We were verbally asked if we wanted to leave a tip and how much, rather than being given the option to enter the tip ourselves. I personally prefer to choose the tip amount privately. They ask me about my weekend, they ask about my son and my husband, they're kind and efficient. The reason I decided to try this location again was because I was tired of unpredictable opening times of other locations on my way to work. I can always depend on getting coffee here! I'm a recent transplant to Anchorage and I have been on the search for the best chai tea latte around town. Well, good news, I found it. Chai is so often an after thought at coffee shops but this place doesn't skimp on quality. Not to mention the atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous with a multitude of houseplants to buy and little gifty type items. On nice days they open up a wall to their back patio area.
