I booked this PF Chang's for a corporate catering order and everything was amazing! The portions were great the service was amazing during set up and the booking experience was easy! For those reviewing the slow service at the restaurant i just want to know that this mall is INSANE and new restaurants don't pop up often. Just had the best customer service experience. There was an issue with the soup we ordered and without any hesitation the issue was fixed and then comped by the manager. They were so sweet and helpful. I've been here many times and highly recommend the Celia Dumplings. read more

I would like to give them a better review because the service here has been excellent.. however yesterday my boyfriend and I went for dinner, I ordered the chicken fried rice which I had ordered before on a different occasion. Terrible service! Went last Wednesday night at 6:30, place was half empty so no excuse for lack of service. My friend ordered ice tea with dinner and after requesting it 3 times finally got it when check was delivered ! New menu, higher prices and less choices, terrible! Management needs better training in handling unexpected occurrences and resolving volatile situations among customers which (at the worst) could put other customers in danger and(at the least) distracts from the dining pleasure and experience of other customers. Just about one year since first opening in Willowbrook Mall, Wayne, PF Chang's seems to have gone downhill. Looked to me like the menu itself had changed--seems to me I remember a much more extensive menu.Could be wrong about that, though. But I do remember the food quality to be better. This was probably my fifth time in a year. Noticeably different. Lettuce wraps were not as good. My tempura veggies were so greasy, and little bits of some of the vegetables were so small they all just stuck together in a fried nest so to speak. But this is not why I'm writing the review. I believe the management last night did a poor job in controlling a volatile situation that occurred with some customers, Monday night, many off of work and school that day due to honoring Martin Luther King, so the restaurant was packed. Many families, small children were there. Woman comes to table behind mine where another man and woman are eating. Proceeds to have some words with man, then smashes a plate of food, some landing on him, plate crashing to floor. Woman walks out, yelling. Okay, things happen. Some people just can't control themselves. Wait staff soon cleans up the mess. Man and woman at table seem to resume their meal after he gets up a few times to clean himself off or attend to other woman. Seems to be end of it. But it's not. Fifteen minutes later, same woman comes back again, creating a worse scene where the whole restaurant and staff just looking on. Management should have not let this woman back in after first occurrence,they should have called authorities after the first plate was smashed and/or asked that the man and woman dining leave the restaurant if this was going to continue to avoid further problems. Apparently they did nothing and I blame the restaurant management for allowing this to escalate. Eventually they did call the police, (I believe at other's customers urging). Felt like I was in a low-class, low budge, reality show. Don't think I'll be returning. read more

Been to a few PF Chang's before, so was excited for one closer to home. This one however, is like a bootleg version of the real thing. We sat at a booth that seemed like it was under fluorescent lights. Very small place with zero atmosphere. Our waitress, Tonya, was useless. We had a few basic questions about the menu which she couldn't answer. Service was slow and another waitress had to bring our drinks over to "help our waitress out." Food was good, which is why I give it 3 stars. They do need to work on timing however,as I hate when they bring out entrees when you are still finishing your apps. Overall, it was just an okay experience. Will drive further and go to the more legit locations in the future. read more

I also ordered a drink which came in a broken glass... portions are definitely much smaller and not prepared the same as other PF Chang locations in NJ .... My guest and l were seated and completely ignored by staff for 25 minutes. When I mentioned this to the staff, I did not get an apology. There were tables around me that sat after me and had already received their meals. A group at the bar that were seated after me already were onto their second round of drinks. The staff was chatting amongst themselves near me when I was still waiting to be served. So they were not understaffed. I complained and got a message back saying "I'm Sorry you feel like you were ignored". I responded with "I don't FEEL like I was ignored, I WAS ignored and it was evident through everyone surrounding me being served but me". The manager there cannot manage. They have no customer service skills what so ever. l know they defrost pf chang frozen dinners you can get at the supermarket, what l wanted that afternnon was the restaurant experience, which they failed miserably at. The worst take out experience I've ever had. Placed an online order at 5pm with a scheduled pick up at 6:45pm. Waited almost an hour to get the food. They forgot to give us a soup we ordered so I went back for that. Then I get home and everything is cold and soggy. Why is the food soggy if I had to wait an hour for you to cook it?!?! Worst of all, 6 entrees ordered, and no rice was given!! Love PF Chang's, but I'll never ever be back to this one. read more

Four of us went here Saturday night for a birthday celebration. When we arrived, we were told that there would be a 20 minute wait. We were seated within that time . Our waitress, a very lovely woman arrived to our table immediately to take drink orders. Hot sake was on the menu so 2 of us ordered that. The waitress said she would need to check if it was in stock since earlier in the week they ran out. She returned to inform us that it was still out. We were ready to order appetizers and the balance of our food. The appetizers arrived timely, then the wait began. We waited for almost an hour for the food to arrive. Our waitress kept apologizing and tried her best to accommodate us. Finally, 3 of the entree's arrived. I sat waiting without my entree. When the waitress came to the table she was surprised to see that I had not received my food. She went to the kitchen and within 5 minutes returned with my food but no rice. The guys at our requested additional rice since only 1 bowl for all 3 came with their food. Five minutes later, a bowl came with the brown rice I ordered, and the white underneath. It was rudely dumped on the table by someone other than or waitress. When the hostess seated us she said the food was fabulous and that there were huge portions. We felt that it was neither. It seems that the trainers left this establishment too soon and someone needs to monitor supplies more closely read more

I wish i could give negative stars!! The worst dining experience I've ever had. The restaurant is very small and the storefront is crammed into another building. No cool statues that are typical of other Chang's I've been to. The waiting area could only seat three people comfortably, and we had to wait for 40 minutes to be seated. Once seated, no waiter came for ten minutes . The service was almost nonexistent for the whole time . The apps were burnt. Two entrees came out fifteen minutes before the rest of the entreees. The bar was out of beer and some of the wines. And to top it all off, we all had upset stomachs for the rest of the eve. I have been to other Chang locayans they were amazing. I like PF Chang's food very much. We dined in at the location, and I called to make a reservation and they said they didn't take reservations, so I booked a reservation online. That seemed odd. The atmosphere was not good and there was a woman screaming in the kitchen the entire time. So the next time we ordered it to go. The site gave us a pickup time, but when we got there we had to wait for it 1/2 hour. We tried it again a third time and ordered online. The website said the food would be ready at 6:20 p.m. We went to pick it up and there were lots of people waiting, our food wasn't ready until after 7 p.m. That's just not acceptable. Other people waiting said they had the same problem. Plus, I ordered the same thing all three times, and each time it had different ingredients. I just don't think this location is managed very well. read more

Worst PF Chang's ever! Stay away! This location opened in January 2019. My family visited early April, 2019 expecting the same pleasant experience as we've had in Atlantic City and Princeton, NJ. Unfortunately, this location by design is nothing like either of those locations. It is a big open room, with a bustling atmosphere - kinda like a warehouse. The kitchen spans along the back wall, and there is only a glass wall, so customers can see all the food prep. Nothing is relaxing about watching busy cooks rushing to bring food out. The cleanliness of the place was non-existent. I was slipping and sliding on the greasy floors, our table and booth was dirty from the previous diners, and the restroom unkept, and very no-frills for a new restaurant. The food... despite being a chain even the food was "off." I left without having a good experience. The tone is "let's get them in, get them out," for same prices, but a more rushed, less quality experience. We will never dine at this location again! read more

We were excited to learn that there is a P. F. Chang's close to us, as every meal that we have had from this chain in the past has been wonderfully delicious and healthful. Tonight's meal, however was a tremendous disappointment! The hot appetizer took 1/2 hour to get to the table and was slightly warm when it arrived. The main course included a garlic sauce on the side wherein some pieces of chicken were floating around. The vegetables were limp and inedible, as they were soaked in sauce. The fried rice contained overcooked chicken. The people at the next table were also complaining about their food. Our waiter called the manager over, who was very nice (and did her best) and had the garlic sauce redone by the 'executive chef'. It arrived 20 minutes later and as it was very hot and hard to handle, she spilled it on the bench as she placed it on the table. All in all, our server and the manager did their best to remediate the problems from the kitchen, but we heartily agreed that we would never return to this P. F. Chang's. read more

First time visiting this restaurant. We're seated quite fast. The server was nice but didn't know much about the menu except that servings are enough for at least 2 people. We requested our chicken sesame with asparagus instead of broccoli and were quickly accommodated. We also ordered shrimp in lobster sauce. The food comes with white or brown rice. We selected brown rice. Overall the chicken was pretty good; the shrimp was very bland, and the rice was good. The best part was the fortune cookies, which are excellent! read more

I was soooo excited that this location was opening right by my house. I tried it with my mom about two weeks ago and was let down. My mom got the asian caesar salad and it was DRENCHED in dressing that was SO salty that it was literally inedible. After telling the waitress who politely understood and took it back, my mom ordered the egg drop soup. She got the soup and it felt like it was maybe microwaved for 30 seconds. Thankfully the server was super understanding and took both things off the bill. I visited again tonight with my boyfriend, his mother and his sister. First of all, it took at least 10 minutes, maybe more for the server to come greet us. (I used fo be a server and I know for sure this is a HUGE mistake). Then finally the BARTENDER came to our table. She ended up being our server. I did feel bad for her because she had to take car of the bar, the drinks for the rest of the restaurant and a few tables. But while I felt bad she also didn't ask anyone for help. She checked on us once within almost two hours. I ordered a drink and it took at least 20 minutes for her to make and bring to me which she took off the bill anyway. Our appetizers were good: lettuce wraps & edamame. Although the edamame was a bit overcooked but nothing to complain about or send back. Our meals come and the food runner couldn't even clear our full table of appetizer plates. My boyfriends sister got the pad thai chicken and the noodles in her meal were SO overcooked that they were actually gummy and clumping together. Overall, I was so disappointed with this location. So sad because this had so much potential to be a great asset to the area but until they figure out staffing on both the kitchen and the floor, this place is going to go down hill fast. read more

Before I get into all the bad let me say that I actually like P.F. Chang's as a franchise. This location is a shadow of the real thing. Right off the bat the utensils and glasses were visibly dirty. We ordered a couple appetizers which came out pretty quickly. However they were cold...not warm...cold. Then about 2 min later our meals came out. I barely chewed the first dumpling and the waiter who brought the food asked if he could take anything away for us to make room. We hadn't even started eating the second app. This was also the last time we'd see a waiter until we were well past finished. We ordered pad Thai and pepper chicken, two favorites of ours from other locations. The food was severely over cooked. The pad Thai noodles could be picked up in one giant clump and the chicken was so rubbery you could bounce it off the table. After we gave up on trying to finish the poor excuse for a meal we had to wait forever for someone to come give us our bill. There wasn't a manager in sight to talk to and we were so annoyed at that point we needed to get out of the. $75 for two people when the food wasn't even close to good is a mistake we won't make again. Take my advice, if you like P. F. Chang's don't let this location ruin it for you. Stay away. read more

Waiter was a professional who also works at Ballyowen Golf Club. We've been to PF Chang's over the years and enjoyed them very much. Soup took 30 minutes to come out and it was luke warm. Main course came out 20 minutes later and also not hot, luke warm once again. Our appetizer came out after the main course, now plain cold. We were excited to see this new addition to the local mall. I had a specialty drink that had grapefruit vodka, elderflower, and prosecco in it. DELICIOUS...BUT...if you're going to rim a glass with sugar, don't just do half of it. I figured a chain would go to great lengths to train their bartenders, but it seems they didn't. Half the rim was covered in too much sugar and the other half of the glass had none. Ok, the meal...appetizers weren't bad. Had the spicy cauliflower and the tempura string beans. They were both good, but beware, when they say spicy they mean SPICY!! The filet mignon main course was very good, however, we had to send back our fried rice because it was burned and tasted awful. Our son and his friend shared the lo mein which was just ok. Mongolian beef was chewy and tough. Staff was very accommodating, if a bit slow moving, but it was only their second week, so that's to be expected. All things considered, I might return for some apps and drinks with the girls, but $118.00 was a bit pricey for mediocre food. We don't mind paying for good food when it's actually good, but this is a chain after all, and it shows. read more

I love PF Chang's food and their menu, however, considering that this place by willowbrook mall just opened, one would think that the food should be good. I never write reviews and I don't have time to write reviews, but if I am taking the time to do so then that means my experience was extremely horrible. I ordered take out yesterday. After a long day/week at work I wanted to treat myself and family to a delicious dinner without having to cook. I ordered the Mongolian beef and sesame chicken and northern ribs. I paid $55 with tip. The meat in the Mongolian beef was cut into huge tough chunks that you could barely bite into. The sesame chicken was also cut up into huge chunks and the broccoli was so over cooked. The food also had a weird taste to it, not what I'm used to. Of course I didn't try the food until I got home and I live about a half hour away so I wasn't going to go back to return it. After trying a taste of everything I ordered, I threw all the food out. Never eating there again!!! I also had a negative experience eating at the Hackensack location where they told me that they ran out of white rice!!! I saw the same female manager at the willowbrook location as the Hackensack location. A regional manager should really step up and see what's going on in the PF Chang's locations in northern NJ. I really do love their food but I will never step foot in those two locations (Hackensack and Wayne) again. read more

This is by far the worst PF Chang's I've been to. Not because the food because the staff is incompetent. I've been to this location 4 times and every time the staff has managed to mess up the order and I was stuck waiting over an hour for them to fix it. Let's not forget the take out team who are even worse. My recommendation is to management/owner to raise the standards of who you hire. They should have basic skills to take orders down correctly. I can understand it happening once but to happen 4 times is ridiculous. My recent visit involved me ordering over the phone and requesting no mushrooms in certain dishes. Fast forward 30 minutes when I go to pick it up she advises that everything has mushrooms and I need to order from I different menu. When I ask why wouldn't they call me before I wasted 30 minutes she replies oh yeah I should got your number. And proceeds to ask me to place another order and waste another 30 minutes. I will NEVER give this place my money again. So if you are looking to be surrounded by idiots and waste your time, this is your place. read more
