And the cashier always looks at me confused and has to ask for help to figure out how to put in a milk tea with boba at a boba shop... I like to tip but when I'm getting charged $9.50 for a plain milk tea with boba, having to pay over $10 total for the simplest classic boba order does feel bad. Also, the point system makes no sense, and the points expire. I don't live in Anchorage but I literally try to come here as often as I can. We acknowledged and took our seats. A couple of observations while we waited. There were 4 workers, and only one making sandwiches. All the patrons were waiting on something from the lunch counter. The tables and main counter all needed a good wipe down. The staff needs better time management training to handle the "crowd". (It was not very crowded but there was no sense of urgency on anyone's part to get the people waiting their food.) The staff making sandwiches should have their hair tied back. I watched multiple people leave without being helped and multiple food delivery people waited and eventually left without the food. After 30 minutes, we did receive our 3 sandwiches. Two cold ones and a grilled cheese. The cold sandwiches were just ok for the price. The grilled cheese was not quite grilled and the cheese did not melt. The lesson learned for me is to just buy the ingredients and make sandwiches. For $50+, I should have just done that. This business could be doing so much better with a good manager, better customer service, and tightening up the cleanliness.

I was visiting with the person behind the counter and I started to pick up real quick that this person had skin in the game and a passion for baking cakes, cupcakes, pies, and she added that she could make any dessert that a person could want. I am well aware that the most important ingredient in any kitchen is passion. It is apparent that they are buying in bulk! She told me that she will be making a lot of pies for Thanksgiving, pretty much any flavor that you could want. Custom cakes are the specialty.
