The Front Porch has been on my radar for a while now and I was finally able to stop in for dinner. For appetizers, I tried the Garlic Parmesan and Bourbon BBQ wings. The meat was very tender and the wings were very large. The sauces were packed with flavor and super tasty. I also tried the Crab Rangoon Mozza Sticks with Thai Sweet Chili which was my favorite part of the meal. The wonton wrapper dough was so flaky, light, and delicious. There was a perfect amount of filling inside. The Thai Sweet Chili dipping sauce was an amazing compliment. For my entrées, I had the Galbi burger with a side of bok choy. I swapped the brioche bun for a lotus leaf bun instead. My only complaint is that the burger was a bit overcooked and on the drier side. Service was attentive and friendly. Such a comforting vibe here! The atmosphere is so welcoming, the staff is incredibly kind, and everything is priced really well. They have amazing prices for happy hour as well. I went here for a trivia night with a friend. Honestly the food was not good. The buffalo chicken dip had a very bizarre taste to it. My friend additionally said it was unappetizing. I wanted to like this spot because I love a nice dive casual bar but I don't think I'd be back. Service was also extremely slow, there weren't many tables sat and we had to wait so long just to get our drinks. I don't even remember the first review I wrote I didn't think I had ever been here. But we did go yesterday and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. The food is out of this world. We were just looking for something different instead of one of the same old places and my boyfriend suggested this and I'm so glad that he did. They have an outstanding craft beer menu. We started withthe goat cheese and beet salad. I wasn't such a fan of that because the goat cheese was fried and I'm just not into that. But we also got the wonton nachos and oh my God they were so good and so late and not greasy whatsoever. For entrées, I had the salmon with the sweet and savory sauce and I absolutely loved it and it came with crispy brussels sprouts which were delicious. Love this spot. A inconspicuous building that is home to some awesome Asian fusion cuisine that is delicious. I've been here a few times for wings as they are some of my favorite around. Double-deep fried deliciousness, super crispy and good. This past weekend i stopped in with my wife for a beer flight of nice local craft beers and wings. I got the buffalo and old-bay dry rub. No complaints at all, food came out super fast and it was so good. The service for a Saturday night was actually impeccable. I've been going here for years for the great wings and amazing beer choices. My last 2 visits were not good. Wings were not prepared as good as in the past, Cajun seasoning was only on some pieces of the wings and nothing on other parts and my teriyaki wings has sauce only on the top of the wings. Next the beer choices, 3 weeks ago only 3 IPAs and yesterday none. There were almost all lagers. Maybe I'm not their type of customer anymore and they don't sell many IPAs. We have been to The Front Porch twice! We sat at the bar and had appetizers and drinks. The food was great and the bartender knew how to make a good Long Island. The atmosphere is casual and fun. Cool stuff on the walls and a unique bar setup with metal baskets mounted to the wall to hold the bottles. My wife liked it so much that she made me get her a T-shirt after our second visit. Our last visit was probably our last. Everytime we go there the soda and anything that comes out of the gun tastes watered down, flat, and downright nasty as if they don't clean the soda gun. The silverware and dishes always look dirty and have grime on them. We asked for plastic utensils on our last visit. The food is good but highly overpriced and not worth it for the terrible slow service and dirty dishes and lack of food beverages to wash your meal down with. I have to say I've always loved this place. The wings were always phenomenal and the vibe of the place is chill. However, the last few times I've been the service was extremely slow. Our waiter took our drink order and we ordered two beers and two cocktails. They didn't come out for over 30 minutes. When we ordered the food we got some appetizers, wings, and a chicken sandwich. The double fried wings we expected to wait for since they tell you it takes longer - so no biggie. But when I tell you we waited long we waited loooong. Over an hour and everything came out at once. No appetizers before our meals to keep us satisfied while we waited. And when the wings came they were cold. Not room temp but like fridge cold. I never send food back but this time I had to. I told them about this very nicely and they took the wings and gave us hot ones about 5 minutes after. They even gave us a free round on the house which was nice. The last time I went we had an issue with the chicken tenders. They came out very small and not that crispy. They told us they would give us new ones but never did and we ended up just eating the tenders we got and paying and leaving. I'm happy they made up for the mistake this time but I am worried the very slow service and continuous mistakes is going to keep me from coming back. On 8/2/25 we arrived at 6:00 pm and didn't get any food until 7:10. The food which we have had before was a huge disappointment. The bufflo wings were under cooked and rubbery. I've walked by The Front Porch many times on the way home from the train station, and for whatever reason it hasn't been open. I finally came back from New York earlier on a Thursday, and the lights were on. I walked into a warmly lit dining room with a cozy feel. It was time to check out these double fried wings I've read rave reviews about. I took a seat at the bar, and was greeted warmly. Purse hooks were under the counter. Love that. Jesse the bartender took my beer order, a Brix City- Set Break IPA, and it was good. He made some food suggestions, but said the wings were a favorite, so it reaffirmed my choice. You can get 5 or 10. I'm not a fan of wet sauces on wings, so I went for 10- half Cajun and half lemon pepper, both dry rub. If you're going for a single fry it's a 20 minute wait. If you want double fried as I did, it's 30 minutes. I put my order in and relaxed while perusing the menu. I thought I'd balance out the fried food with something green so I ordered the Brussels sprouts. They arrived pretty fast, but they too, are fried, crispy & delicious. It was going to be a night of pure indulgence. I scoped out my neighbor's dishes while I waited. One ordered the Guinness Burger and the other the Birria Ramen. Both looked amazing. They're regulars so I'd trust their opinions. My wings came out, and Jesse brought me a few different sauces to try. Let me just say I've eaten many chicken wings over my lifetime, but these were special. So crispy, so tasty, so juicy. Time slowed down. The maple bacon sauce was fantastic. So were the chili, the ranch, and the blue cheese. I sat and savored six wings, which were huge. Took four home and reheated them in the toaster. They were just as good the next day.
