The Boys are back !!! Today I took the Boys to Nori Sushi in Wayne. Spectacular !!! A big thanks to June for providing us with excellent service and some spot on suggestions that I may have missed. I ordered to whole meal for the table and WOW. Appetizers: Sate Beef (sliced sirloin in Malaysian BBQ sauce). , Agedashi Tofu (deep fried Tofu with Dasi sauce), Yam Yam Eel , OMG , (fried sweet potato with crispy eel and spicy sauce). Then our ship came in. It included the following: Mexican Shrimp Roll, Mango Shrimp Roll, Yose Roll, Soprano's Roll ( each piece had a different topping). I had to order two more rolls: Tako Su (octopus) and Lou's favorite of the day...Pepper Tuna with Kiwi and Mango. Each dish was a new experience as Nori's Chefs prepare everything in their own style . Fabulous !! We finished our meal with Mochi- Vanilla, Green Tea and Mango. We can't wait to return !! read more

The whole experience is average. If you are hungry and are not necessarily set on higher quality than this place if fine. You won't get sick. Service is not very good but the atmosphere is fine. Would eat here again in a pinch. read more

We ordered take out. My husband was greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk. She asked about his day and if we ( his family) were safe and healthy. She REALLY made his day! The sushi was delicious! The noodles were spot on for my very picky 11 years old daughter. The shrimp tempura was "yummy" in our tummies. My daughter drank the entire dipping sauce. BTW, it was light and not salty at all. Overall, we enjoyed every single item including the soup and salad. My daughter kept saying " I had a good dinner" which is rare for her to comment. Came here for weekday lunch and everything was great! Restaurant is relatively small but is a nice date spot and has a well-themed atmosphere. I ordered edamame and the Maki C which comes with Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon, and Spicy California rolls, miso soup, and ginger salad. The edamame and sushi were both fresh and tasty. All protocols are followed and we felt very safe my only complaint is I wish the told us/ adjusted the price for the things they didn't offer because they said of covid. No chips before sushi and the love boat comes with dessert but because of covid was told it didn't at this time. Really? Why? Makes no sense to me at all. A 'go-to' spot long before COVID-19, a bright spot for take-out during the pandemic, and now it is great to be back in person. Yummy sushi, reasonably priced. Perfect for a casual weeknight byob date night. We split an assortment of rolls, which were delicious and the fish was very fresh. Service was friendly and efficient. We stayed mostly with the regular rolls (yellowtail, salmon and eel) and we tried on specialty roll. I can't remember the name of the special roll, but it was spicy without being so spicy that you cannot taste the fish. The four rolls, along with a seaweed salad and a tempura ice-cream for dessert, came to about $50. Very reasonable for a three course meal. The decor is unique - lots of old artifacts including restaurant menus, nautical equipment and signs. Makes you feel like you're transported to a seaside town. read more

She saw i was pregnant and let me know how carefully my food was handled. Place is cutely decorated and they have a hand sanitizing station. Food was perfectly packed. My family has been coming to Nori way before the Sopranos made it a local hot spot! Nori is a great sushi spot in Wayne with a private lot in front. The decor is along the lines of fisherman chic with fish nets and fish on the walls along with photos of Tony Soprano mixed in, haha. The staff are wonderful and always welcome by family by name. They give you those hot towels for your hands and also these amazing chip things that we usually devour before even ordering. BYOB and they always have ice buckets on hand. Red and yellow, Orange Dragon, Spicy Two in One, and Sexy are my favorite rolls. If you're feeling really aggressive go for the Love Boat. My S.O. and father split that once and couldn't eat for days, they were so stuffed. Overall great local sushi spot, even with the celebrity the quality has remained! read more

My wife and I have been eating here for many years. We life in town. Last week we went to Nori. I had the sushi deluxe. Very disappointed in the California roll. Not finished properly, roll look used. Then I took a piece of tuna. It looked a little off color but I took it anyway.I literally had to spit it out. It tasted really bad. I did not try the other 2 pieces. I mentioned it to the waitress and she left and a minute later returned with the owner. She was very defensive and said it's fresh daily and they tasted it. I've been here on several different occasions and I've always had a good experience. Fresh sushi, byob, and friendly service. Hands down my favorite sushi restaurant! It's become a Valentine's Day tradition for my fiancé and I. It's in a little unassuming strip of businesses, but it's so cute inside and a perfect atmosphere for a sushi restaurant! The staff is always so nice and on top of things service-wise. We always go the same route of getting miso soup, splitting gyoza as an appetizer and then sharing 4-5 rolls. This most recent visit was probably the best combo of 5 special rolls that we've ever had here! The donkey Kong roll, Godzilla, krazy big, orange dragon, and mango spider (I hope I got all the names right!). I'm a big fan of spicy tuna so I always think the krazy big roll is the best. But the fried banana on top of the donkey Kong roll is also to die for. Being BYOB makes it really affordable and it's honestly just so worth the trip every year. read more

Nori sushi is a really like place to have a quiet dinner. The atmosphere is so comforting, and the service is amazing. I'm not a big sushi eater, but they have plenty of options for everyone. I ordered a side of gyoza. They are filled with pork and are pan fried. For my meal I ordered hibachi filet mignon. This dish came with noodles, vegetables and white rice. The filet had a very good flavor. It wasn't mediocre at all. The only thing that I didn't like about the dish was how greasy the noodles were, but I still ate them because they were still pretty delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. It's not located in the best area, but it's seemed to be quite busy, which is good. There is plenty of parking in the lot and it's BYOB. read more

Thought it was the proper way to deal with a mistake. + Located in a shopping plaza so I had no issues finding parking. - Thought the rolls were hit or miss. The Sopranos roll (Iron Chef Roll menu) was pretty good but FYI - not great for sharing. Very large pieces - each with different toppings. The Godzilla (Exotic Roll Menu) roll was very good. The Hamburg Turnpike (Exotic Roll Menu) was pretty bland. Darah's (Iron Chef Roll Menu) was not very good, IMO. Way too much mayo. It was made with mayo on top and served with mayo. My friends had the lunch special and they were happy with their selection. I had a few rolls. Rainbow roll, tuna avocado and eel roll. They were good. What an amazing place! The sushi was super fresh and probably the best sushi I've ever had ! Me and my fiancé ordered the sushi and sashimi for 2 and the soprano roll. That soprano roll was incredible every roll was a different bite and all delicious. The sushi and sashimi for 2 came With a soup and salad we had miso soup and salad with creamy dressing. The Thai ice teas were good as well. The service was great, our waiter even gave us tips on how to keep our sushi fresh if we weren't going to eat it tonight (which we did Bc it was so good) definitely want to come back and try the different rolls they have to offer. This isn't my favorite place for sushi but it's also not my least favorite. The lunch specials are definitely worth it. Large selection and plenty of food. Rolls are generally tasty. I just can't get over the dim, dark, and dingy atmosphere. I understand the Sopranos feel but it leaves much to be desired and is a little off-putting . I feel as if the quality and freshness of the sushi could be improved. I always find myself questioning how fresh the fish really is.
