The udon tasted like udon cup noodle, the yaki udon tasted like tonkatsu sauce. The bulgogi box was alright but bland, the tonkatsu was salty as well. Came in on a Saturday evening for a nice sushi dinner. the miso soup, seaweed salad (which was not your traditional sushi seaweed salad), spicy rice to start was a unique touch. went with the spicy scallop roll, wayne roll (seemed to be the only cucumber wrapped roll on the menu), and the sashimi platter, and fish was very fresh. the mochi at the end was a nice touch as well. overall really solid spot read more

I went here with a friend for lunch, for an appetizer they give you a small bowl of the Japanese equivalent of porridge, which certainly drums up an an appetite! We went on to order our rolls, mine being a Dancing shrimp, an eel, and an Edward. The dancing shrimp, although a little hard to eat, was savory, zesty with the wasabi, and the tempura flake added a delightful crunch. The eel and avacado in my second roll was fresh and refreshingly simple. The Edward roll is what sets this place apart and will forever be my staple here. Don't waste your money. As soon as you walk into the place it smells like a deep fryer. I ordered the shrimp & vegetable Tempura. The shrimp looked like it was delivered by Sysco food service or the stuff you buy from Costco preformed to look exactly the same. The Miso soup was ok, the salad was a little weird. Took a few bites of the shrimp could not eat it. I have been to some great sushi restaurants priced the same that is so superior this place is a total waste of your money. I really dislike places that have nonsense rules in place. I got the sushi combo lunch special. It's spicy tuna/California/tuna roll. I asked for 2 spicy tuna instead of the one tuna roll. I HAD to be billed a dollar for this change. I'm making it easier for you to make this lunch bud just having to do another spicy tuna roll. I asked: "it costs a dollar to add spicy to the tuna?" For that dollar, I will never be back here. I spent $20 for lunch. At $19 I would return. Silly. Also, playing trap music on the overhead speakers that repeatedly include the N-word in a sushi place is off-putting. You expect me to have my kids in here with this nonsense? Being my namesake restaurant, I had to check this place out and it did not disappoint. Despite being named as a sushi restaurant, we enjoyed the Korean food most. The gop dol bi bim bap in a clay pot with thin sliced beef was excellent. Would highly recommend and would definitely order again on a return trip. We also split a sushi lunch special, which came with a good mix of 8 pieces (including octopus, smoked salmon, egg, etc. - no two the same) and a roll of our choice. Sushi was fresh, but pieces were a bit on the small side. The kids were happy with their meals too - lunch boxes with salmon teriyaki and chicken bulgogi. And we had to get up after 15m to request a check. So they do say caveat emptor. I ordered two rolls for pickup and the total was $27.70 which is fine. 48 hours later, my credit card company lets me know they noticed I tipped 43% and is that right? I never tipped a dime and ordered it, picked it up myself and was handed the bag. What were they talking about? I checked my credit card and they charged me after I left the additional 43% overcharge. Why? It can't just be a mistake as I have the original receipt and suddenly somewhere somehow mysteriously behind the curtain a tip was added to my credit card bill. I had to call and was finally given the credit, but not before I was told this happens often, etc. This is really not a cool way to run a business in my opinion. read more

Yummy Yummy! This was really a good find on a day when I was not really sure what I wanted to eat for lunch. I can speak for everything on the menu but I can speak for what I had for lunch today. The Dumpling Soup I was honestly very surprised at how flavorful every part of the dish was. For $3.95, it's not a large portion, but it is good enough for hold you over until your meal arrives. The broth was really amazing and robust in flavor and the dumpling had a very pleasant texture. Sushi They gave us a complimentary roll, but they never told us the name of it, so I am not able to. I took a picture with my review, its the one that looks like its in a spring roll wrapping. I called it a sushi salad because that's what it looked like to me. It was really good and nice surprise. My favorite of all the rolls we had today was the Fire roll. It was great and so many levels. I only wished that it had a little heat to it. The broth in the udon was sweet and savory pairing with the soft crunch of tempura shrimp an amazing soup. The bento box is AMAZING. Don't be fooled by the name, Lee's is much more than just sushi. They have a very good selection of Korean soups and dishes. On my most recent visit, I decided on the kalbee tang (or galbitang). The soup was excellent and had a very healthy portion of very tender beef short rib in it. The soup also has the usual glass noodles, green onion, radish and egg. The restaurant was packed when I got there around 1pm on a Thursday but I was able to get a seat at the sushi counter immediately. It didn't feel like the service was any slower than usual as I got my banchan and soup very quickly.
