I ordered the food about two days ago. The guy and the lady was quit friendly but the lomein wasn't good at all, it's too wet and salty.

Above average General Tso's, beef and broccoli and Mongolian chicken. In my opinion, it's the best Chinese food in Verona

Good food and good value. Don't let the storefront fool you, the most reliable Chinese around

This place has the best dumplings I ever had. They make the food quick and are very friendly! I love my experience here and go frequently.

Food was good, not great. Prices are higher than China Garden. Not a bad option... But not something that you must have.

Food is always fresh, the Singapore dumplings are spicy and yummie! Very easy to pick up food, always parking in front.

6/8/26 (Update) Hunan Taste is consistently good!…read more Myself and two friends came here on a weeknight. The restaurant is a BYOB. Indoor and (weather permitting) outdoor seating here. We shared platters of Mongolian beef, Grand Marnier chicken and Grand Marnier shrimp. The food is always very appetizing and plentiful. Service was good this evening. However, service can be off on weekends. Always best to make reservations. Even more so on weekends. Takeout is available from Hunan Taste. The restaurant has a small private parking lot. In addition, you can always park in the next door Acme parking lot.

I recently went back to Hunan Taste for the first time in several years, and, sadly, my experience…read morewas not as enjoyable. The restaurant's dining room was still spacious and nicely adorned, and they even had a lovely outdoor patio, though it overlooked an Acme parking lot. Our server was a delight and completely went above and beyond for us. The food, however, was mediocre. The Pork Soup Dumplings were our favorite item, as their broth and meat were extremely flavorful. However, about two of the six had holes in them, so some of the soup had escaped before they were even removed from their bamboo steamer. The Spicy Chicken Dumplings came in a generous portion of ten, but the fiery poultry inside had a strong "chicken" flavor, if that makes sense. Lastly, we had the Chicken Chow Fun, which was extremely bland and full of gummy noodles. That chicken was tender and had a better flavor, though. I just looked back at my last review to see that we had ordered the same noodle dish previously, and, while it similarly had very little sauce on it, the plate had been much more enticing back then. I also saw a bunch of gnats flying around near our table, which was not appetizing, but in fairness, it was a very hot evening. Despite our mixed experience, the dishes being delivered to neighboring tables all looked amazing. I would like to think it was just an off-night and would be willing to give the place another shot.

Honestly one of the best unknowns I've ever picked. Needed some food after a day of shopping and…read moremost things were already closed, so went a little out of our way to get some food. The place is a simpler local eatery, so decor wasn't exactly a designed by some of the best New York interior decorators, but it was pleasant and very calm. The food is a fusion of various Asian cuisines but it is picked very well and cooked to perfection. Kids loved the Baos and Ramen which is probably one of the best indicators of the quality. From what I can tell it is family owned and run, so service may be a little slower than most similar places but it is definitely attentive and friendlier then most.

I ordered a number of skewers, including shrimp, king mushroom, chicken thigh, steak, the requisite pork. The skewers weee on the small side and just lacked seasoning and flavor. This type of kushiyaki type of food has subtle flavors and relies on top quality ingredients over binchotan. I just got none of it - mute flavors, no smokiness, poor seasoning. To be clear, it's not bad, it just didn't live up to my expectations when compared to a Manhattan izakaya or yakitori joint. Service was fine, but I was disappointed when we asked for a pork cutlet with curry sauce over rice for the little ones, bit minus the curry sauce and it was a rather big deal. Just make the dish and leave it off!
