First time in Alaska and first stop on this trip. I'm visiting for work and staying with someone who is well-versed in good spots in Anchorage, AK. Before kicking off our work day, straight from the plane, we stopped by for some coffee and burritos. Everything was extremely delicious. I got a cappuccino (12oz) and it tasted phenomenal. I was also highly impressed by their decor and branding. I was curious why the name Kaladi and did a little googling and learned it comes from the Kaladi Coffee Goat - cool. I also really digged all their merchandise - definitely high-quality design. Hopefully we stop by here again before I leave!

First oat latte after a long travel day to Anchorage and in normal Candace fashion would my first stop be anything other than a coffee shop? I think not. Service was very friendly and a nice warm drink was appreciated since I haven't been in cold weather in quite some time. I'd recommend KBC, I think it's pretty popular throughout this area but most all little coffee shops were fine. This location is very close to the airport if you need a little coffee buzz after landing.

All around excellent experience. The location is Good, the Coffee is great and the staff are excellent. Fast friendly and efficient. Great place to get some work done or just grab a cup to go.

Well... It's Kaladi Brothers. So there's that. This is a great and groovy little neighborhood hang out that is buzzing on Saturday mornings. Come early, stay late, enjoy a great cup of coffee. Carpe Capra

Large coffee shop was busy and humming this morning at 9:30a.m. Plenty of tables and seating, including a meeting room, which can be reserved. They did have a few paninis ready, and soup, so that's what we ordered. And Kaladi coffee, which is rich and hits the spot. Nice staff, attentive, helpful and professional. Love this Kaladi's.

This seems to be the best coffee in town as it is very busy in the morning, but the baristas are pretty quick. Speaking of the Baristas, they aren't quite friendly and perky in the morning -- but if that means the coffee stays of quality I'll take it. The coffee is very good and I can see why this place is well patronized. I got the 12oz Kaladi w/ Coconut Milk (for $5) and it is exceptional coffee. It needs no sweetener and the flavor is slightly robust. There are loads of seating from leather chairs to, bench seating, to couple seating areas. The ambience is mellow, with the sounds of classic & alternative rock music playing in the background. A great place to read the paper or get of the house to get some work done.

Jewel Lake Kaladi Bros has talented baristas. Most recently, I order a half-cafe 2% latte, needless to say, the latte was perfect.

It is all their fault that I am the coffee addict that I am today. Not to mention, the discriminating palate towards other brands.

Ask the Community - Kaladi Brothers Cafe

What kind of frappuccinos do they have? Is there a menu?

Hi Donna. The menu is vague. They only have Frappes listed on their iced coffee menu and you have a choice of flavors on a list posted by the register.

It's a little intimidating going to one of these for the first time and needed to look at the menu (for non coffee drinkers) Super friendly service and super tasty breakfast burritos!

It's important to know that you can only reach this stand heading eastbound as there is no left turn opening in the median going westbound. The stand itself was a little tricky to find at first since they are located in front of the car wash along with a competing coffee stand directly behind them. I pulled up to the window and a lady who I believe is one of the owners, gave me a friendly greeting. There was a biting chill to the cold wind as the sun was rapidly setting. Rather than getting the usual iced Americano, I decided to order a hot one with sugar-free Chocolate.... (syrup, not the powder for making mochas) and some heavy cream. The drink was ready with minimal wait and was the perfect choice for the advancing nighttime cold. The menu itself consists of your standard selection of mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, and frappes. They also have some food offerings that include cookies, pastries, breakfast burritos, and sandwiches among others. There are promotional items like a box lunch with a combination of food items and a coffee drink as well as specialty drinks with a Marvel-inspired one called The Hulk which is a green Red Bull drink for that extra caffeine boost. Perhaps, the one thing that stands out the most in this menu is the daily discounts they offer each day for police, military, teachers, municipal and state workers. It is a $1 discount on all coffee drinks for those that this applies to. A punch card is also given to new customers that offers a free drink after the tenth redemption. This was a good find for me as a state worker and a great way to support a new locally-owned business.

It's just a cute place to vibe at and be around the community. There is a coffee shop, plant shop, juice shop and small market in the same building which makes it worth the stop. The seasonal ginger bread chia tea from the coffee shop is like Christmas in your mouth. The turkey sandwich is like thanksgiving with cranberry sauce and pecans. The sweet potato burban cupcake was actually to die for. The cake was moist with a carm filling of pecans and bourbon topped with a light cream cheese frosting. The sausage was good though, and a bit salty, which might have balanced the seasoning in this item but the chunks were too few and big to be balanced. - messy egg salad sandwich: a lot of dill, heavy on the pickled flavor, and good red onion crunch. This was just ok. It looked better than it tasted, unless you're a fan of dill. Mainly got this sandwich to try their bread but the bread was an afterthought. - maple rhubarb muffin: hard pass. Can't taste the rhubarb and barely any maple. The bottom also was more burnt than anything. It seems they may have over mixed their batter, muffin didn't have a tender crumb.
