I order takeout from New Man Hing often and I always have a good experience. I call and place my order and they deliver within the time quoted. The people who answer the phone are easy to understand and courteous and the delivery people are very friendly and of course the food is very good. Had a combination dinner. Hot and sour soup was not an option, so I got an egg roll. Also ordered Hot & sour as an addition as I use that to judge a restaurant for the first time and glad I did. This has been a staple in my household ever since I was little. Over 2 decades later and I am just as obsessed. Family owned establishment, and everything I ordered has been exceptional. I love their wonton soup, nice meaty dumplings and their spare ribs are amazing (will lick the bone clean). I recommend calling for delivery an hour before you want to eat on the weekends, as it does get very busy. If you want to purchase in-store, I waited the longest 20 minutes or so? Just park on any of the side streets, or the parking lot with the yellow poles...never been ticketed parking in this lot! read more

I'm actually very impressed with this place. We were looking for something on Christmas Day and was glad we found here. What a hidden gem! The food was hot and fresh and not overly sweet or drenched in salty sauce like some of your other Chinese take out places! Heck they even ran a lunch specials on Christmas Day! Awesome price and generous portions. We got the beef chow fun, shrimp with broccoli, hunan tofu and chicken with spring beans. I love the food I've ordered from this place so far. It is fresh and flavorful with no needed additions of soy sauce for flavor which is what I've become used to having to do even with the food I always ordered from my previous go-to Chinese restaurant and others I tried. Also, I recently ordered cold sesame noodles and after all these years they were the best I've ever had! My only issue would be with the moo shu veggies I recently had. For the first time ever the order I had included lots of egg. Big clumps of egg. I hate eggs! It actually made me gag. I went through the entire container and removed a large heep of egg. Yuck. I would like to give this place a 4 but everything needs to be properly balanced. When it comes to the food, it was tasty. The Wonton soup was a bit salty but the wontons and meat were very good. The Hot & Sour soup was also very good. But it wasn't that hot in spice level. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, for their menu item it's considered chicken with peanuts. They give plenty of chicken. It was enjoyable but I ordered it extra spicy and it wasn't even regular spicy. There were no tien tsin Chinese peppers. I wanted spicy... and got nothing. A bit disappointed. The service was quick enough. I had placed my order to go because they were closing up soon, and I had to take the food home to share. As for the ambiance, it was ok. The place is better off strictly as a To-go joint. The place was cleaned ok, except for their supplies taking over a couple of the tables. I'm extremely picky about General Taos Chicken. It has to be crispy, high quality and cheap. This place checks all of those boxes and I have yet to find better in this area. They have a fantastic lunch special, yummy cheese wontons, and the egg rolls are delicious. Trust me on this as a picky eater: this is the best tasting, crispy, general Tsos ever. Very nice staff, order was presented and correct and price points are more than reasonable. Standard menu with diverse combination platters as well as your normal items. Simply stated it appears they use top quality ingredients but there was absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The Hot & Sour Soup was just like bland water with no redeeming characters whatsoever. This is a no nonsense Chinese restaurant that has pretty good food at really good prices. I always order the same thing (chicken or shrimp with broccoli) so it's easy for me to figure out if the food is good or bad. The chicken or shrimp with broccoli is very good here.....you get a large portion and it's always hot. As far as Chinese food goes you can't ask for much more. The staff here is always pleasant and there is never a long wait for food even though they always seem busy. Only a couple parking spots up front if your picking up or eating in (there are a few tables inside). This place is a safe bet if your looking for a good meal. read more

Amazing, fresh, authentic Chinese food! Normally after Chinese, I would typically have this heavy feeling as if I had just eaten a pound of fast food. This, on the other hand doesn't give that after effect, which shows they use better ingredients. LOVE love love the garlic ginger chicken, the sauce is just fantastic.
