Vegetable fried rice with garlic chicken wings
Diane J.

Love their food it never disappoints, it always tastes freshly prepared. They make an amazing vegetable fried rice with actual real veggies. Hands down my go to spot when undecided on what to eat.

I've been looking for it...and i've found it! The best Chinese takeout spot in Bloomfield. Nice service, great food. I ordered the General Tso's Tofu and the Vegi Lo mein. I felt the lo mein was your typical good Chinese takeout. I had no complaints in that department and would totally have it again. What did push over my expectations was the General Tso's Tofu. Not many places offer this as an option (maybe 3 in Bloomfield?) When they do it usually tastes like the tofu was made a couple of days ago, and then thrown into the fryer when the one vegetarian came around. This place was another level for that. Tofu was of great size, deliciously greasy (What?! It's Chinese take-out!) and was in a delicious sauce. This is my new go-to takeout place in Bloomfield.

Hunan Shrimp, excellent seafood and broccoli. Small portion pictured.

Pretty solid, tasty, fast and consistent Chinese food delivery. The menu has decent variety and the vegetables are fresh, seafood is very good. They have brown rice on request. Really enjoy a few dishes here, the staff is great, delivery people too. Husband and wife team keep the operation running smoothly and Wendy at the counter is a delight to talk to. I've been ordering here over 12 years now, and it's a standby of mine. The dining room is only for those in a rush, this place focuses of delivery. Check out the "all day combos" for a triple play of often ordered dishes like combo B: General Tso, Lo Mein and BBQ boneless spare ribs for example.

Something doesn't add up. Crooks overcharge people here.

Food is great and reasonably priced. Convenient location too. I usually order on line then walk over to pick!

Food is regular, service is alright. I've called to pick up a few times while 25-30 mins away and still had to wait 15 mins.

Best chicken wings ever in this area yet tried others but didn't like the way they tasted plus they were raw at other chineese restaurants.

Went there last night Good thing we went early as we did…read morenot have reservations and it was packed by the time we left The service was fast and friendly The food was hot and fresh with huge portions could have ordered half the food and still had leftovers The place is really nice and warm inside so a great spot on a cold day

Stopped in today after making a reservation for our anniversary…read more Waited to get seated. Informed the front we had a reservation. Looked around at the reserved tables and they stuck us in the back corner at a table without a reserved sign. Ordered dumplings, pork friend rice and two meals, one of which was general. Started off with the wontons which were amazing! Loved both the mustard and duck sauce. Dumplings were good, presentation average. Our meals come with white rice. NO RICE was given. We ordered pork fried rice as a variation.. was super upset about ordering a meal that has white rice with it and was provided half, as what was listed on the menu wasn't provided. Almost felt robbed. Didn't bother to tell them as it was clear we weren't a priority. Pretty disappointing, given we were there to celebrate a special anniversary. Looked around the room, everyone else received rice. We wrapped up the meals and left. Had high hopes and was left with less than what we paid for and they didn't provide us with the actual full meal. Forgetting to bring rice was huge. The meals were okay. No pleased.

They have a fairly big place for them to be in the "main street" of Montclair so there's plenty of seating there. We were greeted right away when we picked up our order, but the guy did take a little bit to find our name. We got their basil fried rice with chicken in their pad kee mow with chicken, both medium heat. I have to say, this is the best Thai food. I've tried in New Jersey. The price is incredibly cheap for the amount of food that you get, the spice level was true to what we asked for, and it was incredibly flavorful. We paid $14 for each plate and we're not only had dinner but also had leftovers for the next day (for two of us). This is now definitely our go to Thai food place!

The tom kha soup was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced with coconut, citrus, and heat. The vegetable curry puffs were crisp on the outside, warm and fragrant inside, and clearly made with care. The shrimp spring rolls were fresh, flavorful, and not greasy--an easy standout. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a great value overall. The decor is colorful and vibrant, adding to the experience without feeling overdone. Everything tasted intentional and well-executed. This is the kind of place you go back to--not just because the food is good, but because it's consistently satisfying.

The rice was a beautiful brown color, not that bright yellow. It was so extremely tasty, the beef was tender and savory. The ribs were tender and delicious, with a well-balanced flavor. It came with an egg roll that I gobbled up. Next time, I will try the chicken wings (I was watching a guy cut them up and almost added them to my order) and some roast pork egg foo young. If my next experience is as good as the first, I will be picking up food for dinner next time my wife wants Chinese.

Even so, I make my order over the phone, ordering a small, not a large of the delicious Vegetable Mei Fun (due to being quite hungry after a smaller lunch of only 5g of protein a few hours earlier to an appointment). The price difference is a few dollars between the small and large. Still, what if one shows up at the eatery with only enough money to pay for the order set through the phone? The Vegetable Mei Fun is really tasty; my first bite consists of a few onions which are full of light savory-zesty flavor, a main highlight of the meal; every other part of the meal mixes in well, especially with the noodles which carry the flavors well. I don't find a need to add any other sauce though do add sauce to try the flavors mixing. All of the sauces mesh well with the ingredients though are not necessary. The original flavors of the meal are more than fine. The meal is quite filling. The eatery does not seem to have any set place for a customer to eat indoors. The eatery accepts different forms of payment. There is a dollar charge if one uses a debit card (which may be in connection with a minimum order amount).
