    7. Sunset Roll
    Mike M.

4 years later and still a great local sushi spot. I got the lunch special, Butler Roll (my go to) and the Sunset roll. Both are bursting with flavor and filling. Notice the fish to rice ratio. This is a sign of a good sushi spot. One disappointing thing is the main dining room is still not open. You cant even look inside. Seems odd

Such a nice restaurant! The service is amazing & the food is phenomenal! Very sweet staff & they dress up the plates very well. Definitely recommended this spot.

    Pork Katsu Ramen, very yummy.

Went there when it first opened. We ordered the Pork Katsu ramen and a sushi roll with shrimp tempura, avocado and eel. The ramen broth was very rich and delicious, the host/waitress told me that they make the broth in house. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Overall a good bowl of soup on a rainy day. The sushi roll was good, the rice a good consistency. Will have to return for the rest of the sushi menu. Give it a try! I'm glad there's another comparable sushi place in town.

BBQ Chicken Wings (Sauce came on the side, they didn't get soggy!)

just wow.. I almost don't know where to start. The Chicken Ramen is out of this world, I've ordered probably about three of them within the past month and it's always so fresh and consistent. Tonight I wanted to finally try just some basic rolls (Cali & Spicy Tuna) and asked for a small side of some eel sauce to go with it - amazing!! Actually the best spicy tuna roll i've ever had, the spicy isn't over the top, it's subtle and gets the point across but is more flavor spicy than heat spicy (LOVE IT), and the avocado in the cali roll was so fresh, it made the whole thing. Boyfriend tried their wings and said they were good too, but after trying my sushi- we already decided we want to order again later in the week for lunch. Thank you for your consistency & always fresh tasty food. Stole my heart, will definitely be coming here for the sushi/ramen fix! They also have been great with curbside pickup, and safe deliveries. What an amazing addition to Butler! See you very soon :)

We ordered from a touchscreen kiosk and had the food delivered in plastic containers by a robot. My daughter and I had the black garlic ramen, my wife the spicy miso, and my son the miso with the udon option (75 cents add-on to replace the ramen noodles). We also had pork gyoza and pork steam buns. The food was pretty good. It wasn't the level of some of the NYC or California ramen places that we've been to (e.g. Ippudo, or even the Edgewater Mitsuwa food court ramen--which are amazingly good). However, it was decent especially for the price and we enjoyed it. What struck us as very odd was that we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. Why was a well-reviewed, fairly good place like this not without a single other customer during prime dinner time (6 to 630pm on a Sunday night)? Complete mystery--hoping it's an anomaly as we need good places like this to stay open.

Turns out drive by here all the time so why not finally try!? I ordered the Tonkotsu Shio Ramen with extra pork + egg along with the Pan Fried Pork Buns and Yasai (veggie) Gyoza. The bowl of ramen is big enough for two people so I made it last for dinner and leftover lunch the next day. The pan fried pork buns were my FAVE! There were 3 of them and pretty sizable! The gyoza was okay - next time I won't get the veggie option. Pretty reasonable pricing, it was approx $30 for all of this. All in all, I'd order here again!

As far as the food goes, my husband and I both agree that it's good and worthy of a re-visit in the future however, it wasn't blow your socks off! I got the chicken ramen and I literally got two pieces of chicken in my ramen....i was definitely expecting more than that. My husband got the chicken chashu and he said it was a solid option. I want to be so clear that this five star review is based off of our fantastic server, Yosef. He was so friendly, so personable and an overall pleasant worker! He made conversation with us and made sure we had everything we needed to have the best experience. Nowadays, people are so unfriendly and just there to collect a check. JINYA, you are very lucky to have a worker of this nature! Thank you for making our dinner a great experience. We will gladly be back in the future to try another dish and hopefully get the same wonderful customer service.

(But each statement is said, and meant, with sincerity.) It's large (high ceilings adding to the 'wow factor'). It has a great look and vibe. The entire staff are profusely positive. As for the ramen... the broth was chock-a-block with flavor and veggies and noodles and a whole array of goodies (black oil, crispy garlic nubs, creamy tofu, you name it). The Mrs. (who is the real connoisseur when it comes to ramen, I'm just a wannabe) thought the portion was a bit on the 'wimpy' side (for the price) but I was content. (We arrived at the tail-end of happy hour, so maybe I was a bit more forgiving since the bill wasn't as bad as it could've-would've been.)

For lunch, I tried the shoyu ramen with a soft boiled egg and side of spicy oil. The broth was light and flavorful. The chashu was very tender and seared nicely. The shoyu came with straight noodles instead of wavy, but it was still good. The bowl had menma, as well as red and green onions. I enjoyed the bowl so much, we went back for dinner the same day. For dinner, I tried the shio ramen, which was basically the same thing, but with a sea salt tare instead of soy sauce. I also got wavy noodles this time and I definitely prefer the wavy noodles. Once again, it came with red and green onion, which i think is a bit overpowering. I would get just green onion next time. The family/couple sets seem to be a great deal. I would definitely return.

The big snow storm happened weeks ago, and yet the parking lot had less spots because the snow was piled up on top of them, so we had to maneuver our way into a "made up" spot instead. I had the Korean Kimchi soup ($17), a fabulous concoction of ramen noodles in a slightly spicy miso broth served with spam, kimchi, a soft-boiled egg, bamboo, wood-ear mushrooms, and corn. My dining companion had the Tokyo Chicken soup ($16) with udon noodles in a slightly spicy miso broth served with sliced teriyaki chicken, a soft-boiled egg, bamboo, wood-ear mushrooms, and corn. My carb-conscious dining companion seemed mildly surprised the chicken filet in her soup was breaded, rather than grilled.. but adjusted expectations accordingly. Both soups were served quickly and were fantastic. The portion sizes of our soups were very filling and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Parking is available in the front AND back of the building. The parking lot in front of the building facing NJ Route 10 can fill up quickly, but there is plenty of space in the parking lot behind the building and there are entrances in the front and back of the building.
