Wish I could give zero stars because it doesn't deserve one star. Tried going to this location 3 different times and each time the hostess said there was a 45 min wait because they were short staffed. The restaurant was not crowded each time. They can't seem to get their act together. Poor management! Don't waste your money here, go elsewhere!! read more

So I was very hesitant to try this location due to the poor Yelp rating. I noticed on Google review the ratings were much higher. I was really craving PF Changs so I decided to give this location a shot. Food was delicious!!! I finished my entire plate of Mongolian beef. All 4 of us at my table loved everything we tried. The chicken lettuce wrap, spring rolls, lo mein, sesame chicken, changs spicy chicken, banana spring rolls dessert. Service was great. Place looked new and clean. I don't know how the reviews are bad here. My family had a great experience here, and we will be regulars from now on. Keep it up! read more

Have not been to a PF Changs before so wanted to give it a try, ignoring the pretty bad reviews from other yelpers. Got there around lunchtime on a Saturday afternoon and the place was pretty empty - it is at the mall so that was a bit of a red flag. When I got the menu it said all dishes were family style which is not what I wanted. Waiter said they recommend family style but dishes were actually meant for one person. Wife ordered lo mein and veggie fried rice and it was enough for 3 people so beware of that. The food was decent but way overpriced for what you get. I got a spicy chicken dish and it was $16 - two of us and a couple of sodas was over $50. Service was ok, place is a nice space but not sure I would be back read more

Horrible I'm so disappointed! I used to work at the of Chang's in riverside years ago. The lack of service I received was borderline disrespectful! Mind you people I didn't even get to sit down. I had a 8:30 reservation & wasn't even almost seated till 8:46! I say almost because while asking for updates on why a reserved table was taking so long another older couple came in & gave the table to them. I don't know what it is, but my wife and I have such terrible experiences at chain restaurants recently... We were here last night. We went in at 4 ish. We wanted to catch an early dinner for our 7pm movie. When we got there, there was 1 group ahead of us. They sat the group. Then we moved up. Table for 2? Yes, it's going to be 5 minutes. So they sat us in the waiting area. 2 minutes later, another couple came in and they were sat right away. I'm not sure what was wrong with us! About a minute or two after that, we were sat as well. Not the biggest deal, but it kind of irked me. They told us that they were clearing tables, but when they sat us, I counted 5+ tables that were empty and already reset. Unfortunately it gets worse from here on. The table was decently clean, but our dishes still had small bits of food on it, and we're definitely not clean. We had our waiter replace them. Those dishes were cleaner, but not really that much... my fork was completely dirty and I had him take it away, I didn't mind using just chop sticks. I also had a bit or 2 of food on my napkin. On to the food. We ordered the dumplings and pot stickers. Both were ok. Nothing too special... They were a little on the harder side, the could have used another 30 seconds in the pan. Either that or their dough was too thick. The inside was decent for both. We didn't mind it too much, so we didn't say anything. Dinner was a whole different story. We ordered the honey chicken family meal for 2. And we also ordered chicken lowmein. The honey chicken was pretty decent. It had a decent flavor, it was crispy, but at the end of the day, it really wasn't something to write home about. Nothing special. The other chicken, was where we had our major issue... We both thought that they noodles were pretty over cooked, but the big shocker was the chicken tar-tar. Most of the chicken on that dish was fully cooked, except this 1 chunk. My wife cut it in half, and it was barely cooked on all its sides, it was completely raw in the middle. Not a little pink, but raw! It kind of reminded me of how you cook tuna. Quick sear and serve! We complained immediately. We showed our waiter, he to it back. The manager came over and was so wonderful in apologizing! She was very nice! She offered to remake it. We declined. It really turned us off. The manager took it off our check and gave us a discount as well. She really did the right thing here. Even though we declined a new dish, she brought us one to take home anyway. We paid our bill and left to go see our movie. When we got home, we decided to try the dish again, and it was very underwhelming... I don't know what to say about this place except we weren't expecting this! We had much higher hopes!!!! Needless to say, we are obviously never coming back... As a side note, bathrooms were a 3/5. Not amazing clean, but better than most.. The decor in the restaurant was ok. It felt a little empty if that makes sense... They could definitely use more decorations! Again our waiter and the manager were very friendly!!!!!!! All in all, avoid. I was looking for timing of Hackensack's PF Chang but Google showed Wayne's one and I was like 'when did it open in NJ Willowbrook Mall'? I liked the whole sitting arrangement. Bar with plenty of Bar Stools, booth and tables for dine-in and also open Kitchen. Drawings on the walls are quite amazing. It's like one huge open space. We got our booth quickly and we settled in. Alicia was our server and she took good care of us. It was Wok Wednesday ( as per their menu), so half on Fried rice, $5 for Classic Mojito. We ordered Chicken fried rice, Hokkien Street Noodles, Singapore black pepper chicken. Hokkien Noodles was a little bit sour, not sure due to lemon or sauce but it was still eatable. My Chicken fried rice and Black pepper chicken was good, the only thing I was disappointed with their portion size. I paid $17 for entrée and Entrée's portion looks like a kid's meal. Even for chicken fried rice, the portion was less. Yup, even I noticed my cutlery was not clean enough ( after asking, Alicia replaced it), food stains were on the menu card and leftovers were lying at other tables. I ate here last night and did not look at the reviews prior to going and I agree with you all. The food was not for me. I hardly ate it. As soon as it was placed in front of me I could tell someone went overboard with the ginger from the smell alone. The tofu tasted like fish. I H A T E fish. I bagged up most of the meal and drove the offensive reeking thing to my house with the windows open and put it in the dumpster. Service was good. Food came out promptly. Place was clean. Food looked fresh and was not sitting around. I just seriously, seriously disliked it. It's possible there was nothing wrong with it and was just not to my palate. So I've eaten at PF changs a few times. I visited this location when it 1st opened as well as currently during the pandemic. So I will say overall their price point is a bit pricey. And going on the weekends is a bit of a nightmare there's usually a lot of people. I usually go on a weekday between 3 to 6pm which is their happy hour. I'm not a big fan of their main entrees. I'd usually stick to the dim sum and appetizers. My favorite dim sum is the hand folded crab wantons they're delicious in my opinion. I'm not crazy over their cocktails. I wish they had a better variety of cocktails. I've never had any problems with the waiters or waitresses because like I said I always go when there's no rush hour and it's in the middle of the day. I will say recently when I went I intended to get a certain dim sum but instead I got a sushi roll because the person I was with also got sushi and I think the waiter was confused. Luckily it was fine and the food tasted good but just a heads up sometimes the staff can be a little stressed because one waiter is tending to multiple tables. Overall I don't think it's that bad establishment. It has a decent amount of space, it's clean and the food is decent but like I said I only go for dim sum and appetizers. So I would recommend this be a place you go to when you're on break from your job during the week or you're just at the mall and you wanna just stop by & grab something. Worse experience at PF Chang ever!!! Our waiter Anthony was awesome and tried his best to accommodate us despite the kitchen's effort to deliver. There was so much food and other stuff on the floor. The bus boys were literally just wiping the table and pushing the food onto the floor. Our fried green beans literally came out in a huge ball! Sent those back before taking a picture. Someone brought my daughter's wonton soup out and was like "let me know if you need more broth, because I spilled some coming out." Like really?! The broth soaked the entire napkin it was on. Orange chicken was HORRIBLE. It was super spicy and so tangy. It wasn't eaten nor was it taken home nor did they offer to take it off the bill, not a problem because you never know who you are entertaining. One of the dirtiest restaurants of America. After reaching the restaurant well before the reservation, had to wait for 20 mins (reason being the table is getting cleaned). Once we get seated at the table I noticed it was hardly cleaned. Sauce and rice all over the table, Plates had food residue on them, the floor which I noticed later was filled with grime and was sticky. We waited another 20 mins before the waiter came to take order. Until now 40 mins wasted just waiting. They hardly have any choice of non-alcoholic drinks. If you're not a drinker, you have lemonade and coke. They have unsweetened ice tea and refused to provide a sweetened one. Lemonades smell like floor cleaning liquid and taste sour as fuxk. Talking about the food here, it isn't Chinese in any angle (Probably Asian fusion), sushi isn't Chinese, every dish is slapped with loads of celery, Chinese don't even eat celery, at least other famous restaurants don't use it. After 10 mins of recieving our food, which is now 60 mins into sitting on table, we get informed by the waiter that kitchen is gonna close soon. This was yhe most ridiculous thing. We spent more than 40mins waiting to recieve our first batch of food. The restaurant was literally empty. It didn't feel great the next morning either. I can go on and on about this restaurant, but to conclude I would say stay away from this restaurant for health reasons. It needs a serious inspection from the health/food department. They cannot serve public such unhealthy food. read more

All the hype of a P.F. Chang's opening in the Willowbrook Mall made me excited. I've dined at P.F. Chang's plenty of times before and usually enjoy the food and experience. I know this spot is brand spanking new but it has a long way to come. Starting with the service, it was pretty bad. The waiter seemed flustered and was not attentive at all. It took a very long time for 2 glasses of water. It took even longer for 6 pan fried dumplings to come out of the kitchen. Even worse, when they finally arrived they were cold. Did the waiter ever come back to see how the appetizer came out? Nope. Nor could we find him anywhere to try and flag him down. After waiting for a while, we came to realize we had two options, eat them cold and pay for it or don't eat them at all and still pay for it. We ate some of them cold, I could tell they would have been good if only they were served at the correct temperature. Entrees came out shortly after the cold appetizer (surprisingly they didn't keep us waiting for these). Entrees were warm (yay!) and the portions were normal size, although I did feel they skimped out on the sweet and sour chicken portion a bit. The other dish was the honey chicken and the proportion of food on this plate was better. Food tasted pretty good overall. Wondering if the waiter has come back yet to see how entrees were or to even ask about the appetizer? NOPE. Really bad service. He came back at the very end after we flagged him down for the check. At this point it wasn't even worth the hassle arguing about the cold appetizer... P.F. Chang's, you have a lot of work to do. Better train your staff or hire more skilled waiters. If the entrees weren't decent, I would have given a 1 star rating. read more

Had a reservation for 5:30 got seated at 6:00, that was the only slight inconvenience we had we are a family of 6, 3 adults 3 children. We may have waited a a little for service but the waiter was very nice and took our order everything we ordered was correct. Drinks I had the green tea was as it always is. I ordered lettuce wraps and the filling was packaged on top of the crispy rice noodles (obviously no longer crispy when I ate it.) overall the food was good. Food is overrated and EXTREMELY overpriced! My Chang's Spicy Chicken finally came out after an extended period of time and it was burnt and my friends mongolian beef was extremely salty. Fast forward to the checkout they give you a receipt where you can scan the QR code and use a feature called up and go to check out so you do not have to wait to pay your bill. I paid the receipt the waitress came over and said did you pay for your check? I said yes luckily, I had the receipt emailed to myself as a confirmation so that I can show her. She said there was no record in the system. She looked at the receipt and I left the mall. A few minutes later I received a phone call from the store from the manager Tyler, asking if I could forward the receipt for proof as it was not in the system. 10 minutes later I received another phone, i'm sorry but it looks like your payment did not go through can you please take your credit card information in process another payment for you? Reluctantly, I provided him my credit card information and at that point after I've already given him my information he goes over the order and it's for a completely different order!!! I said to him can you please cancel that that is not my order!!! He again said I apologize that is for somebody else's order, your order did process. I said well I do hope that you are not going to charge for that person's order! I then received an email 45 minutes later with that SAME order, I will not know if it has been charged to my bank account until tomorrow, but honesty this is no way to run a business or try to scam customers! read more

I normally don't give bad reviews however tonight really bothered me. We went there to have dinner, when we got there we were put on a waiting list for 20-25 minutes. We decided to wait instead of going someplace else. After 25 minutes we went and asked how much longer and were told another 10 minutes. We waited. After the 10 minutes we went and asked again how much longer, and the girls in the front said 10 minutes, we are next and that people just left. As we were waiting a party of 4 came in and they sat them right away after we were waiting for almost an hour!! The girls said that they had reservations online and that they have priority. I really don't want to write a bad review for any establishment as anyone can have an off day but this has happened twice now [ the kitchen has been backed up) and I am waiting on my food for over 20 minutes now. My father has finished his meal and I am waiting like an idiot for mine. Completely unacceptable! We also had to beg for water to be brought to the table. With the way prices are being passed onto the consumer in this inflationary economy, service should be at the top level for every establishment. Decided to pay this spot a visit since I had a free app voucher. We got there during happy hour (4-6 pm), were seated quickly but took a while for our waiter to come see us. The place was basically empty which made no sense as to why they wouldn't come around more often. To get their happy hour specials, you have to ask them for the menus, they won't give them to you with the other menus. We placed our orders and the food came out quickly. We didn't see our waiter for another 25 minutes so we placed another drink and round of apps before he left again. This place has good food, the service is strongly lacking and it's a shame. It has a very nice bar area but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this location. If you are in the area, you should go during happy hour but besides that I would pass. read more

This location should be zero stars. I'm not sure how badly a restaurant can be run, before the owners notice and put in managers who can actually operate it. There are so many things that went wrong and was really bad. 1) It took 20 minutes before we were even asked for drinks or appetizers. When the waitress finally took our full order, she came back 15 minutes later to confirm the appetizers, because she never put the order in. When the appetizers came, the lettuce for wraps was frozen and rotted....literally brown rotted lettuce. How do you put that on a plate?? 2) Because she never put the appetizer order in the food came a minute later and we still couldn't eat the appetizers because they were incomplete and we had rotted lettuce. 3) asked multiple times for an extra plate, new lettucex and refills. Never got it. 4) the lady who is expediting from the kitchen and responsible to bring the food from the table is rude and nasty. But that's not what makes it bad. How does a manager allow a woman with way too overlong nails (the things are like daggers) bring food to tables? She was never taught that your fingers stay on the outside of the plate and her nasty nails are touching everyones food. Where is the health department?? Where is the manager who is supposed to be watching the operation and catch things like this? 5) Again, ask for refills before we leave. Never got it. 6) The food was cold and not cooked properly. Of everything we ordered, the only thing that was edible was the chicken fried rice. Everything else was presented wrong when compared to every other PF changs we have gone to (I usually eat at one every 2-3 weeks). 7) The reason this location is so bad, is that it's like high school. All of the workers stand off in groups talking and joking. Including the managers. Again, how do the owners allow this to happen? It's a nice place for sure, the food tastes pretty good. I understand that places are low on servers, but the service in general was not fantastic. First time I came here their portions were good. The chicken lettuce wrap was fairly portioned, but now it's very small. Enough for two-three people who get one piece of lettuce. Highly disappointed in this location. Been to a few other locations and had great experiences. Here, not so much. First impressions are big, and when you're given menus that are sticky because they haven't been wiped down, it doesn't do much to make you feel that the place as a whole is clean. Another negative talking point, the music. Now I'm about as big a music fan as anyone. All genres. And I like to listen it loud. But people like to talk at restaurants, and it shouldn't be so loud that you can barely have a conversation. Even if you're trying keep your spot trendy and cool, there's one certainty, conversation will never go out of style. Blast your music at a club, at a restaurant turn it down a few notches. As for the service and food. Service was fine, food was average at best. I had the Chang's spicy chicken and my wife had the salmon. Dishes that we've had before at other locations. The quality just wasn't great. The chicken wasn't crispy and didn't have its usual kick flavor wise. My wife described the salmon as ""ok". She clearly didn't like it. I don't write too many reviews, but felt compelled to write this one. I generally really like this chain, and I'm sure better management could kick this place into higher gear. My mom has been raving about this place for the past few months. I haven't tried it yet so I decided to go tonight with my friends. She has said how good the food is and has visited the restaurant like 5 times in 2 months. So of course I wanted to try! The appetizer was really good and we were off to a good start! we tried the lettuce wraps too which were pretty good! I truly couldn't choose what I wanted on the menu so I tried the ramen which was alright! It was a good meal but I would get something else next time. Overall not many complaints about the food. The only bad I would say it the waiting around. Our server was a really nice guy and he was very welcoming when we told him it was our first time there. He gave us a rundown of the entire menu and it was appreciated. I get it was really busy but we were almost done with our appetizers and didn't put our entree order in yet. Finally he came back around and it wasn't horrible because we're a few young women out having dinner so of course we were chatting away for a while! We put in our entree and it took a bit of time to get. My biggest complaint was the drag waiting for our food to get wrapped, get the check, come get the check and payment, and bring it back. We got there at 7 o'clock and didn't leave until 9:30 ugh! I would go back but I wouldn't choose a Saturday night that's for sure. Had P.F. Changs for the very first time last night and everything was so incredible!! Started with wonton soup and crispy green beans. The wonton soup was the best I've ever had! The green beans were yummy and the dipping sauce was really tasty.The only complaint I had was that the green beans were still a little too crunchy and could've been cooked more but luckily I don't personally mind that too much. Then we ordered Mongolian beef, Buddha's delight (minus the tofu), and crispy honey shrimp with fried rice and lo mein. No complaints about those except for the green beans again but the flavors were on point. Service was friendly but a tad slow and some items were forgotten but I would definitely return and definitely recommend!! read more
