There have been times that when I go to order, they already have my drink made while I was standing in line! This generation of baristas is stellar! They ask me about my weekend, they ask about my son and my husband, they're kind and efficient. The reason I decided to try this location again was because I was tired of unpredictable opening times of other locations on my way to work. I can always depend on getting coffee here! This cute little coffee shack came in clutch on our recent trip to Anchorage and being just down the street from our hotel made it extra convenient. I had an iced white mocha breve with added English toffee syrup (so yum!), it was nice and smooth, not bitter and the balance between creaminess and sweetness was perfect. I kind of wonder if Alaska's clean, glacial, mountain spring water plays a role in the coffee being so good up here -- I haven't had a bad cup yet -- but I must say, Boom stood out enough to inspire me to leave this review. I also appreciate their large cup being a true large -- it actually seemed bigger than most, which I appreciated. Our barista was helpful and had a very kind demeanor. The fact that this place is open 24/7 is a major bonus in itself. We will definitely make a point to stop by next time we're in town, and you should too. Minus 1 star because they don't have a menu posted anywhere, I had to find a VERY old yelp pic for reference.
