This place is gross. Went for lunch today (a Thursday), when it wasn't very busy. The restaurant is gross with exceptionally dirty plates, the wait staff is poorly spoken, doesn't know the menu and is slow (literally doesn't come check up on you - ever). Our pork dumplings came out so cold the first time - clearly were microwaved. The kids menu has "document preview" printed across the entire thing.. and literally can't be read. When I pointed it out to the waitress, she said "yeah I know", but then couldn't tell me what was on the kids menu. The food was gross and very overpriced. I love PF Chang's, and decided to give this new location a try. I'm sorry we did. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly, but unfortunately, the food here was so disappointing and actually nauseating we had to send it back. Every time I eat at PF Chang's I order Mongolian Beef and it's always cooked perfectly--a flank steak, tough cut of meat, super thin. This location must've missed the recipe-- mom and I both got cubes of fatty, raw "meat". It was so chewy and almost slimy, we sent it back. They were great to bring us two brand new meals, however, the meat on these plates had the same texture, though more well done. I felt like I was eating Chinese take out, and I can't get myself to eat meat from Chinese take out because of the yucky texture. I won't come back to this location, and I'm really nervous to go back to the other one because of this--I'm hoping they didn't skimp out on their quality of meat. After hearing mixed things about this establishment, I decided to try the takeout options. My order was ready promptly, and before I knew it, I had arrived back home, eager to sample this authentic Chinese cuisine. However, I could not shake a feeling of uneasiness upon my approach to the doorway. As I entered my abode on this queer night, I sensed a foul presence in the air. Some strange evil lurked in my halls. I could sense it. I pulled back the false wall near my entrance to retrieve my garlic bundles, and a wooden stake. They were here, I knew it. Silently, I creeped through my home, without light to guide me. I had practiced this many times. However, I took one misstep, and a floorboard uttered a deafening groan. In an instant, the unholy beasts revealed themselves. With a chilling shriek they hurled themselves towards me, but I was ready. I brandished my garlic. With a ghastly cry and a fell snarl, they turned tail and launched themselves through a window. I ran to the window, and the cold wind bit my face. I braced to pursue them, but alas the creatures were nowhere to be seen. They have found me, but now I am on the offensive. I tire of eluding these malicious cads, and shall draw them into the open to do battle. I will await them at the patio of Bahama Breeze, where our fate shall be decided. After this ordeal, I sat down to enjoy the Gluten-free Mongolian Beef and Odwalla Lemonade that I had carried out. The beef was flavorful but rather chewy. I have been dying to try PF Changs for a while, I decided to go on Friday with my son. He ordered sweet and sour chicken with wonton soup and fried rice. I ordered miso ramen with chicken. the wonton soup was unimpressive, with only 1 wonton and what looked like spinach in it. My sons sweet and sour chicken came out about 45 minutes later with my Ramen. I watched people sit down after us, order, and finish there food by the time we received ours. His food was cold and bland, absolutely no flavor what so ever. The "dinner" size that was 18$ was not even enough for a 4 year old boy. On top of that, I had to send my ramen back because even though i asked for chicken they gave me pork. I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes so I told them just to take it off the bill. The waiter seemed to think it was funny when he came over to serve the food and stated "fresh from the farm". Honestly would give this restaurant 0 stars, but I don't think the app will let me. Had a reservation for 7, at 7:15 we were still not seated and found two seats at the bar instead. Proceeded to wait nearly 20 minutes for one of the five bartenders to ask us what we'd like to drink. Only good thing about this place is the drinks. Took forever to get our food and wasn't nearly good enough for the wait. Everything tasted oily and bland. Let me start by telling you how much I love PF Chang in Southern California, so I was very excited when they opened one in Wayne New Jersey! The food was subpar the order was not correct I am husband ordered brown rice and I ordered why they brought us one bowl of white rice. We never got called for our table so we wound up eating at the bar. Carlos seem to run the bar, however, he could not be in 10 places at once! This guy was exceptional he was washing glasses, stacking the glasses,taking orders, getting food from the kitchen, etc. All those girls were non stop! Our food came out cold not hot and it took so long. PF Chang you really need someone just doing the glasses and taking orders for the table! This restaurant should have higher standards, they cannot expect four people to do everything! read more

So I was really excited to go out tonight to P.F. Chang's but this location in particular was so disappointing. First of all the wait to even order was ridiculously long and to even get our drink was so ridiculous. Once we got our appetizer it was fine but it was once our entree came out that the issue occurred. I found EGGSHELL PIECES in my fried rice. The server was really nice but the manager didn't even come out to apologize for what occurred but the took off the appetizer ($10.50) and the fried rice ($3.00). I didn't think that was enough but whatever I don't plan on going back anyway. To end the GREAT night we were rushed out by a different waiter who took the money we left for our waitress and proceeded to take our stuff plates and glasses. Well been to P.F. Chang's in Las Vegas and to say that was 20 times better then this one in Wayne, NJ. The food mainly had no taste and salmon was over cooked first time and second time after sending back got new one raw as sushi. Horrible food and would not recommend. I was watching the general manager inspect the food coming out and you could tell he had no clue what to look for. read more

We stopped in for Lunch today and there were all of 5 other people in the restaurant. I have to say, I have been to PF Chang's in Maryland many years ago and it was wonderful. We found the service here to be terrible...and the food was worse. The Edamame took 20 minutes to come out and were totally soggy...we ordered a spicy tuna roll that was mushy at best and a salad that looked like it was from a bag you would buy in the grocery store. This is my first time eating at a P.F. Chang's. We came on a Monday evening & were seated immediately. The drinks are really good & the server was friendly. That's about where the good ends. Even though the server was nice, he was incredibly behind on our table's orders (there were only 3 of us on a not busy Monday). The people sitting across from us had to flag down the hostess because they hadn't seen their waiter since they were seated 15 minutes prior. It took 20 minutes for my second drink, & our waters never came. I'm not a picky eater whatsoever but out of the 7 items we ordered, I only found one to be to my liking. Stopped here for lunch,and was very disappointed. Appetizers, dumplings and edamame came out cold . Had to send it back. Two entries sweet and sour chicken and wok filet mignon also came out cold. Chicken was stringy and chewy and the filet mignon was cooked to mush. We actually made a joke about ordering the next round when we recd the first round so we wouldn't have to wait as long, should have done that. Second round took even longer. Ordered 4 apps and recd 3 of them and had to wait for the fourth while our food got cold. It took over 45 minutes to get our food for dinnet.... WHAT??? Our server was about as happy serving as we were waiting for the food. The bar itself was covered in dirty glasses but the bartender was too busy talking to the servers to clean it up. Last week we ordered PF Chang's catering for my company and we took a leap of faith.... but it was delicious! We were extremely pleased! First off, the food was delicious and fresh. The hot was with the hot... and the cold stayed with the cold. Second, the boxes were sturdy leaving no room for any slipups or messes! Third, all the food (which fed a lot of people!) came complete with utentils, chopsticks, labeled sauces, and so on. We were VERY pleased with how they cater, and how good all the food was. Eh. So I've always heard of PF Chang's but never went because there wasn't one around. So I couldn't wait when I saw that Willowbrook was opening one. I went yesterday and while some things were FANTASTIC, others were HORRIFIC. It was relatively crowded and that's expected on a Sunday at Willowbrook since GS plaza is closed Sundays so everyone comes to Wayne. We were seated right away. The service was ok. We ordered the Shrimp Dynamite and Vegetable spring rolls for apps then the honey garlic chicken and Beef a la Sichuan, both got fried rice and a side of garlic spinach. The apps took FOREVER to come out even though we sat there and watched them sit, ready, under the heater for 20 minutes through the glass window leading to the kitchen. Then only the shrimp came out. We had to wait an extra 5 or so minutes for the spring rolls. Both were very good. Then the entrees and sides came out. Both entrees and the rice were delicious. The spinach on the other hand...was the most rancid thing I've ever put in my mouth. I had to try it 3 times to make sure I wasn't making it up in my head. It didn't look good but I was like maybe it tasted good. Oh my god. It tasted like licking an ashtray. I think something went wrong. This cannot be how it was supposed to come out. There's no way they serve this to people, it tasted like the chef was ashing his Newport in the spinach. We sent it back. We also had some mini dessert, don't remember which one but it was some sort of chocolate dish. 1 glass of wine, 2 apps, 2 entrees and a dessert came to $81 which is ridiculous for Chinese food lol but we knew what we were getting into when we went there. The wait time for a table was 1.5 hrs on saturday night but since we wanted to shop we did not mind the wait there, but the service itself was extremely slow. Food was just food. Regularly ate at PFChang's in Edgewater & Hackensack, NJ; Clearwater, Orlando, Jacksonville, FL; Fredericksburg, VA; San Diego, CA. All were pleasant experiences with food as expected. Unfortunately, Willowbrook, NJ was a terrible experience several times mostly because off poor service. Bartenders spend more time socializing among themselves rather than paying attention to patrons at bar seating. Food often came out cold or incorrectly ordered by staff. Sent it back refusing to accept it & advised manager accordingly. It was replaced or taken off bill. PFC, pay a better salary and get better help. read more

We called this restaurant and said we had 8 people and 1 child and we were told that tbey don't reservations and only walk ins. We decided to walk in only to be told by a hostess who had a bit of an attitude about only doing reservations of 5 or less on weekends. When we told her we called she just staryed nope thats not how its done on weekends. I wish i have gotten the person we spoke to with intially....Please do better with training your staff on your store policies and maybe some training for your hostesses. read more

After a disappointing first attempt to order using Uber Eats, (they cancelled my order for no reason with no notice) I decided to try again ordering directly from the restaurant.... success! I called after ordering online to confirm my order was received - gentleman who answered was polite, verified my order and promised it would be ready at the pick up time I chose. It was Saturday during the heavy rainfall - I thought for sure I would be sitting in the parking lot forever... nope - my order was ready as soon as I pulled up... everything was correct - pick up was organized & everyone outside was in protective gear. After reading the Hackensack reviews... I'm so glad I drove the extra 15min to Wayne - considering the situation - they have things under control... we got 2 chicken dishes with rice, egg rolls, lettuce wraps, fried dumplings, dragon rolls & the banana desert... everything tasted great & was fresh - def worth the extra effort of picking it up myself read more

Ordered $100 of food last night and wish I could give it 0 stars. Portions were very small and tasteless. I'd equate the quality to what I'd imagine to be dog food. The chicken lettuce wraps and the pan fried dumplings were the only semi-decent dishes. The spare ribs, honey chicken, spicy shrimp and lo mein all had very odd tastes, smells and textures. My wife and I had an upset stomach after eating the food as well. I'd imagine that this is pre-packaged frozen food that was microwaved. Truly terrible and I wish I could get my money back.
