Place is a 2.5 star. All the 5 star reviews are years old. I have been an avid fan of this place for years and UNFORTUNATELY it is under new ownership and the quality has gone down. It's just not the same! Looks to be the same menu and ingredients but the people making it have changed and it's just not as good. As many other reviewers after me have correctly pointed out, if you want fresh and well-made sushi in the Tri-Boro area and surrounding towns, Circle Farm Sushi is the best option, if you are willing to pick it up and bring it home to enjoy it. I'm not sure if there are new owners but everything has completely changed. This used to be one of my favorite places for grab and go sushi because of the quality and the people who worked there were always very kind. The sushi is lower quality now. I got a spicy tuna roll which had parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of it, I've never seen that before and it was unpleasant to eat. I also got a salmon roll which had a bone in it. I stopped in here after being asked to pick up some soup for a coworker who was feeling a bit under the weather and decided I should probably pick something up for myself as well. Circle Farm is a supermarket that also happens to have a deli and sushi station that is run seperatly from the Circle Farm supermarket apparently. The sushi is made fresh as soon as you order it and for the money the quality is there as well as the portion sizes. My sushi was fresh and tasted really delicious. Everything is fresh and they are very friendly at the counter. They always have fresh to-go items at-the-ready or, if you call in your order ahead of time and it will be ready for you. My FAVORITE place to get spicy tuna rolls. Their spicy tuna is indescribably good. I order it once a week and crave it much more often. It is not a place where you can sit down and eat, but they have reasonably priced, delicious sushi, and are very friendly. Call your order in about 10-15 minutes in advance for quickest service. This will be the second year in a row I am ordering a sushi platter as an appetizer to our Thanksgiving meal. My family LOVES sushi and last year we were not disappointed at all with the quantity and freshness of the party platter.
