My husband and I went here just to share breakfast before I had to head to work. The service was speedy which was great since I was anxious about needing to leave on time. Our waitress was also very friendly and attentive to us. Even the bathroom was clean and comfortable! The ladies room features a small changing station for babies which I found very helpful considering most small joints don't have that. My husband and I were visiting in the area and found 105 Cafe on a Google search. It was really a wonderful place. The owner and staff made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. This has been our go to spot since moving to Conroe. I try to order something different but I always go back to The Irishman, without bell peppers. Came here for lunch today for the first time. There was a line out the door when we arrived which was a good sign. We were seated surprisingly fast, and were given coffee and water immediately. Their breakfast and lunch menu all has such good options that it was hard to choose. I decided on tomato basil soup and a house salad, and my husband got the chicken fries steak and eggs. We were both extremely happy with our choices, and I stole some of his delicious breakfast potatoes because they looked so good. Everything was fantastic and super reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is super cute and clean, and the service was superb. We don't live out here, but are constantly in the area and can't wait to come back. First time here for me, but my GF has been here before. Small place with small parking lot. So Sundays usually are busy but we got here at perfect time and the wait for a table was only 10 mins I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and they tasted pretty good the only odd thing is they put all the food on top of the tortillas so I could not use the tortillas as I wanted which would be on the side and tear small prices as I ate to pick up small bites. I asked for some on the side once waitress delivered the food but never got them so I just ate as is, waitress came back about 5-7 mins later and I told her never mind. Next time I will make sure to ask for tortillas on the side when I order. GF ordered Salmon salad not bad but salmon was not seasoned and had no real flavor and keep in mind if you order that the salad is all Spinach. No ice berg, romaine or mixed greens mixed in. Over all pretty good. We also ordered the tomato basil soup, came with toast and tasted great very good. Sadly, last visit here was sub standard. Veggie omelette was filled with veggies, but they were raw and in huge pieces. Had it before when it was much better. Waitress took 10 min to bring ketchup, then forgot to bring the requested "to Go" cup. Bathroom was not very clean. So sorry to see a go to place be no longer my go to place. Prices are way up, got it. Service was down. Sad. So many places are not good anymore or affordable. Will be staying home more. read more

We've eaten here twice since moving down here after hearing lots of positive reviews and we haven't been disappointed! If you're looking for a cafe with a small town feel and home cooked menu, this is the place! Just be warned the parking lot is small, and so is the interior, so be prepared to wait if you come when it's busy. Once seated, service is attentive, although it did take a bit for our food to arrive. The tea was served with plenty of ice, so I didn't mind waiting. We ordered the loco moco and homestyle cinnamon french toast combo as well as a lemon ricotta pancake to share. The loco moco is served with white rice, a hamburger patty, brown gravy, an egg cooked to choice, and white onions. The hamburger is cooked well and is fairly decent size so a tad more gravy and onions would have been perfect! But it was tasty as served. My husband enjoyed the french toast, and it was just as delicious as it looked in the picture! The lemon ricotta pancake was huge!! And was served with syrup and a spoonful of blueberry topping. It was good, but a bit dry, not as moist as I would've thought. You can pay at the table or at the front. Either way, we didn't feel rushed to leave, as we had several offers to refill our drinks as we were finishing up. We went here for breakfast, because when drive by there is usually a line outside and it received good Yelp reviews. The was edible. I have the smoked chicken omelette and it was bland and the chicken was not smoked, I am so thankful it came with a side of salsa. Our server seemed like she was in rush and was not friendly. Service is always friendly, food is always fresh, consistently tasty and plentiful. Table side coffee carafe is refilled upon request They close at 2 pm and are always full of happy diners who don't overstay their welcome so all those poor people waiting outside in line have a chance to enjoy a meal. I wanted to give this place 4 stars but I feel like I need to be a little bit more critical the food was absolutely fine but honestly the service needed a little bit of help and the atmosphere definitely could do some touching up with. Location: So this place has absolutely gotten more popular than it used to be I think after they remodeled and it is extremely difficult to find a parking spot there is very little parking and you most likely might end up parking on dirt or at an odd angle in order to take advantage of whatever spot is there. Atmosphere: So I have to say this with a little bit of a laugh but whoever decorated it I think was given a budget of $500 told a try to make it look as expensive as possible and instead got the cheapest gawdy looking paintings and decorations. Additionally the tables themselves some of them are so small to try to eat on and I believe our booths had a rip on it. Food: The food was fine and I really liked that there was a lot to choose from including specials. And in general I believe that we enjoyed the food. The coffee was extremely weak and didn't help that there was just a large carafe of the same stuff so it's not like I could get a new batch. I ordered the migas and they were crazy spicy and so different than what I've had but not in a good way I ended up giving them away to another family member. Price: I would absolutely say that this is a good value. We were able to eat for 3 people and it be probably I believe around 40. Service: I did like that we were able to get a seat during the time that they said we were supposed to because there is going to be a wait here. The server themselves was pretty unhelpful in regards to recommendations and in general helping. Also the 2nd that we got are initial plate they dropped off the tab which was a little confusing because I still wanted to order more and I also wanted to order take away so kind of felt like she was trying to kick me out. I'm sure this is normal protocol but it would at least be nice to say hey can I get you anything else would you like to order anything else before handing me the bill. Hands down the best chicken fried steak in the area. The sausage gravy makes it, served over potatoes and onions was not your average breakfast cafe fair. Service was excellent, drink was never empty. The atmosphere was pleasant, they were fairly busy when we arrived but that didn't impact quality or speed in service. My friend and I came here this morning for my birthday breakfast and it was soooo good. The service was perfect, our waitress was so nice and attentive and made sure our drinks were never empty. The food (biscuits and gravy, of course) was delicious and came out of the kitchen nice and warm. I also ordered 2 sausage links and the meal came with my choice of egg style - I got scrambled. The place is very quaint and lovely to be in, the tables are nice and roomy and the seats are comfortable. The parking leaves a little to be desired, but that's a small inconvenience when the food and service are so phenomenal. Went to 105 mid morning today and was really excited after having a friend mention how good their food was. This is a very small place with not a lot of parking but people come and go quick. Service was great! I ordered the Smoked chicken BLT and fries. I was very disappointed in the sandwich. There was too much smoke to the chicken, so much so it wasn't edible. The sandwich had very little mayonnaise and the lettuce had brown on it. The fries were wonderful! If you are going for breakfast you will probably love this place. read more

Why 5 stars? Because my opinion got better with each bite. --- --- --- On my way home from Dallas, I wanted to grab something to eat in Conroe because I'd be coming from that direction anyway. Unfortunately, it seems like 90% of restaurants in this area are closed on Sunday's, but 105 Cafe was open and was a place I had bookmarked anyway. I called in my order while driving through Huntsville and arrived here with perfect timing. I couldn't pass on trying the Monte Cristo as soon as I saw that it was a menu highlight. I was feeling a bit stuffed from a huge meal the night before, so I was a little hesitant to order something so heavy, but I decided to go for it. When I arrived home and opened the to-go box, I was not super excited by the lack of visual appeal, but at that point, I didn't have any other option. And then I took a bite and thought it was pretty good. And then another bite and I thought it was a little better than that. By about the fifth bite, I was a full advocate for this thing. I'm sure it would have looked better if we'd have dined in, as to-go boxes don't help anything look better. Add in that I wasn't that hungry, I guess I just wasn't excited about this. But now, a few days later, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. It really won me over! My wife ordered the Hawaiian Loco Moco, which looked even less appealing, but was also really tasty. To be honest, I had about a bite and a half, but I would have happily eaten the whole thing if my wife would have let me. Went for breakfast with my daughters waited 30mns to be seated just to be bullied out of there shortly after our food arrived bc i guess they had a line. The owner had the audacity to come by our table several times and say "ugh she hasn't even touched her plate" to my daughter plus the waitress brought us to go plates and the bill like how do u know we are done or gonna need em? all within no more than 30mns into our food served.
