Went with a group of 7 for all-you-can-eat sushi and had one of the worst dining experiences I've…read morehad in a long time. We waited about 35 minutes to be seated and were sat around 8:00 PM. We ordered immediately, but by 9:00 PM we had only received one miso soup, a small portion of teriyaki, and a few drinks (which themselves took 20-30 minutes to arrive). No sushi or other food ever came out, despite the restaurant only having around 10 tables. After waiting over an hour with essentially no food, we decided to leave. We still left $50 to cover what little we received. As we were leaving, staff came outside yelling at us, which was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I understand restaurants can get busy, but the lack of service, communication, and the way we were treated at the end was unacceptable. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Poke Express in Fair Lawn is absolutely amazing when it comes to food quality and freshness…read more Everything tastes incredibly fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, and they offer tons of gluten-free options, which is a huge plus and not always easy to find. The ingredients are high quality, and you can really taste the difference. One tip: go in knowing what you want to order. The staff and owner are passionate and energetic, which is great, but it can feel a bit overwhelming if you're not prepared--especially since it's a very fast-paced environment. Once you get past that initial rush, it's smooth sailing. The value here is excellent. A poke bowl runs about $15-$17, and you get a large, filling portion--honestly enough for two meals. For the quality, freshness, and portion size, that price is more than fair. Overall, this is a spot I highly recommend. Incredible food, great gluten-free options, and solid pricing make it well worth the visit. Just come in ready, move fast, and enjoy some top-notch poke.

Oy vey. Never again…read more So baffled by the 4-5 star ratings this place has. PSA to all - don't believe the hype behind those reviews. This place is pretty bad. Got the General Tso's lunch special. The chicken was some of the most inedible chicken I've ever had. Legit felt like I was chewing rubber. The "fried rice" it came with was literally just yellow (not flavorful at all) rice. There wasn't one single piece of vegetable or egg found in the fried rice. It's appalling they would even call what they gave me "fried rice". The chicken egg roll it came with did not have a single piece of chicken in it either, but I guess that's not a bad thing considering how bad their General Tso's chicken was. Anyways, Adios Halal.

We all ordered the chicken teriyaki that comes with rice, spring roll and drink for $7, as well as the chicken and broccoli. Great price and the food was pretty good and not greasy like some other places. We also tried out the shrimp tempura roll and eel and avocado roll. I've definitely had better sushi but it was still decent and enough to satisfy a small craving. Also, can't complain too much when the roll was only $4.75. Our total order was over $40 so we also received a free order of general tso which was actually pretty tasty. Overall, pretty decent Asian spot. I'd order from here again.

The sushi was fresh and the fish portion was generous - my rolls were popping out! The Crispy Szechuan Orange Beef was quite flavorful - more sweet than spicy - but still delicious. What really sets Nam's apart is how much the owners seem to genuinely care. They were so warm and welcoming, gave us extra dishes to try, and even brought out desserts for us. Those little unexpected touches made the whole experience feel more like being welcomed into someone's favorite restaurant than just going out for sushi. There are also so many choices that it's the kind of place where you can keep coming back and still find something different to order. My dad especially loves it.
