Horrible service! I came in a few weeks ago and stood at the counter trying to get a coffee to go. I waited (no line) standing in front of the counter and not a single person acknowledged me, so I left. Since I live downtown I decided to give it a second chance this morning. I came to the counter, no line again and waited. I finally asked a server whom was behind the counter if they are serving from here. He said yes, I was then ignored for about a minute later, clearly the workers knew I was standing there. I then decided to walk out, will not be back. read more

Great spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Deviled egg sampler is a must. Biscuits are amazing too!

We have been here a couple times now, and the food is always outstanding. They "Woodstock" is the perfect morning cocktail. The only issue we have is sometimes the wait staff looks overwhelmed and understaffed for Sunday brunch in Dallas, so sometimes it can take a minute to get a drink refill or to get an item brought to the table. read more

Poor service. Left our name with the host, with a wait of 30-45 minutes. We waited and waited until the point that it felt too long of a wait. We approached the hostess to see how much longer our wait was and was told that they kept texting us that our table was ready but the host put down the incorrect phone number. We were sitting at a small table no less that 10ft away from the host who could have easily just approached us to let us know that our table was ready. He didn't even apologize and sat us at the bar instead of offering us a better table for messing up. Read the menu annoyed, got up and left. read more

This place is so loud! So if you are looking to talk and catch up with people you won't be able to hear them. The food was good. The waitstaff is nice. We had to wait awhile for our drinks and our biscuits never came. If I ever return I will prob sit outside. read more

The food here was decent, but everything we ordered was intentionally "unique" and not in a good way. The Bloody Mary was like salsa it was so thick and was made with green tomato which we were not informed of in advance. read more

It's a nice cute little place. The service was lackluster. She didn't come to check on us once we received our food, we had to wave her down. She only came after we finished our food.... The chicken tender biscuit was dry, they could of drizzled some sort of sauce to take away from the dryness. I expect a thicker cut of bacon as well. read more

The ambiance is beautiful with an open air kitchen and clean white decor. Apparently they have 2 entrances and since it was morning, they didn't have anyone at the entrance not connected to the building. I chose to sit at the counter and was quickly greeted by a waiter. I chose to have the brisket hash as suggested by the waiter. When it came I was pleasantly surprised by how much brisket there was on the dish. You definitely get your money's worth! However the only let down was the lack of service. It took me forever to find someone to get my check and I was going to ask for more coffee but my waiter disappeared! He was there to take my order but was never to be seen again until he handed me the check I asked another wait staff for. I don't think I would go back again but if brisket hash is your jam, this is a must try in Dallas! read more

Very good breakfast, but omg the coffee! Worth just going for the amazing coffee!! Cool spot, will definitely be back.

I was really disappointed in my dining experience here. We came for brunch and had the biscuits to start which were delicious. However, the service was so poor, I never even got a refill on my water. The food took a really long time and the food was sub par. I ordered the two eggs with coffee and have had better at IHOP. It was very bland and uneventful. The only reason I'm giving two stars is for the beautiful atmosphere which sad to say were not reflected in the food or service. read more

Fast, friendly service. Great food. Extremely accommodating to our twins dietary needs. I would highly recommend checking this place out for breakfast if you are staying downtown. read more

Every time we come we get a great server and the food and coffee are stellar. Parking is always a challenge but I enjoy the atmosphere so I always stay well after I'm done eating. read more

Graham Dodds has done it again!! Everything I have tried (over half the menu now hehe) was absolutely delicious. Its almost unheard of to find the farm to table aspect of cooking in a hotel & in the middle of downtown Dallas at that! The biscuits legitimately changed my life. This spot will be a Dallas staple for years to come. read more

I got the basic 2 eggs with bacon, potatoes, and a biscuit. The eggs were cooked perfectly and biscuit was one of the best I've ever had! I did not like the spice used on the bacon or the potatoes but overall it was a very good breakfast spot! It is a little pricier but it's worth it. read more

Delicious food! I loved the hash bombs And the omelette I had...amazing. We sat at the bar area and had lattes, which were also great. Service was great, too! Two thumbs up. read more

The chicken biscuit dish wasn't much to look at. Just a biscuit sliced in half with a few chicken cutlets on top of a thing strip of bacon. The honey butter wasn't plentiful like I had expected and the whole dish was overall very bland and dry. I ordered a soup to follow it up per the suggestion of a near by patron. It was good and a nice way to finish up lunch. The service was great but the first dish really put a bad taste in my mouth for an establishment that is as talked up at The Statler. Most likely will not return. read more

Came here on a day that was empty and I absolutely LOVED it as I prefer an empty restaurant at times. I ordered the perfect Omelette, the Deviled egg flight and a stack of pancakes, the food was fantastic. The service was amazing. I forgot the waiter's name, unfortunately, tall caucasian man, roundish glasses and no hair. Owns a mastiff and we spoke about it for 10 minutes. Great guy! Thank you again! We shall be returning. read more

Overeasy is fine if you praise mediocrity...The service and the food is...well...bleeeehhh. The best part of the menu is the deviled egg flight. read more

I had the brisket hash it was wonderfully hardy but the scenery was very noisy okthey also did not have APPLE JUICE and service was a bit slow not bad they were very friendly just slow read more

Thumbs up for this place, it was our first time and we had a great time, Sunday brunch was pretty busy, they told is 45 wait but we went in in less than 20. Huge shout out to the tattoo lady, she was pretty dope and genuine. The food was absolute fuego. The place is cute but yet small, that's kinda my only dislike but not too bad. The hostess needs a better stand doe, or a name tag, or a neon jacket. It was hard to find her when we got there. Over all I can't wait to have that chicken again. Final comments: I'll be back(Arnold accent) read more

Unfortunately the brisket was way too salty to eat, didn't have time to send it back and wait. read more

I had the avocado toast add eggs. Was kinda soggy but not bad. Also had a chai tea latte it wasn't the hottest but a friend got one that was hot. The hash brown bombs are very yummy. Orange juice was very refreshing. read more

The Monroes (mimosas) were tasty. The deviled egg flight was different, probably wouldn't get it again. The chicken tender biscuit and pancakes were yummy. Not much of a wait for a Saturday morning. The service was quick and friendly. read more

My boyfriend and I loved this place. We had the Ruben sandwich and chicken fried steak. We ended up sharing both plates because it was all so good, we also had margaritas to enjoy while we waited on our food, which came out very quickly. The atmosphere is beautiful and gives a modern, upscale feel that is really enjoyable when dining in downtown Dallas. Service was amazing, and we felt at ease knowing that everybody inside including patrons had their temperatures taken before being allowed inside. Overall really amazing and beautiful place read more

Spotted this place so we were driving down the street and it caught my attention so we looked it up and saw great reviews and a great menu. We went on a Sunday morning just two of us and we were able to sit at the bar. We got great service. Overall we were super impressed! We both really enjoyed our food and it came out very quickly. To start we both got coffee I got a almond milk latte which tasted amazing! Definitely one of the best almond milk lattes I have ever had. I got another one later on because it was so great. We share the deviled eggs which were very tasty and unique. We both really enjoyed our dishes they said they were definitely the best on the menu. I can tell that everything is good regardless of what you got but I definitely think that my dish which had salsa, beans, eggs tortilla chips was incredible! I got avocado on top. Everything here is very clean from the bathroom to the hotel, everything was really nice. And you can tell that all the staff works really well together to get the job done. I can hear people on the kitchen really collaborating nicely they have such a great system. And the other servers and bussers were very helpful as well. One of the associates recommended that we go to the second floor to check out the Coco Chanel designed Lounge. This was very cool. Overall really enjoyed our experience I would definitely come back and I highly recommend! read more

This place advertise fast service and they have empty tables and an order to go is quoted at 20 minutes for simple eggs and biscuits. Literally an egg McMuffin. Overrated with slow service. read more

Very nice breakfasty place in the Statler hotel with lunch/dinner all on a compact short and sweet menu. I just wish waffles were a necessity to be considered a breakfast spot. read more

Met some friends for brunch on a weekday here and it was a great experience. The best thing was definitely the Sunny Side Margarita. It was so refreshing and had some chili salt on the rim that really took it to the next level. I had the brisket hash and an order of pancakes and they both were so great! We shared the Deviled Egg Flight and left a lot to be desired. Everyone at the table agreed that everything ordered could use some salt. We had the banana cream pie to share and that was absolutely amazing. That meringue topping was so crisp at the surface and perfectly light and fluffy. Definitely big enough to share too! The waitress said the menu was still in the works so I am interested to see what items stay and what later gets added. I'd definitely venture back for that margarita for sure! read more

My expectations were high especially after reading some Thanksgiving reviews. For Christmas it was standard fare. The patrons sitting adjacent to my table agreed there was little heat on a very chilly afternoon. I opted for steak and eggs which were highly recommended by the waitress. The selection was tasty but somewhat greasy. The decor fit the building and there was a decent crowd for an afternoon that should be spent with family. The menu could be beefed up a bit and with heat it would be a nice addition to downtown and this iconic and refined hotel. read more

Just amazing. First the atmosphere of the venue is chic-- centered in Central Dallas-- one can feel the vibe here while sitting in the comfortable booth one can just get lost in the mix of comfort while enjoying some comfort food staples such as Fluffy home style biscuits slathered with the chefs family jam recipe....just pure goodness indeed. I really just need to say for me this is more like a destination in Downtown than just another place to fill yourself. Besides the stylish people who seem to wander about, you will be immersed into some sort of wonderland while you wander around the Statler Hotel on your journey to overeasy. take your time and bask in the Eclectic diversity of your surroundings while enjoying culinary goodness. read more

Amazing food and inventive direction on breakfast. I ordered the two easy and it was juuuust enough to fill me up. Service was exceptional even though they were suuuuper busy. First time here and I enjoyed it. I had the Bloody Mary to kick start my morning and it was great!! Tasted like a cucumber, pickle medley of greatness in a glass. Omelet wasn't anything special, but sausage biscuits and gravy were good! The food and service were good but nothing overly sensational. read more

Love the food and the walk in from the lobby. The vibe is interesting and really takes you back in time. I had the vegan VEGETABLE MOUSSAKA - mushroom bolognese, eggplant, cauliflower & aged balsamic and it was amazing. We loved our server and she was very attentive. Thank you! read more

This was probably the best breakfast I've ever had. The waiters are so nice and give you real suggestions for what to eat. Even though there is a moderate wait, you can order drinks and sit in the hotel lounge while waiting. The building is super cute and trendy. Every item on the menu I tried was delicious. They have a wide variety of items. My vegetarian friends were satisfied with their meal and so were my meat-lovers. If I'm ever in Dallas again, I'll definitely be returning. read more

AHHH-mazing!! We are some huge foodies from Los Angeles and we just had an amazing breakfast here we ordered the avocado toast with a poached egg, the biscuts (with honey butter and homemade raspberry jam which we were told by Red our waitress- ask for her, she is a sweetheart- that the jam is made by the chefs mother, love that!!) when youre in dallas, come here for brunch! read more
