    Stuffed mushrooms and fried ravioli.

Met a couple of girlfriends for happy hour. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted with ice water in pretty glasses. We each ordered a glass of wine. Nice selections. the happy hour bites are priced nicely. They are small so order multiples. We had the fried ravioli, meatballs, stuffed mushrooms (contain crab meat) and the truffle arancini. Fried raviolis were the fav. The dipping sauce is maybe a vodka sauce? Really good. Arancini was a bit dry and the truffle sauce was knock you over truffle flavor. So caution for those who are not big on truffle. They also serve great complimentary bread and dipping oil. The vibe is so nice and upscale. A really great place in a strange location above a grocery store. There is an elevator or stairs on the side by all the patio seating. Give them a try.

Lovely open space to enjoy lunch with the girls or dinner out. Indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoyed the lunch menu which also has a 3 course option very reasonably priced. Service was terrific. Met owner who is onsite and involved. Had the veal which was well prepared and good size for lunch.

Reservations reservations required We tried to walk without one but got accommodated. Food was amazing Pasta is fresh and chewy which are the best The pasta made on a cheese well may be gimmicky but it tasted wonderful Even the calamari was wonderful: batter was the thinnest ever, light, salted very lightly

Why 5 stars? Because this was one of the best brand new restaurants I've visited in a while. --- --- --- There's a reason that most locally owned restaurants have soft openings to work the kinks out. I can think of an infinite amount of new restaurants that have opened near me in recent years, where the feedback from people was, "ehhh... I'd wait a couple of months until they figure out their issues." This has been especially true for businesses here in Pine Market. Since we moved here in 2021, I think that has universally been how it's gone. But the Woodforest neighborhood Facebook page was the polar opposite for Amalfi Taste. I didn't even know this had opened, and then in the blink of an eye, I couldn't open Facebook without seeing someone raving about their visit. So we had to check it out for ourselves, and I have to say: the hype is real! And just as everyone else has said - you would never know that they had only been open for a week or two before we visited. I actually asked our server if the owners were also the owners of any other restaurants, but he said they actually own Harvest Market (which Amalfi sits on top of), but not other restaurants. He didn't seem 100% sure of that, but it's still pretty amazing that Amalfi Taste isn't a franchise with a tried and true plan for opening. But as for the food: Burrata Alla Parma: 5-stars. My favorite Italian appetizer (Prosciutto and Burrata) and I basically have no notes. It had these little mini balls of balsamic on top, and I guess it could have used a bit more of those, but I still loved this dish and would happily order it again. Parma E Prosciutto Pizza: 4-stars. High quality crust. I don't know if I would have to order it again, but it was enjoyable. Spaghetti Alla Carbonara: 4-stars. Similar to the pizza, in that, I really enjoyed it, but it wasn't necessarily the star of the show. Pollo Alla Parmigiana: 5-stars. May I introduce you to... the star of the show. If this wasn't the best chicken parm I've ever had in my life, I don't know what was. It was a bit crispier than normal around the edges, which I loved. But my favorite part were the giant globs of cheese on top - they looked like marshmallows and they tasted like heaven. Not only will we be back, but this will probably be our most commonly visited restaurant in the area.

Ambiance was nice & upscale with navy velvet seating & soft lighting. We ordered the CARPACCIO DI MANZO; USDA prime beef, arugula, shaved parmesan, artichokes truffle oil, SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA 22, Guanciale with parmesan, egg yolk and creamy sauce & the pistachio cheesecake. All were tasty but I didn't care for the smell of the CARPACCIO DI MANZO...it was a bit off putting to which I just could not stomach it. Perhaps it's an acquired taste. Regardless, Anthony our waiter was attentive & we had a nice lunch.

My step mom and I came here for lunch and I was disappointed. Especially for the price of the dishes, the food was just not great. My pasta was super bland and the calamari we got looked like someone just threw it on the plate. I feel like they were trying to make it look presentable but failed. The Caesar salad may have been the only good thing that we got, along with the rolls and bisque. Unfortunately like I said, my pasta was just super bland and boring. I don't think we will be coming back.

I'm always impressed when you marry excellent cuisine with awesome service. At Amalfi Taste, you experience the total package. This neighborhood venue is a must try for locals and beyond. Ask for Anthony - he's not only knowledgeable, but a class act. We will be back! Save my seat for NFL madness.

Short rib risotto, filet mignon, and Lobster Ravioli

Went to Amalfi Taste for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! From the amazing service, to the beautiful atmosphere and even better food I couldn't recommend it more! We started with the bruschetta, for entrees we got the short rib risotto, lobster ravioli, and filet mignon and they gave a complimentary lemon cake and all was phenomenal.

4.5 stars overall!…read more This is the new spot! Hitting their one year anniversary today, I can highly recommend moose and oak! The decor/setup provides a slightly upscale, but still casual, sports bar feel that's family friendly. There are dart boards and various games surrounding the tables but it's all separated appropriately. Tbh this would be a perfect place to watch your sport of choice! The lineup: SOFT SERVE MARGARITA: you read that right & The reason we came here (thanks Instagram!) we got strawberry and it was everything and more I needed it to be. Will be back for this alone. TRUST. although..... I feel like it should've completely filled the glass like it does in the advertisement $9.99 a piece! 100/10 Appetizer: fried pickles spears - YALL. I am soooo picky about fried pickles and these are the best I've had. The pickles were good, crunchy, not overly oily, and stayed together! 12/10 Pickle flatbread: apparently I felt in a pickle escapade mood. Surpringly not over pickly and delicious. I would absolutely get this again. The crust was soft and cheese was melty! 9/10 Fish tacos: average. The chipotle sauce was a bit spicy. Don't know that I would get these again. 5/10 Fries I could skip, not my fave. The street corn was so good, though I wouldn't consider it traditional &! A bit heavy on the red onion, but I enjoyed it! Their sauces were all so good! The prices were fair & I feel like the amount I paid was relative to what I had, so kudos to management for that! Last but certainly not least, Prestyn, our server was great and hilarious. We truly enjoyed her & her jokes! PS - Girl, you and your name are beautiful! The food was semi-slow to come out, but thankfully we weren't in a hurry.

NRF was on a couple. They added a wall with pool tables since it changed owners. Ordered the blueberry lemon drop, it was 9/10 and would have been 10/10 but had no sugar rim... maybe I need to request it? Usually lemon drops come with but I dunno. Also ordered grilled shrimp tacos with cheese only. They came out with only shrimp, waitress brought out a side of cheese when I asked. Three shrimp to a taco, one more would have seemed more appropriate. But they were yummy. Fries were great, some of the best sports bar fries I've had. I enjoyed my food and drink and woke return, even though they still have some kinks to work out.

We were greeted right away and seated. Our server was nice and took our drink order and gave us time to look at menu. Chips and salsa arrived quickly and wasn't long before we ordered. Odd thing is we wanted a frozen margarita but was told at first that the employee that is in charge of mix machine arrived late and forgot to turn on so we were told frozen drink not available to order. we said you got to be kidding, a Mexican or Tex-Mex place and you don't have frozen margarita available. The server said give me a second to check again to make sure and came back in 2-3 mins and said its ok they got machine on and it was ready to make frozen margaritas..very odd... We ordered quesadillas and I ordered a chicken Mexican bowl. Food was good overall and wait time wasn't long. One more odd thing is waitress came by our table and saw the chip bowl empty except some crumbs and asked if we wanted more chips? We said yes please and more salsa...and than we said to each other why would the server let basket get empty to begin with is what we wondered and then when server returned all she bright was chips...we had to wait for her to come back by and re ask for salsa..smh This won't keep us from returning just didn't have the greatest customer service this visit. Hopefully our next visit will be awesome.
