The breakfast items I purchase (usually oatmeal or avocado toast) are perfect for me, and always served with a smile. It's an all female cast here and it gets very busy sometimes. But I always manage to find a clean table where the ladies bring my food and coffee. It's not fancy, but it's my favorite place to go in Anchorage for coffee and a bite.

But she charged me 3.75 which I'm guessing was 50 cents for whipped cream which was kinda a bummer. And since I'm a sticker connoisseur I wasn't too disappointed there were no stickers since I had messaged them on FB two months ago asking lol. I got a punch card which you only need to buy 6 drinks before you get the 7th free which is cool. Every other place you buy 9 get the 10th free. Overall this is not your typical coffee shop. It's a one lady show who makes good coffee but takes her time, has unique Hawaiian flavors and twists, but isn't cheap. I'd give it a try if you're feeling lonely and want to chat!

The fireweed donuts, which are apparently popular, was a pretty pink but just tasted like sugar. The samovar donut was a little better and had a flavor other than sugar, but didn't taste particularly fresh. I think the only thing worth getting was the samovar tea, which is what they're known for. The most prominent flavor to me was cinnamon so if you don't like that you could skip this entirely. The bathroom was also out of order the day I went this week.
