu. Kudos to everyone involved in turning an eyesore into an amazing new restaurant, in terms of both food and vibes!

We have been anxiously awaiting the opening of D'Alba Craft Kitchen in Cocktails off 2978 in Magnolia/North Woodlands. Knowing that the location in town is chef driven with creative food and drinks we were hoping for this type of restaurant to open in our area. We visited on day 3 of them opening, and were not disappointed. Amazingly, on day 3 of operations, they have the full menu going that they have at the Garden Oaks location. The buildout of the space is so much improved over the previous iterations in this space. Open and vibrant, large patio, and very nice inside. We sat at a table that was inside, but adjacent to the patio. It did get a little warm by the end of the meal, but nothing really uncomfortable. Our server was very attentive, and it was obvious that it was day 3 as she wasn't completely familiar with all the dishes, but she did a great job getting answers to any questions we had. We ordered a couple of cocktails, mine was a Gold Rush which as sort of like a whisky sour served up with a little spice. My wife got a Mescal Negroni that was fantastic. For our appetizer we enjoyed the Blue Crab and Shrimp Campachena which might qualify as the best Campachena I've ever tasted. The home made chips were of equal quality and seasoned well. Great appetizer. We moved onto Pizza and Pasta for dinner. Sharing the Shrimp Bacon and Porcini pizza and the Wagyu Bolognese over Melfadine pasta. Both dishes outstanding. Really good flavors on the pizza with an enjoyable crust. The pasta was also very good, and a nice portion. We used excess crust from the Pizza to sop up the remaining sauce from the Pasta bowl when we were done. Yums!! For dessert we had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. Simple, but on point. Not too heavy, and exceeded expectations. We will be back!! Come on out Magnolia and support D'Alba. Let's keep these guys around a while.

This was my first time at the Magnolia location. I was excited to come and get the balloon bread but we found out when we arrived that it's not served on the bunch menu. I wish it were. I ordered a spicy margarita which was delicious and perfectly balanced and not watered down. For our entrée, we shared the pepperoni pizza with Mike's hot honey, and it was absolutely delicious. We got it with no cheese because my wife is lactose intolerant. The cashew spinach and artichoke dip was good, but would have benefited from a little bit more salt. The service was good and we will definitely return for another meal.

I love the heights location for weekend lunch so when I heard they had opened a location in north Houston, I was excited to try it, especially for the highly recommended brunch. I ordered the ricotta pancakes and had some of the grapefruit mimosa we ordered in a carafe for the table. Given the ricotta, I expected the pancakes to be less dry. They also came with whipped butter, fruits, and some chopped nuts, which were all fine, but no syrup or other liquid to help with the dryness of the pancakes. I'm sure their lunch offerings are still great and the service was good when I went, but maybe pass on the pancakes if you go for brunch.

Lovely new restaurant in a location that other restaurants have not survived. Airy ambiance and has a play area for little kids. Dog friendly! Happy Hour was totally worth it! 1/2 off cocktails/beer, $9 for the cheese board, $5 for the butter bread & $1 oysters (granted they were teeny tiny things but what do you expect for $1). Didn't make a reservation, host sat us right away. What would have made this a 5-star rating would've been the service. Either the waiter was NEW NEW or he just couldn't get it together. He was off from the start anyway. But he put in chicken instead of shrimp for their pasta, he forgot to place my second cocktail and he COMPLETELY forgot my to-go order. We were also being insisted that we ordered avocado ranch even though we didn't order a single thing that required avocado ranch. Felt bad for the runner who came to our table three times and it was the wrong table. Seafood pasta was too salty. Kids pasta didn't have enough salt or sauce from what my kids stated. Cheese board goat cheese was not appetizing and should've had one more cheese option instead. Butter bread was delicious. Wild mushroom pizza was delicious and the two cocktails I tried were really good. Food (specifically the bread, oysters and pizza), cocktails and price for the quality really saved this first visit here. Hopefully if we come back, the service from a different waiter will be better.

Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and a big win with my toughest critic--my son! The vibe of the whole place was welcoming and fun, and we truly enjoyed our experience. Photo included for proof of a very happy kid. Can't wait to come back!

My wife and I were looking for a new place to try, and D'Alba turned out to be an absolute home run -- honestly, more like a grand slam. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was great: warm, inviting, and just the right mix of lively and relaxed. We started with the oysters, and wow -- they were amazing. Fresh, briny, and perfectly shucked. Easily some of the best oysters we've had in a long time. The cheese board was just as impressive, with a great mix of flavors, textures, and pairings that showed real attention to detail. You can tell they care about quality ingredients here. The drinks were also fantastic. You can taste the craftsmanship in every cocktail -- balanced, creative, and just plain delicious. It's one of those places where you know you're in good hands no matter what you order. A big shoutout to our server, Sofia, who did an outstanding job. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home without ever being overbearing. She had great recommendations and made sure everything came out perfectly. All in all, D'Alba completely exceeded our expectations. It's rare to find a spot that nails the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service all at once, but D'Alba absolutely does. We left already talking about what we're going to try next time -- and there will definitely be a next time. Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't yet. You won't be disappointed!

Food was great, atmosphere was super cute... open area for the bar was cool. Service was good too. The only thing that could have made it nicer was the music. It was a little too loud and high energy... not relaxing... but I will definitely go back

I'm so excited to have d'Alba open near us -- everything about this place is wonderful. The food is outstanding, the cocktail list is creative, the happy hour is great, and the whole atmosphere feels elevated yet comfortable. It's exactly what this area needed! That said, I'm a mom to a two-year-old, and I was really disappointed by one issue that makes it tough for parents to enjoy their meal. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor kids' play area with a small jungle gym and child-size picnic tables -- such a thoughtful idea! But unfortunately, it's located just a few feet from the front gate, which opens directly onto busy 2978 near the 1488 intersection. When I asked both the hostess and my waitress if we could please close the gate for safety, I was told "no" both times. That means if your little one runs toward the gate (as toddlers tend to do), there's nothing stopping them from going straight toward the road. I ended up having to follow my child every time she played, which completely defeated the purpose of a relaxing lunch or happy hour. It's frustrating because the solution feels so simple -- either allow the gate to be closed while children are playing or relocate the play area to the back of the restaurant where it's safe. I love everything else about this place and would love to come here regularly, but until that's addressed, it's not an stress-free option for parents with small kids.

This place is amazing ! Best happy hour ever! Food is amazing ! The oysters are the best I've had in the area. Everyone is so nice and the place is a great vibe. Definitely need to try it! We will be back for sure ! If you sit at the bar Sofia will take care of you .

I was going to a Dave Matthews show at the Pavillon and wanted to grab dinner beforehand, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity. I got to Market Street about an hour and a half before the concert started, and quickly became really nervous when I discovered the Market Street was apparently now Grand Central Station in New York City. Every human being on Earth was also here and the area was buzzing. After hunting forever, I finally got a parking spot and hustled down to the restaurant, only to be told it would be a 30 minute wait. Not good! However, just in the time it took me to sit down and scan through my phone for a last minute pivot to a new restaurant, my name was called. My 30 minute wait turned into a 5 minute wait and it could not have been more clutch. But because I was still in a bit of a hurry, I was ready and ordered the Trophy Burger as soon as my server came to greet me. And as was the theme of the night so far, said trophy burger was at my table within a few minutes. And because this was a solo mission for me, said trophy burger was in my belly in only about the time it took for them to cook it. My thoughts on the burger is that it was perfectly 4-stars. In between average and amazing. One thing that really stands out is that it was a messy undertaking. Don't eat this on a date before you're comfortable with the other person seeing you with sauce constantly all over your face and spilling onto your plate. Everything was all happening at such hyper speed that I even had time to order the dessert. I love Reeces, so when I saw a Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cup on the menu, I couldn't resist. You'll never believe it, but it was on my table within 2 minutes. My rating for this ranges from bite to bite. Some bites were amazing and others were just okay, depending on which ingredients were within that spoonful. Overall, I wouldn't need to order it again, but no regrets on trying it out. This is a nice addition to Market Street, and the back-of-house deserves a healthy share of the tips with how on top of it they were during a night with a packed house!

We came with friends and made an early reservation, which I highly recommend when dining at a restaurant of this caliber. We were greeted and seated promptly and immediately impressed by the upscale yet comfortable decor. It is an elegant restaurant, but I would recommend casual nice attire. Our booth was extremely comfortable for a party of four and featured high backed seating that provided privacy without seeing other diners behind or across from us. Our waiter greeted us warmly and walked us through the drink options. For dinner, we ordered the lasagna and the carbonara. Both dishes were made with fresh, high quality ingredients and were absolutely delicious. The carbonara had a rich cream sauce that clearly tasted homemade, using whole ingredients. It was not oily or overly buttery like you find at many other restaurants. The balance of ham and sauce was spot on and made the dish perfect. The lasagna was impressive, almost like a layered cake, with what seemed like ten layers of pasta, excellent quality meats, sauce, ricotta, and cheese. Both dishes were very generous portions. We started with a Caesar salad that was perfectly prepared. The dressing was flavorful without being too salty or overpowering with anchovy, and the croutons were excellent. We also enjoyed a German Riesling that paired very well with our meals. For dessert, we ordered the Oreo cheesecake and the tres leches cake. The cheesecake was perfectly prepared, rich, and well balanced, while the tres leches was wonderfully sweet, moist, and executed perfectly. To finish the evening, we had Americanos, which were excellent tasting coffees and a great complement to dessert. The service truly stood out. Our waiter had a great personality and was attentive without being overbearing. I have seen other reviews mention overly attentive staff, but that was not our experience at all. He checked in appropriately, kept drinks refilled, and made sure everything was going well. The decor throughout the restaurant is comfortable, upscale, and inviting. The booths were plush, table settings were clean and well organized, and dirty dishes were cleared promptly and efficiently. Overall, I give TerraVino a solid five stars. It was a wonderful dining experience with excellent food and service. I would confidently say this is the best Italian food I have had in The Woodlands so far. It is absolutely worth the price, reservations are highly recommended, and I will definitely be returning again.
