Easy phone order. Szechuan Chicken was delicious. Very friendly. I've been ordering from New Man Hing for years but tonight's dinner really was delicious. Keep doing what you're doing. Great phone service, fast meal prep, and delicious. read more

First time visiting and the food there was super flavorfu!! the food came rather quick and lady there was really nice, i'll definitely be coming back. read more

We just moved to the area & looked for our Chinese food spot for 2 years! We finally found it. I'm sad they don't have scallion pancakes! We drive about 15 minutes and pass countless Chinese food places to get to this one. The boneless spare ribs are phenomenal. Food is always so hot! read more

I used to order from a place closer to me and read reviews of New MSN Hing and decided to try them. I have not been disappointed. I order takeout from New Man Hing often and I always have a good experience. I call and place my order and they deliver within the time quoted. The people who answer the phone are easy to understand and courteous and the delivery people are very friendly and of course the food is very good. All in all I recommend New Man Hing if you want delicious Chinese food and good service. read more

Our favorite Chinese food place in the area! Have been going here for close to 20 years! Food is consistently delicious, owners are great, the rest of the staff is wonderful as well! read more

Fast and reliable with consistent quality. Recommend the broccoli with garlic sauce as well as the hot and sour soup.

Very basic. That's the review. Small portions, lack of flavor, and authenticity. It was very basic Chinese take out!

Had a combination dinner. Hot and sour soup was not an option, so I got an egg roll. Also ordered Hot & sour as an addition as I use that to judge a restaurant for the first time and glad I did. Excellent. Had General's chicken which came with fried rice. Fried rice was the best ever. It was abundant with perfectly cooked bbq pork. They precooked the chicken so chicken was dry. It wasn't very spicy but I picked up some hot sauce which saved the day. Chicken cost them a star or they woul have gotten all 5 read more

The only thing that bothers me is that they charge for deliv ery when they state that delivery is up to 2 miles. I am not even 1/4 mile far from them. The food is very good! read more

This has been a staple in my household ever since I was little. Over 2 decades later and I am just as obsessed. Family owned establishment, and everything I ordered has been exceptional. I love their wonton soup, nice meaty dumplings and their spare ribs are amazing (will lick the bone clean). I recommend calling for delivery an hour before you want to eat on the weekends, as it does get very busy. If you want to purchase in-store, I waited the longest 20 minutes or so? Just park on any of the side streets, or the parking lot with the yellow poles...never been ticketed parking in this lot! read more

This is a favorite. Food is always fresh and well prepared. Staff is always friendly.

Best Chinese lunch.. prices are great The wonton soup is delicious. I had the chicken with mixed vegetables it was very tasty. The bbq spare ribs were good too. I usually call it in & pick up on my way home.. parking is sparse so I park on the side street & walk over.. read more

I'm actually very impressed with this place. We were looking for something on Christmas Day and was glad we found here. What a hidden gem! The food was hot and fresh and not overly sweet or drenched in salty sauce like some of your other Chinese take out places! Heck they even ran a lunch specials on Christmas Day! Awesome price and generous portions. We got the beef chow fun, shrimp with broccoli, hunan tofu and chicken with spring beans. And honestly everything was quiet good and not overly salty or too sweet. Also they have brown rice! Which is awesome. A great spot and we will be back! read more

Always delicious, freshly made food. Reasonably priced. Answer quickly and delivery fast and hot

Ordered lunch for my staff. Had the General Tso's Chicken and thought it was OK. Not fantastic. Not bad. Just OK. It was much more sweet than spicy. The rest of my folks said they were thoroughly underwhelmed with their orders. From what I saw, it appeared to be pretty basic and underwhelming. The upside is that the price was right for the quality of the food. read more

I love the food I've ordered from this place so far. It is fresh and flavorful with no needed additions of soy sauce for flavor which is what I've become used to having to do even with the food I always ordered from my previous go-to Chinese restaurant and others I tried. Also, I recently ordered cold sesame noodles and after all these years they were the best I've ever had! My only issue would be with the moo shu veggies I recently had. For the first time ever the order I had included lots of egg. Big clumps of egg. I hate eggs! It actually made me gag. I went through the entire container and removed a large heep of egg. Yuck. I had to put it in the fridge and have it the next day once the taste left my mouth. I know, it's me and not everyone. I hope I'll be able to get it again without egg. read more

Staff speak English so ways to communicate with them. Orders are prepared quickly. Large selection of menu items. Plentiful amounts of food in each order. Vast majority of all orders are takeout or delivery. Small but clean area for sit down eating. Nothing fancy but the food is very good! read more

I would like to give this place a 4 but everything needs to be properly balanced. When it comes to the food, it was tasty. The Wonton soup was a bit salty but the wontons and meat were very good. The Hot & Sour soup was also very good. But it wasn't that hot in spice level. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, for their menu item it's considered chicken with peanuts. They give plenty of chicken. It was enjoyable but I ordered it extra spicy and it wasn't even regular spicy. There were no tien tsin Chinese peppers. I wanted spicy... and got nothing. A bit disappointed. The service was quick enough. I had placed my order to go because they were closing up soon, and I had to take the food home to share. As for the ambiance, it was ok. The place is better off strictly as a To-go joint. The place was cleaned ok, except for their supplies taking over a couple of the tables. Don't know if it was just the one night or a regular occurrence. They do have a lot of menu items, I'll give them some more credit. Overall, the food was tasty, but not p read more

Really solid Chinese take out spot! Food is consistently good, not as greasy as some other spots tend to be. Prices are fair for quantity you receive. They deliver to a pretty decent radius and delivery is usually quick. They do get busy so it can take some time, but they are usually up front about the time when you call. Can't go wrong with any staples here: wonton soup, lo mein, sesame chicken, wings - everything hits the spot! Will definitely recommend and continue to order from here. read more

New Man Hing has been our go-to restaurant for Chinese take-out. Generous portions that are priced well and the food is consistently good. We usually get the Combo meal which comes with rice soup and a good size entree. They are good with special requests and the food is always hot and ontime. New owners ate pleasant and kept up the previous owners standards read more

This is the 3rd (and final) time that they screw up my order. I even had the very rude man on the phone repeat it back 3 times before he got it right. Only to have the delivery person show up with two of the wrong items and no rice. Never ever again. What was once a decent place has slide right into the toilet. read more

great food and service and amblance great price and caring people and fresh food great lo mein

New Man Hing is the best Chinese takeout in the area! I enjoy their wonton soup which comes with a lot of pieces of pork as well as their chicken chow mein. Everything we have tried so far we've enjoyed. I've had takeout from another place closer to me and New Man Hing was way better. read more

I'm extremely picky about General Taos Chicken. It has to be crispy, high quality and cheap. This place checks all of those boxes and I have yet to find better in this area. They have a fantastic lunch special, yummy cheese wontons, and the egg rolls are delicious. Trust me on this as a picky eater: this is the best tasting, crispy, general Tsos ever. I will never go anywhere else. I've also tried their fried chicken and that's fantastic too, especially with a side of hot oil. read more

Been coming here for years, my go to take out chinese. It just hits the spot. Whenever I try other places it doesn't compare to here. Its only street parking. Service is pretty quick, food is good!! read more

I was looking for something quick and simple and phoned in an order for traditional chicken lo mein and chicken broccoli lunch specials. The pick up was simple and smooth. The dishes turned out to be quite flavorful and the portions were sizeable. The wontons in the wonton soup were huge and the hot and sour soup was just perfect. Will definitely return in the future. read more

New Man Hing serves excellent food, very fresh and they provide excellent service. I highly recommend them, but it's the location in Nutley!

Order was for Takeout only and maybe it is just me but I found everything just OK to bland. Ordered and food was ready timely. Very nice staff, order was presented and correct and price points are more than reasonable. Standard menu with diverse combination platters as well as your normal items. Simply stated it appears they use top quality ingredients but there was absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The Hot & Sour Soup was just like bland water with no redeeming characters whatsoever. The Pork Fried Rice was tasteless. The General Cao Chicken was fresh & Hot but again NO Taste at all just bland Probably the best thing was the chicken and broccoli which was fresh and hot and had some semblance of flavor. All and all with all the options in the area this does not fit the repeat mode for me I'll pass in the future. read more

Great food and excellent service. We have been coming here for 20 years. Great takeout and delivery! Best tasting Chinese food in the area! read more

Fried wontons were microwaved, mushy and inedible. Chow fun was also mushy, completely unseasoned and inedible. Will never be ordering from this establishment again. read more

This is a no nonsense Chinese restaurant that has pretty good food at really good prices. I always order the same thing (chicken or shrimp with broccoli) so it's easy for me to figure out if the food is good or bad. The chicken or shrimp with broccoli is very good here.....you get a large portion and it's always hot. As far as Chinese food goes you can't ask for much more. The staff here is always pleasant and there is never a long wait for food even though they always seem busy. Only a couple parking spots up front if your picking up or eating in (there are a few tables inside). This place is a safe bet if your looking for a good meal. read more

Just ordered a quart of chicken fried rice from this restaurant. The rice was strangely gummy. It was not good at all. The consistency was very strange - not in a good way. read more

Amazing, fresh, authentic Chinese food! Normally after Chinese, I would typically have this heavy feeling as if I had just eaten a pound of fast food. This, on the other hand doesn't give that after effect, which shows they use better ingredients. LOVE love love the garlic ginger chicken, the sauce is just fantastic. Another favorite is the fried rices, the vegetable one is SO fresh! The steamed vegetable dumplings are huge and amazing in soups. Great cheese wontons also! Pictured is the ginger garlic chicken with vegetable fried rice, with a few bites taken out read more

New Man Hing - a meal in a plastic container - Chinese Near Me - Nutley, New Jersey

Just average. Both this and "old" Man Hing have declined. It's disappointing. Must have a new chef.

I've been ordering on and off from this restaurant since the early 2000s, for me it's always been hit or miss. The last several times I've ordered with the new ownership, everything was DELICIOUS. I was very impressed and shocked especially with seeing/hearing other reviews. I 100% recommend this Chinese takeout to anyone! read more

Very good food , fast friendly service . Not much of a eat in kind of place , although they have 2 tables . Mostly a takeout and delivery business . A lot of proteins in their serving , it's not all mostly veggies. read more

This place is great. There are a ton of greasy, subpar Chinese places around North Jersey but New Man Hing does it right. Their wonton soup is some of the best around. And the boneless spareribs and veggie lo mein are always solid. We've never had a bad meal from here and we've turned a bunch of friends on to New Man Hing as well. Once you go Hing, you never go back read more

Generous portions. Delicious food! The ribs were amazing I even ate them cold the next day!

This is insane, so pissed off. I already gave you the delivery address, what more information you need ? It is not like I am first time order from you guys, I ordered so many time before. what is the problem ? The driver keep calling where are you located, I cannt find you. What you want me to do ? I only know the address, I even send you the screenshot of where I lived, I really pissed off, waiting for almost an hour for nothing, Are you stupid or I am been difficult? WTF Never order from this restaurant again for sure Good luck read more

Best Chinese food in nutley! Parking gets annoying but it's worth it. Try to get there during the lunch special.
