My boyfriend and I ordered Oh My Sushi on Ubereats and were so pleasantly surprised!! The sushi was delicious and they followed all my order notes (allergies and preferences). Holds up with delivery unlike some other sushi places. It's not the freshest or the best but it's not too expensive and definitely hits the spot. Five stars because they listened to all my notes and it was still tasty. The seared and torched rolls are so yummy! Would order from here again. read more

My goodness, this is the place to go. They had a lot of to go orders going out, and I understand why. Service was fast and food was delicious. Definitely a little place to go to. I recommend the combos or even the specialty rolls that has smoked salmon. The Godzilla roll was super fresh as well. The shop is cute and has nice twinkling lights and a very clean. read more

Sushi is good and fresh. My only gripe was that the tempura platter wasn't actually tempura. It was more of a fried sampler. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered it. Service is good and they're pretty quick. They have great lunch specials which I've gotten before. read more

This gas quickly become my favorite local sushi spot. The food is always good! I love how consistent they are so I never worry when I try something new. The sushi is fresh and very fairly priced. I usually order take out and the order is always ready very promptly. No aimlessly waiting for food. There's a few tables to sit and eat at. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I recommend coming for a quick dinner and then walking around Main Street after. Can't go wrong with that! read more

Sadly, the Boonton train runs only slightly more often than the Polar Express. This was a staycation excursion (only possible on weekdays) more focused on scenery than food. Even without hours of advance research, it worked out well. The Little Falls Special delivered a knockout assortment of flavors and textures. If you're not morally opposed to "deep-fried" as an adjective in the sushi genre check it out. And if you've become jaded about "spicy mayo" after seeing at countless Gen Z sushi biurrito spots, tea shops with sidelines in poke bowls and maybe even Target, the fiery, complex concoction here may get you to reconsider. Service was friendly; the Uber Eats pickup was quick. read more

Oh no. Based on the high review ratings on Uber Eats and the mostly positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to choose Oh My Sushi for takeout last night. I went with a variety order of: Unagi Don Spicy Tuna Roll Spicy Yellowtail Roll Salmon Avocado Roll I'll start off with the positive and say the Unagi Don was the highlight. They offered a fair portion of eel and if I ever chose to order from here again I'd consider it. Unfortunately, the sushi didn't live up to the expectations. The Spicy Yellowtail was probably my biggest disappointment; there was no heat or spice that I noticed about it. The Spicy Salmon and Salmon Avocado Rolls were OK but it's very hard to knock them unless the fish quality was off. The fish quality was fine but the two big knocks I had against the sushi was the rice and portion size. The rice was ice cold and the portion sizes were small. When you pay a good chunk of money for lunch or dinner, there is a certain amount of expectation when it comes to quality control. On this particular encounter, I felt that Oh My Sushi fell short. read more

Great for take out! The portion sizes are fair for the price and the salmon is fresh- which is my main focus at any sushi restaurant. I also really like that they can substitute brown rice for white. The sake don salmon slices were inconsistently cut- but for $18.95 I'll happily take the value. I've seen much worse in other NJ sushi spots in the area... Taking off one star because their $5 dollar salad (refer to picture) is a huge rip off. It's the same size as the typical free salads you would get with a sushi/sashimi combo...but for $5... read more

I cannot believe this place got 4.5 stars within 148 reviews. I'm not a fine dining expert, but I am a decent cook, a foodie and an avid sushi lover. Been eating sushi before it got popular in the US in the late 90s/early 2000s. And have eaten it in Japan. I don't know if they were having a bad night or a new chef or what. I got several pieces of sushi, apps, and rolls. The tuna was inedible. Good fresh raw tuna has a very distinct taste. This had almost no taste and the texture was awful. I also got a spicy yellowtail roll, which I get whenever and wherever I get sushi. I have ZERO idea what spicy sauce that was, but it does not even qualify as a "version" of a spicy sauce on sushi. I was very confused by this given that some pictures of the food show what I expected. This sauce was red more than orange, and it tasted terrible. It was also just put on top of the sushi roll, rather than mixed into the yellowtail. And, also, inedible. I also got the special Viagra roll. I was amused by the name until I tasted it. This review is long enough so I won't go into details. Ultimately, I only ate one piece as it was also an edible. I also got edamame, which felt mushy and over cooked. Aside from the salmon, the avocado roll, I got was good, as were the gyozo veggie dumplings which I got steamed instead of fried. I'm very very disappointed. I spent a lot of money for myself, and a friend and more than half of the food went in the garbage. It was my first time here and obviously my last. My friend agreed with all of my assessments. read more

I had many sushi rolls from various restaurants and Oh My Sushi has definitely been the BEST that I've had. Fresh, delicious and flavorful sushi at a great price. To my surprise this place was a hole in a wall type. Upon entry you can tell they're a well loved restaurant. There were photos of their customers dining and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The true definition of a great hole in the wall sushi restaurant. I don't know what makes the miso soup so delicious, but it honestly tastes better than any other miso soup I've ever tasted. The shumai appetizer, "U1-Special" special roll, and (according to my dad) the lunch special chicken teriyaki bento box were all super yummy. I chose this place because of the overall 4.5-star rating, but I didn't read any of the reviews prior to dining. After reading that the owner does it all, I'm even more impressed! Don't let the location and interior fool you. This place is so good! I can't wait to come back. read more

Restaurants that charge you for things that are implied to be complimentary get an automatic 1 star review on Yelp from me. In this case, upon sitting down, the sole waiter, who was busy and preoccupied with the other tables asked while passing by if I'd like water and green tea. I said "sure". There was no mention that there was a charge for the tea. If I had been told that, I would have declined. I don't like green tea enough to pay for a cup of it. I only thought to ask when I saw there was a teabag in the cup set before me. That's when I was told there was a charge. This really left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended), and it made me decide to leave. I paid them for the green tea that I didn't drink and I left, and they seemed ok with that. The sushi may be very good here, I never got to find out, but business ethics are a big deal for me, so I won't be going back... and I'm sure they're ok with that too. read more

Sushi set for 2 comes with miso soup. Their price is pretty cheap. I would say quality is aligned with the price as well. Sushi quality is ok. Salmon and shrimp are better than the others. The rolls are pretty good. I think it's a good set if you want a quick sushi dinner. If you want a good sushi dinner, this place is not it. To be honest, price is very reasonable so I don't have complaints. read more

Had the experience to dine in and watch on busy Friday , The service IMPECCABLE. The two women black hair and the other with curly bigger hair was absolutely stunning and very attentive even though it was super busy, I've never seen young girls work this hard , take the phone orders pack to go orders , deal with rude uber and door dash workers and still be able maintain a wonderful attitude. While on the owners hand I would say he is the luckiest business owner around he must be more then blind . He is rude , loud and obnoxious. He called these girls disgusting names while these ladies are working so hard as he sits and laughs in another language with his own kind behind the sushi bar . Shame on him if he truly believes this is how a business is ran , The food you can tell he has been purchasing cheaper fish , i've came here for a long time but whatever , truthfully i'm just disgusted by his behavior to hard working women . i read the review written by a fellow yelper/reviewer , I can certainly back her up on that one , yelling in young ladies faces and putting his hand up i've personally seen myself. Almost forgot how i must add, the owner takes the servers tips and i saw him put it in his own pocket , how nice of him . The only reason this establishment receives one star is because of the service i received, Not knowing i'm just handing more money over to the owner RIDICULOUS if you ask me . read more

Love this spot! There are other places around and I always choose them. They are super friendly, clean, and the sushi is incredible. I highly recommend. Plus one of the things I love the most about this place other than the fact you could see it's family owned and they stuck it through the covid closures together, is that as soon as business picked up they called all their employees back, and they never took items off the menu, even though most big corporations did. Once you try their extensive menu, you will be hooked. read more

I'm a picky eater only when it comes to sushi. Oh My Sushi is one of the few sushi places on Uber eats with the most SR variety so I decided to give it a chance and I'm glad I did! The rolls were good and tasteful. The rice to sushi proportion was on point. I wasn't a fan of the spicy mayo (not creamy) but the soy sauce tasted different in a good way. After all the other sushi places were full or closed, we decided to visit Oh My Sushi. It was our first time visiting this restaurant, but we were glad we did. Tables and space were at a premium. Possibly because they converted the sushi bar to a work counter. The price was a little higher than what we expected but the fish tasted fresh. The yellowtail melted in your mouth. The nori was not stale. Service was a little slow but very friendly. I was impressed by the quality of the food. Don't get me wrong, it's not Nobu quality but still satisfied. Ordered Oh My Sushi for the first time tonight through Uber Eats and it was absolutely wonderful! Not only was the food good, but the service was great. I usually don't try new sushi places because I am a bit picky with my sushi but I will 100% order from here again!! Food was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Also, the service put a smile on my face. Let me start by stating that if your menu list "crab" as an ingredient than it should be just that, crab and not "KRAB." Maybe it doesn't matter to some people but their "crab" is the imitation junk you find in a bag at Shoprite for $3.99. Nothing about it is crab. If you're going to buy a "beef burger" and learn there's no beef in it that's plain wrong. Are their rolls otherwise decent? Sure but we're never again ordering anything from here with KRAB in the sushi roll. read more

All I have to say is wooooow! This was my first time trying Oh My Sushi and I am so impressed. First off, the presentation is beautiful. Second, the quality of the food is amazing. You can tell everything is fresh. Finally, they have fast delivery and great customer service. They included a miso soup in our order "on the house." During times like these (covid-19) and being quarantined, that was the most surprising thing I saw in this order. Today, travel for work didn't suck but the traffic in Jersey did. Stopped in here for a quick sushi lunch special and it was so fresh, I ordered a couple pieces more. The simpler lunch with salmon and a couple additional unagi were fresh as hell. Even the Edemame was perfectly steamed. Made the day not suck. And that is saying so their on a gray winter day.
