Second visit which was just as consistent and delicious as the first Kris took great care of us - and I must add we watched her deal most diplomatically with a disrespectful pick-up driver who was insulting and rude. Kris handled her perfectly and is a credit to the restaurant- thank you again. Note: I love the Shichimi on the table - makes this truly authentic

When you put the directions the parking lot is on the side of the restaurant across the street ,in front of the domino's. Though it was a little rustic inside and its very small, it's not fancy whatsoever. I'm picking up so hopefully the reviews about the food are on point! I walked in and the young cashier girl asked me if she could help me right away. My order was already at the register. Inside the restaurant there were 2 tables sat. Not busy at all. So pick up was in and out! Well...I got home and unpacked my order. I the packaging was great you'll see the picture below. But the edamame caught my eye, it wasn't a bright green. Then the pork buns caught my eye sauce was everywhere, the broth looked good and so did the add ins. I started with pork buns the sauce usually put on top was a little too much and it made it a messy eat. The taste was good. Then I went for the edamame....this is what I was looking forward to nibbling on. It had an off color than what edamame usually looks like. I took the 1st bite and it wasn't what I expected. Felt like it was passed its time and when they steamed it , it became squishy. So sadly I pushed it away. Now I figured I'd try the Ramen. I ordered the Tonkotsu with Pork chashu and thin ramen noodles. The broth and add ins were good, but a bit bland. The Ajitama egg gave it a small punch of flavor. There was white onion in it which out of all the Ramen experiences this was the 1st one I ate with white onion. The description said it would have sauteed kombu ....I looked for it there was none and kombu is dark soooo you'd see it right away. All in all it was an ok experience. I had just gotten out of work and was really excited for Japanese today but i guess it was not meant for me today. I do recommend this restaurant if you are a beginner in exploring into Japanese ramen, and see what it's about. The flavors are mild and wont intimidate. And if you're happy with that then level up to other Ramen experiences. I hope you all enjoy it

Surprising is the varied menu, from JapNeze & Korean appetizers, to Japanese & Korean entrees. . .as well as Poké bowls! Being a fan of Korean food, I ordered the tteok booking, an appy of thin, small rice cakes (about the size if your pinky) in a spicy saymuce. The rice cakes were good, but the sauce tasted very commercial and overly sweet. My other choice was spicy Kirean noodles which I found a bit gummy and with the identical sauce used with the appetizer. There is no ambiance to speak of. Lots if anime-relsted doodads and a band of Japanese writing (which I determined was their menu) on poorly done characters. Despite the disappointments, I'm determined to have their ramen. There's a good selection, and I'm still curious.

Took a trip to Mr. Ramen to satisfy a late-night (aka 9:30ish lol) ramen craving because no other options in the area were open. We both got the tonkatsu ramen and Thai iced tea bubble tea. We originally asked for water thinking we'd get tap water, but they only provide bottled water at this time. Unfortunately, the ramen broth had no flavor and neither did the pork. Even a good sear on the pork would've made it tastier. Our bowls were inconsistent too. My boyfriend got 2 small cobs of corn in his broth and I only got a few kernels as pictured. The Thai iced tea was good momentarily until the ice started watering it down. If you come here and order bubble tea, make sure to ask for no ice or less ice to prevent this from happening. Parking was limited on the side of the building in the lot, but since we went late, we had no issues. On the bright side, our waitress was really nice and the interior of the restaurant was pretty clean. There are way better ramen spots nearby and if my craving arises again, I'll go elsewhere even if it means waiting until the next day when a better spot is open.

Love coming to Mr. Ramen when I am craving ramen but don't want to drive super far to get it. My go-to menu item would definitely be the Pork Tonkatsu ramen. The ramen is flavorful, broth is rich, pork is juicy & tender. You also get a nice portion size for the price. Pre-COVID, I usually do indoor dining but during this pandemic, I've done take-out. They do a great job on packaging the takeout orders, nothing leaked on my way home. They are taking safety measures by limiting the indoor dining capacity (by removing tables and making sure there is adequate space). Staff is very nice, the employee kept apologizing that my order wasn't ready by the time I got there. I'm reading some of the reviews here and I'm just taken aback by some of the negative comments. Restaurants are trying to do their best during this difficult time, what is an additional 10-15 minutes wait going to do to you? You're not going to die of starvation, please be a little more patient and understanding. Look on the bright side, if its not ready by the time you get there, at least you know your food is going to be super hot and fresh when you finally get to eat it. I highly recommend Mr. Ramen to anyone in the area (its the perfect meal for any cold/rainy day). Just a note, they also have a parking lot on the side which is always a plus.

The food is absolutely amazing. It is authentic food. This is a hidden gem. Service was amazing. Any questions that I had were answered. The ambiance is amazing. The restaurant has so many things to look at from different Japanese figurines to books you can read while you eat. A definite place to go to when in the area. I am out here for work and would definitely be going back.

This place has to be on its way out the way that they skimp out and completely disregard their own menu. I ordered $14 of spicy noodles which was completely different from what was listed on their menu, they didn't have half of the stuff it was advertised as and they just threw it on top of giant pieces of romaine lettuce. The laziest and saddest excuse for noodles I've ever seen. The corn from the ramen was pathetic too. Avoid this place, they're so cheap

Kept driving by this place several times and finally had the opportunity to go done there. They've changed up the decor quite a bit from back when it was a deli. Looks nice and spacious with white table cloths and comfy booths. I don't know if they were just having an off day or if it's always like this but the food was not that great. I'm hoping this was a one time situation bc it's nice to have a variety of food options. The coconut chicken was pretty good but heavily battered. The whole wheat noodles in the soup did not sit well with me. Everyone had upset stomachs the next day, though that could be bc of the bubble tea which was simply disgusting. The tapioca wasn't cooked completely and the mango flavor tasted like chalk. The taro bubble tea tasted like powdered milk was used and the consistency was too thick.

Ordered from here for dinner the other night. I got the kalifornia poke bowl, coconut crab tempura, and a watermelon bubble tea. was all delicious. Flavor was amazing. Will order from there again, without a doubt.

Came here for the first time with my younger brother. The pork gyoza was good and very tasty! We got the chicken gyozas and we would definitely recommend them! We both ended up getting Tonkotsu ramen and overall it was good ramen. The egg was somewhat runny. The broth was decent overall but I wish I got thicker noodles, that was my mistake. The service was awesome!! Overall, we'd recommend this spot!

I've been wanting to try this place since it opened and I'm so happy I did! There aren't many ramen places in this area, so it's nice to finally have one that serves quality ramen! They have so many different options. I had the veggie ramen and it was awesome! Fried rice was good too. The pork buns left a bit to be desired, but I feel like it's hard to find good pork buns in this area anyway.

Came here for a lunch date with my best friend. She got there right at 1 to grab a table right by…read morethe lake. Beautiful view and relaxing environment to catch up at. They had lunch specials which we ordered from. I got the chicken low mein and added jumbo shrimp. She got the chicken and broccoli and added jumbo shrimp. We also ordered 2 shrimp tempura rolls. The meals came with an egg roll, salad, or soup. We got all three since we ordered three different lunch specials. We both got cocktails. The cocktails were good. The food was tasty. The service was great too minus the server taking our sushi before we were done. They have parking and they also have indoor seating.

If you're looking for a gorgeous lakeside view, Double Ai delivers. If you're looking for good…read moreservice and good food...you may want to pack a snack and a lot of patience. The outdoor seating overlooking the lake is absolutely beautiful and easily the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, the scenery ended up being our entertainment because the service certainly wasn't. From the moment we sat down, everything moved at a glacial pace. It took forever to order drinks, food, and dessert. Somewhere along the way, our server managed to bring the wrong meals, completely forget one person's meal, and then act annoyed when we politely asked where it was. Impressive...just not in the way you want. By the time we finished eating, we waited another 30 minutes just to pay the bill. Ironically, before anyone could process our payment, a staff member came over and rather obnoxiously told us we needed to vacate the table because we were done. We explained that we'd love to leave...just as soon as someone actually took our credit card. That's when the owner arrived--with attitude instead of an apology. As for the food, six people ordered six different meals, and only one person thought theirs was okay. Those aren't great odds. Dessert didn't improve things. The lava cakes arrived cold (apparently the lava was on vacation), the presentation looked like an afterthought, and we were told there was no coffee available--even though we could literally see other tables enjoying coffee. Maybe it's a secret menu item? It's a shame because the location is stunning. With better service and better food, this place could be amazing. Until then, I'd recommend grabbing a seat outside, enjoying the lake...and lowering your expectations. My ratings: * Location & View: * Service & Professionalism: If negative stars existed, they'd have earned them. * Food: * Patience Required: One final disappointment--there were no fortune cookies. So, allow me to provide the fortune you never received: "Fortune says: Go somewhere else to eat." That's one fortune I feel pretty confident will come true.
