The foods was insanely mid considering we waited almost an hour for it to come out and we never got the starter that we ordered. Nothing like the sound of trains passing by while you wait an hour to pay your bill...

Huge tasty portions, large semi-covered patio. Responsive and patient staff. Large selection of American and comfort type food. Much better value than Wunsche for sure !

This place has had a makeover if you haven't been in a while. It could use a little more staff as I went at lunch and it was a bit busy but there was no one there to greet me and let me know if I am to seat myself or not. There were two contradicting signs. The food was just as good though since it has come under new owners. The tables aren't sticky anymore when you touch them and they still have live music on some nights. Check out this the new dogs of your town and enjoy some good food.

The food in consistently good however the steak tip bits are less than desired. The to-go was amazing small amount of chopped steak with no presentation (lettuce, etc). $16??

For 100 degree heat they didn't have the AC on. The service were all polite and friendly. Food was good. It's crazy to me how TX thinks they need to up charge $$$ everything to keep history (old buildings or restaurants) alive. Either that or I've been hanging out with my parents too much. Go when someone else is paying.

I've been to Puffabelly's a few times now and also enjoy the food! The chicken friend chicken is really good and the prices seem reasonable. It's a fun spot for walking around Old Town Spring. I have found that the staff is almost too good in the sense that it has felt rushed ordering and closing out despite the restaurant being not overly crowded by any means. Puffabelly's has an old timey charm (which is clearly what they're aiming for).

Hidden gem in Old Town Spring with great ambience and delicious food. We tried the empanadas, steak bites and the chicken fried chicken. Everything was delicious and so were all the side dishes like the charro beans, sweet potato fries and Mac & Cheese.

The food here is really great, but the hours are always uncertain as they do not adhere to any standard business hours.

It almost felt like a coffee shop... just with a different specialty beverage taking center stage. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxed, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and did a great job helping guests find something that matched their taste preferences, which I always appreciate. After grabbing a drink, I found a seat and waited for bingo to begin. While I was sitting there, I couldn't help but notice that this place seems to have built quite the community of regulars. There were gentle laughs floating around the room, inside jokes being shared, and an overall sense that people genuinely enjoyed spending time there. The lounge is also pet-friendly, which was a fun surprise. Looking around, I noticed a large selection of board games and card games available, along with a pool table tucked toward the back. It definitely feels like a place designed for people to settle in and stay awhile. When bingo started, it was well organized and a lot of fun. The prizes were actually worth winning, too which unfortunately I did not accomplish. Whomp whomp. lol Overall, I enjoyed my visit and can absolutely see why people become regulars here. While I'm not sure it would be a spot I'd frequently visit on my own, I do think it shines as a place to gather a few friends, sip on a drink, play some games, and enjoy a laid-back evening together. If you're looking for high-energy nightlife, this probably isn't it. But if you're looking for good company, cozy vibes, and a community feel, this lounge definitely has its charm.

They need to put a sign up on the tiny road so you don't pass it up. First I will say I came here for a baby shower in one of the private rooms they offer. I cannot comment on the service because I did not need any. I also cannot comment on the food; it was provided by the party. What I can comment on is the parking - it was absolutely horrible! And that is being kind. They had a few spaces available in a field but to get to those spaces you had to drive through a 5 foot hole that was at least 4 feet deep! Thanks but no thanks I don't do off roading! At 2pm this place was packed! There was a DJ, people everywhere, small children everywhere and quite a few dogs. All in all, I am giving the stars for private room because that is what my experience consisted of.

The semi-off-roading experience driving up the long driveway did not reassure me that I had found the spot either. Limited parking spaces were even more limited due to giant potholes filled with water. I had to move my car because once I parked I couldn't get out without getting my shoes soaked. Venue itself is a huge warehouse space. Large shaded deck spans the building. Tables are picnic tables. Great airflow inside with large fans. There is a separate room attached to the large main hall with some high tops and foosball table. Live music this evening with local youth bands from School of Rock. Other touches around the room reinforced their community support (local art on the walls, silent auction for a charity). Great beer selection- B52 beers ranging from IPAs, Pils, Ale, coffee porter. I tried the Bishop Crackberry Cider- just enough sweetness and perfect for the summer night. Service was nice. Food is served outback from a food truck: They give you a buzzer so you don't have to wait around outside waiting for them to call your name. I shared a Chicken Vindaloo pizza with one other person. Portion size was perfect for 2 adults. Although it promised "tongue searing curry" it totally lacked spice. The Indian flavors were there though. Just don't promise me tongue searing- and it's ketchup level spicy. Thin crust was topped with chicken, Black Truffle Ricotta, Mozzerella, Basil- it was an unexpected exotic flavor to find at a traditional brewery.

I was very excited to meet my new friend from Houston. I love this world when strangers living in different states or towns open up and start a new friendship. Since we live in two opposite directions and far from each other, I asked her to find a place somewhere in the middle. She sure knows her town and suggested this place which is out of town if you are staying in the Houston Uptown area. I got there at Noon, and my new friend welcomed me with a warm smile. This was a lovely countryside drive, and so happy to discover this place. It was such a beautiful location with a big yard all around and lots of parking with indoor and outdoor seating. The best part is I don't need to do parallel parking in Houston, Texas. I live in San Francisco, so seeing many lands everywhere is overwhelming. As usual, I skipped breakfast, and we both were starving. Our server Issac was very polite and kind. He gave us the menu, and I asked him if he could suggest any signature dish. We ordered chicken n waffles with iced tea on a warm day. The food came out very quickly, and the presentation and quality of the food were out of this world. Omg, it was so delicious, full of flavor, juicy, and perfectly warm like it supposes to be. We enjoyed the food, service, ambiance, and location. I can't wait to go back with my family and try different things from their menu. I totally recommend this place as you will enjoy the location too.

I expected an upscale, warm, romantic, cozy atmosphere which was the description I read. The prices are upscale but that's the extend of it. The restaurant inside is a bar with some tables scattered around. It didn't exude a warm or romantic vibe. The pictures make it look like it's on a nice piece of land with great views but it's just on a street among other businesses and there's a yard area. We ordered an appetizer, which was tasty. I think it was crab rangoon, honestly I forget but I do recall it was good. My husband has chicken parmigiana and I had a pizza. The chicken dish was good. The sauce was good and the chicken was juicy. My pizza, while it tasted good and the ingredients were fresh, was burnt on the bottom. I also would've liked the spinach to be placed by the sauce and cheese so it could cook a bit instead of on top...it was a little dry. I'd say give it a try but definitely be prepared for a more casual than romantic dinner and a higher price point.
