I love their food, best Chinese food around. The service is great and fast and the restaurant is clean.

I ordered sweet and sour pork and crab ragoon. Sauce was for both not even 1/4 full. Called restaurant and the person on the phone was very abusive. "That's all you get. If you want more pay $1.75 more." Said it was 1/2 full when it wasn't. I've been a customer for a long time and I will no longer order from this restaurant. read more

One of the best and as far as what the kitchen seems cleanest Chinese food in the Totowa-Paterson -Woodland Park area. They are quick when ordering for a pick up order and have courteous service. Haven't tried the delivery yet. read more

Ordered from the lunch menu, and everything was delicious! I had brown rice, and beef with mixed vegetables (steamed). Although it was steamed the meat was tender, flavorful, and thinly sliced to perfection. My family had the pork fried rice, and beef with garlic sauce (mild). The sauce was delicious with hints of sweetness mixed with a little spice, they raved about it. The wonton soup had a flavorful broth and the delectable wontons melted in my mouth. I recently posted regarding a service issue at Chinatown Express. To make it sort, the amount of wontons were not correct in my order, nd I was wondering if this was an ongoing issue. I went back to the take-out the next day, and the owner seemed sincerely sorry for the issue. My order not only contained the correct number of items, but she added the wontons that were missed from the previous order. This is an example of making it right, thus... This place is a scam! I ordered House Special Chow Mein for delivery and the dish came with no noodles. All I received was a container full of mixed vegetables (bean sprouts, onions and carrots) with some shrimp and pork. Chow mein is supposed to be noodles. When I called the restaurant they said chow mein does not contain noodles. I even looked at the receipt that came with the order and in Chinese is said "stir fried noodles". Make sure you ask exactly what is in each item before you order. Otherwise you'll be in for a surprise. read more

As far as Chinese food goes this was hands down some of the best I've had in the area. We ordered fried wontons, chicken in garlic sauce, and boneless spareribs. The wontons were extremely flavorful and not understuffed as I've had from other restaurants. The chicken was nice and saucy and delicious. The boneless spareribs were perfect for my girlfriend who happens to be very picky with spareribs. We will be ordering from here again soon! read more

Decided to buy lunch for 21 of my employees for Christmas lunch. granted this was a take out order. And when trying to place so many orders at once there is bound to be some screw ups in orders. Wrong Chinatown got each order correctly down to the amount of egg rolls and flavor of sodas. No complaints on any of the prepared foods in the order. I placed an order at 11am to be delivered at 1pm today. I asked for the wings to be cut in half. I called at 12:59pm to see where the driver was and the lady told me two minutes. 1:15pm driver still not here and I call back and the lady says "driver is very busy two minutes." Driver gets here at 1:30pm and food is cold and my chicken wings are not cut. This place will be my LAST resort for food. read more

Food was typical, but not exceptional. A bit low on flavor and a little mushy. Portions are primarily large, double sized and priced a bit higher. I much preferred Hong Kong restaurant for take out, it's just up the hill across the street. Pet peeve: going in to pick up food when told on the phone and it's not ready AND the waitstaff is sitting eating while I wait at the counter. read more

The best Chinese food in the tri boro area. Everything we have ordered over a course of many orders has been excellent. The steamed dumplings are the best Ive ever had. We had a bad experience there years ago with previous owners but seems to be new owners since we decided to try again. Glad we did. Maybe the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. ordered egg foo young disgusting. The oil that they use to fry this egg must've been 100 days old. Ordered some beef on a stick.it was not beef I don't know what kind of meat this was but it was disgusting. We also ordered chicken wings again old oil , burned to a crisp. Gross! When I'm in the Totawa area I usually go to this particular Chinese restaurant. My complaint is not about the food quality or taste, but about the service. I placed an order for 12 wontons, and when I got home, I realized there was only 9 in the container. I don't normally count the number of wontons in my order, but I was curious to see if the cook gave the proper order proportion. I now wonder how many times I've been cheated in past orders. It may seem petty, but If I pay for 12 wontons I expect 12 wontons. I spoke to the owner, and she said she will make up the difference when I come in tomorrow. Needless to say, I will be checking my orders in the future. If it continues, then I will defiantly find a different take-out place! read more
