I've been here many times. In the beginning, I went because I was in a hurry. Other times, I was forced because the person I was with insisted on this place. That said, the food has been consistently mediocre. Small portions. Small egg rolls, tough spare ribs, and generally flavorless food. There are so many other places that are much better. They get their business because they are in a shopping center with a Foodtown bagel place and a Taco Bell. They get foot traffic. The bottom line is: meh. read more

My family has been ordering from Golden China for over 20 years. The service is excellent and I can probably count on one hand the amount of mistakes they've made in 20 years. They don't deliver and they don't take credit/debit but they have an ATM in the restaurant now so it saves you a trip. read more

I've been coming here for a while. And I have to say the food is clean and good. I'm very picky with my food especially my shrimps. Till this day I have not seen the black strip behind the shrimps on this restaurant. Which I'm very impressed cause most restaurants including Chinese places wouldn't care and leave the black strip there. Not this one they clean it. I'm very happy coming here. I would of gave it 5 star but the reason why I give it a 4 cause it is CASH ONLY. That's the only downfall but besides that the food is good and the people are very nice. read more

Warning, they don't deliver... Wow, I can't believe I haven't given a review for Golden China. I thought I did a long time ago. This place has a few tables, which can accommodate about 10-15 people. They serve great Singapore Noodles which I frequently get. The home made ice tea is cheap and good. There's parking since it's right next to the FoodTown. You can drop by Dunkin Donuts which is next door for coffee. An inexpensive way to enjoy a meal while doing your laundry next door. read more

This is the best chinese take out in the area. They have a nice smokey flavor to a lot of their dishes that you can usually only find at a sit down restaurant. I dont know how ppl can say the food is flavorless. Granted me and the fam usually get the same dishes. But ive read a review where someone didnt like their general tso chicken which i find hard to believe, since you'd be hard pressed to find a take restaurant that makes it better than them. The only real negatives about them is that they dont deliver and they only accept cash. Because of them i can no longer eat from any of the chinese restaurants that deliver. There is too big a contrast in flavor that when i eat from a delivery restaurant i easily lose my appetite. Stopped in to get boneless spareribs tonight around 10. Got home & they where awful, worse ever. Had 2 forkfuls & could not eat any more greasy, rubbery. Going to bring them back tomorrow for refund. Not even close to being impressed with the place or the food. Ok I went back the next day with barely anything eaten. I tried to explain that they were greasy and uneatable. He gave me a hard time stating that's the way they are. Finally after conversating for about three to five minutes he decided that he's going to give me half my money back. Not acceptable! I had to get a little louder and he said I was wrong. I proceeded to explain to him that I am the customer and I was dissatisfied with his meal and if it wasn't so late I would have went back last night.
