Vegetable Ramen

Second visit which was just as consistent and delicious as the first Kris took great care of us - and I must add we watched her deal most diplomatically with a disrespectful pick-up driver who was insulting and rude. Kris handled her perfectly and is a credit to the restaurant- thank you again. Note: I love the Shichimi on the table - makes this truly authentic

When you put the directions the parking lot is on the side of the restaurant across the street ,in front of the domino's. Though it was a little rustic inside and its very small, it's not fancy whatsoever. I'm picking up so hopefully the reviews about the food are on point! I walked in and the young cashier girl asked me if she could help me right away. My order was already at the register. Inside the restaurant there were 2 tables sat. Not busy at all. So pick up was in and out! Well...I got home and unpacked my order. I the packaging was great you'll see the picture below. But the edamame caught my eye, it wasn't a bright green. Then the pork buns caught my eye sauce was everywhere, the broth looked good and so did the add ins. I started with pork buns the sauce usually put on top was a little too much and it made it a messy eat. The taste was good. Then I went for the edamame....this is what I was looking forward to nibbling on. It had an off color than what edamame usually looks like. I took the 1st bite and it wasn't what I expected. Felt like it was passed its time and when they steamed it , it became squishy. So sadly I pushed it away. Now I figured I'd try the Ramen. I ordered the Tonkotsu with Pork chashu and thin ramen noodles. The broth and add ins were good, but a bit bland. The Ajitama egg gave it a small punch of flavor. There was white onion in it which out of all the Ramen experiences this was the 1st one I ate with white onion. The description said it would have sauteed kombu ....I looked for it there was none and kombu is dark soooo you'd see it right away. All in all it was an ok experience. I had just gotten out of work and was really excited for Japanese today but i guess it was not meant for me today. I do recommend this restaurant if you are a beginner in exploring into Japanese ramen, and see what it's about. The flavors are mild and wont intimidate. And if you're happy with that then level up to other Ramen experiences. I hope you all enjoy it

Surprising is the varied menu, from JapNeze & Korean appetizers, to Japanese & Korean entrees. . .as well as Poké bowls! Being a fan of Korean food, I ordered the tteok booking, an appy of thin, small rice cakes (about the size if your pinky) in a spicy saymuce. The rice cakes were good, but the sauce tasted very commercial and overly sweet. My other choice was spicy Kirean noodles which I found a bit gummy and with the identical sauce used with the appetizer. There is no ambiance to speak of. Lots if anime-relsted doodads and a band of Japanese writing (which I determined was their menu) on poorly done characters. Despite the disappointments, I'm determined to have their ramen. There's a good selection, and I'm still curious.

Took a trip to Mr. Ramen to satisfy a late-night (aka 9:30ish lol) ramen craving because no other options in the area were open. We both got the tonkatsu ramen and Thai iced tea bubble tea. We originally asked for water thinking we'd get tap water, but they only provide bottled water at this time. Unfortunately, the ramen broth had no flavor and neither did the pork. Even a good sear on the pork would've made it tastier. Our bowls were inconsistent too. My boyfriend got 2 small cobs of corn in his broth and I only got a few kernels as pictured. The Thai iced tea was good momentarily until the ice started watering it down. If you come here and order bubble tea, make sure to ask for no ice or less ice to prevent this from happening. Parking was limited on the side of the building in the lot, but since we went late, we had no issues. On the bright side, our waitress was really nice and the interior of the restaurant was pretty clean. There are way better ramen spots nearby and if my craving arises again, I'll go elsewhere even if it means waiting until the next day when a better spot is open.

The food is absolutely amazing. It is authentic food. This is a hidden gem. Service was amazing. Any questions that I had were answered. The ambiance is amazing. The restaurant has so many things to look at from different Japanese figurines to books you can read while you eat. A definite place to go to when in the area. I am out here for work and would definitely be going back.

Love coming to Mr. Ramen when I am craving ramen but don't want to drive super far to get it. My go-to menu item would definitely be the Pork Tonkatsu ramen. The ramen is flavorful, broth is rich, pork is juicy & tender. You also get a nice portion size for the price. Pre-COVID, I usually do indoor dining but during this pandemic, I've done take-out. They do a great job on packaging the takeout orders, nothing leaked on my way home. They are taking safety measures by limiting the indoor dining capacity (by removing tables and making sure there is adequate space). Staff is very nice, the employee kept apologizing that my order wasn't ready by the time I got there. I'm reading some of the reviews here and I'm just taken aback by some of the negative comments. Restaurants are trying to do their best during this difficult time, what is an additional 10-15 minutes wait going to do to you? You're not going to die of starvation, please be a little more patient and understanding. Look on the bright side, if its not ready by the time you get there, at least you know your food is going to be super hot and fresh when you finally get to eat it. I highly recommend Mr. Ramen to anyone in the area (its the perfect meal for any cold/rainy day). Just a note, they also have a parking lot on the side which is always a plus.

This place has to be on its way out the way that they skimp out and completely disregard their own menu. I ordered $14 of spicy noodles which was completely different from what was listed on their menu, they didn't have half of the stuff it was advertised as and they just threw it on top of giant pieces of romaine lettuce. The laziest and saddest excuse for noodles I've ever seen. The corn from the ramen was pathetic too. Avoid this place, they're so cheap

Kept driving by this place several times and finally had the opportunity to go done there. They've changed up the decor quite a bit from back when it was a deli. Looks nice and spacious with white table cloths and comfy booths. I don't know if they were just having an off day or if it's always like this but the food was not that great. I'm hoping this was a one time situation bc it's nice to have a variety of food options. The coconut chicken was pretty good but heavily battered. The whole wheat noodles in the soup did not sit well with me. Everyone had upset stomachs the next day, though that could be bc of the bubble tea which was simply disgusting. The tapioca wasn't cooked completely and the mango flavor tasted like chalk. The taro bubble tea tasted like powdered milk was used and the consistency was too thick.

Ordered from here for dinner the other night. I got the kalifornia poke bowl, coconut crab tempura, and a watermelon bubble tea. was all delicious. Flavor was amazing. Will order from there again, without a doubt.

Came here for the first time with my younger brother. The pork gyoza was good and very tasty! We got the chicken gyozas and we would definitely recommend them! We both ended up getting Tonkotsu ramen and overall it was good ramen. The egg was somewhat runny. The broth was decent overall but I wish I got thicker noodles, that was my mistake. The service was awesome!! Overall, we'd recommend this spot!

Double Ai - Chicken teriyaki (served with miso soup or salad)

Double Ai is one of the most reliable places in the area when it comes to Asian cuisine. I have…read morebeen here many times and am yet to be disappointed. My personal favorite is the Ten Ingredient Noodle Soup, which always manages to fill me up. I also recently tried the General tso chicken which was coated in a delicious sauce. Overall a great family run business with kind owners, tasty eats, and a beautiful view.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had…read more Let me start by saying this is no longer a BYOB restaurant, despite giving every impression that it still is. There is no clear notice that they now have a liquor license, yet they charge a $10 corkage fee per bottle--or require one drink per person to waive the fee. This feels misleading from the start. After a long and frustrating discussion with our waitress--who couldn't clearly explain the policy--a man (who never identified himself as a manager or in any official role) came over. Even after more back-and-forth, the policy remained unclear until we were told definitively: one drink per person to waive the cork fee. By that point, we had already purchased a drink. We decided to stay, as we've dined here many times before without issues. Unfortunately, things only got worse. We specifically asked for our appetizers and entrees to be timed separately. Instead, our main courses arrived while we were still halfway through our appetizers. Then came the biggest issue: the beef teriyaki. The meat was inedible--extremely undercooked, with a bloody taste and raw interior. We immediately stopped eating and called the waitress over. She told us, quite confidently, that it was filet mignon. It absolutely was not. We asked to speak again with the same gentleman. When questioned, he immediately contradicted her and said it was not filet mignon--but then admitted he didn't know what cut of meat it actually was. He went to the kitchen and came back still unable to identify it, only saying it was "beef." At that point, offering us ice cream as compensation felt almost insulting. We asked for the dish to be removed from the bill. Instead, the waitress returned with three cups of vanilla ice cream--and the charge for the dish was still on the bill. We paid and left, including a 20% tip for the waitress, as the issues seemed more systemic than entirely her fault. Be advised: this is not a BYOB restaurant anymore, and based on this experience, I would strongly recommend proceeding with caution.
