The calamari was good but I believe the portion could've been bigger. The salmon was also great & I loved the white sauce that accompanied albeit my friend wasn't a huge fan. Do note that the sauce is a bit on the sweeter side so it's not for everyone. In addition to the food, we also had the slush lemonade which was refreshing (despite it being 20 degrees outside haha) & the hookah (albeit the employee there didn't seem sure on how to use it for some reason) which was fine. Honestly for food, my average rating for everything would be closer to 3.5/5. The pita bread that came with the table was room temp and served in a plastic bag. I would have liked it to be at least warmed up a little before being brought out. The sides and dips were average. They lacked flavor and depth in my opinion- the labneh was simply plain, sour yogurt without any other flavor. The mouhamarrah was also average, it was a bit spicy and that was about it. Standouts from our table that were very well executed were the lentil soup, shish tawook, and yasmeen fries. The lentil soup came out steaming hot, and was very nicely seasoned. I liked that it came with crispy pieces to add texture. The shish tawook surprised me as it didnt look super special, but it was actually very good! The chicken was juicy, fell apart easily, and had that nice grill flavor. It went well with the rice and vegetables. The yasmeen fries were hot and crispy, the garlic seasoning was a very nice touch. I would've liked if my mint lemonade had more mint flavor in it but perhaps that was my bad for not ordering the slush version. The portions were pretty generous, 19.95 is a fair price for all the food we received. Overall, we had a nice experience and am glad we got to try the place out.

But to give them the benefit of the doubt we were seated right next to a speaker so it's probably better at the other tables away from the speakers. The lamb makluba was delicious. The lamb was tender and flavorful without having a gamey taste to it. The rice was moist and soaked up the flavor of the lamb and other vegetables cooked in the same pot. I also enjoyed the nut garnish added on top as it provided a welcome crunch to the dish. My opinion of the mixed grill is just that--mixed. The meats were good but some pieces ended up dry even though we requested it be cooked medium rare. I really enjoyed the rice that came with the platter though my dining partners were not as enthusiastic. It certainly didn't have as much flavor as the makluba rice, but it was still very nice. Given that we also had the makluba, the mixed grill for 6 was too much food so we had plenty of leftovers. The appetizers we got were very enjoyable. We got tabouleh, pita with assorted dips (hummus, baba ganoush, etc.), and a cheese pizza type thing that I can't recall the name of. I liked all of them very much. None of it was mind blowing, but all just very solid food. I also got the mint lemonade which I enjoyed a lot too. It was me and my friend and we were served by the owner, who was very attentive and friendly. He made sure our food came out great and also came by to make sure. I had the Thai basil chicken with jasmine rice. They ask you what level spicy you want and I did 4 which was perfect for me. We tried their spices and oh lord! Are they hot lol. Yummy though, they're made in house. We also had the chicken dumplings to share and they were good too. The sauce that comes with the dumplings is pretty tasty. They have Thai juices however I stayed away due to sugar but the owner suggested I do unsweetened ice tea with half lemonade. It was perfect not sweet at all.
