I would like to say I'm a regular of this location but after today, I'm not gonna order from here anymore. I am extraordinarily disappointed with my mail. It wasn't that it tasted bad, but it was the portion size that I had the biggest issue with. I'm currently trying to lose weight so I didn't feel like having a meal where 90% of the meal is rice so I ordered a steamed chicken and broccoli and wanted no rice and did not feel like having soup in the summer and didn't wanna have have soda as that would not help with my weight loss. Overall, I spent $18 on my meal. Because I had to pay for delivery. Since I was at work and I had to tip because I know how little drivers make without tips. The portion size was a business small and barely had any chicken. It's been about an hour since I ate my lunch and I went from being completely full to now my stomach feels like I haven't eaten lunch today using my calorie tracker app I paid 18 bucks for 250 calories. I wouldn't have tipped if I knew I was getting a serving size that's small. I am starving as I was my first meal of the day and received barely anything as a shitty excuse for a meal. I understand as a business owner that they have to make sure that they're pro emergent are high enough in order to stay in business but when you're charging someone a total of $15 and barely giving them any food and then your drivers receive a three dollar tip because if you don't tip them, then they get insulted you're scamming your customers. I am no longer going to be ordering from this place. I am now going to have to go the rest of my day starving thanks to the scummy business practices of this place. read more

I ordered from Panda House to try a change from my regular Chinese food restaurant. I had what I usually eat, a chicken and broccoli with white rice combo platter. It tasted more like chicken in garlic sauce, but wasn't bad, just didn't taste like a regular chicken with broccoli. My husband had sesame chicken and felt like the sauce was too sweet and ketchup-y tasting, not the worst, but said he's had better. We also ordered cheese wontons, which were a little too doughy and fried-tasting for me. We had the food delivered and it came quickly, and the driver was super nice and friendly! read more

Another standard Chinese joint. Staff seemed fairly friendly. While I was eating, it appeared there were a lot of carryout orders from regulars, which is usually a good sign. I got the broccoli with brown sauce spicy with brown rice. I'd say it was pretty average but the price and quantity made for a good deal. Tucked away in small strip of stores, another mainly takeout place, with a few small tables for eat in. I have eaten there multiple times over the years and food quality has improved from somewhat greasy in the past to excellent now. Portions are ample. Cost is very reasonable, and quite inexpensive during lunch menu. They also deliver with $15 minimum. Great choice for Chinese if you are around Fairfield. Very nice staff. read more

Not sure why this place has only 3.5... it deserves a much higher score. Never been to the actual restaurant, but always order delivery. I know Chinese food has a weird rep already, but i can assure you that this place is so fresh and uses the best products (you can tell by the food). I usually order: cheese wontons, pork lomein, general tsaos chicken with sesame seeds, and the homemade mustard on the side. The lomein is so flavorful and isn't slimy or have an oily taste. Cheese wontons are an amazing thing to pick on and stays fresh until the next day. Any of their chicken dishes is so good and you can't go wrong with that or even the steak. Never tried the seafood but I'm sure that's great too! read more

I have been going to Panda House since I was 13. I am 23 as I write this interview and have gotten to know the family that owns it very well. They are some of the most generous and friendly people you'd ever meet and the food is simply the best I have ever had. I have had Chinese food in many other places and still cannot find a place even comparable to Panda House. Furthermore, they will always make you anything you like, even if it's not on the menu. They will substitute bean curd (tofu) for almost any meat and be happy to turn a fried dish into a stir fry for those who are watching their waist or simply don't want fried foods. You can ask for sauce on the side, brown rice, etc. You order how you like it. They will make it for you. I cannot rate this place any higher. You won't be sorry you went. read more

Food isn't that great. And forget it, if you try to ask them for sautéed broccoli. It'll take 10 mins to explain what it is to them and then they still don't get it. Instead they will send you an order of steamed broccoli for the outrageous price of $8.25. Do not recommend. When I called to tell them that it was wrong all the woman could say was ok over and over again, not even an I'm sorry let me correct this mistake. This Chinese food is a literally my life. There is no describing how they make it but it's so good that if I could I would marry it. My favorite aspect of this restaurant is a little kid which is one of the sons of the people that work there who answers the phone in cute voice and asks if he can take my order and then when you go to pick it up your order he is there too.
