Ambiance/Environment: It was extremely busy on Saturday, especially during dinner. Just like any other supply chain restaurant, it's very casual with plenty of tables, booths, and bar seating. Reservations are highly recommended. I made reservations the day of, and thankfully they were able to accommodate. Service: We checked in with the host, and we were seated immediately. Thank you Taylor for taking care of my family and I! She was very attentive, courteous, quick, & efficient. We appreciated that she checked on us multiple times and kept our waters full. Food & drinks: We ordered the Blooming Onion to share. This was our least favorite bc it was saltier than usual. Each of us ordered from the 3-course Aussie meal. I got the baked potato soup as my appetizer, 9 oz sirloin as my main course, and house mac n cheese as an upgrade for my side dish. The soup was delicious. The sirloin was cooked medium rare, as requested, and it was seasoned well. The house mac n cheese paired perfectly with the sirloin. I got the cheesecake with chocolate sauce. I really appreciate them for using "real" chocolate instead of a syrup. Other than the blooming onion, my family and I absolutely enjoyed everything else. Pricing: Prices are as expected. Have you ever had a meal so bad that you actually wished for Private Equity to swoop in and destroy a once proud chain of sit down restaurants? What went right? Well the place had some nice flair I suppose and they refilled my drink. Also it should be said the staff was very nice and very hard working. My hope for them is that they can catapult out of this bleak establishment and get a gig at a far superior restaurant. So what was so bad? Well the food for one. I believe my pasta was $26.99. The chicken portion was the same size and consistency of a hockey puck. I have to assume the shrimp was leftover from the big Gulf of Mexico oil spill like 15 years ago because it was disgusting. I also have no clue why my pasta was two different lengths - I almost wonder if maybe someone had it earlier and cut it up and didn't finish it so they just repurposed it. I've also seen bigger portions in microwave meals bought at the store. As far as my party goes - several orders came out wrong, or not at all. Another member of our crew had hairs (plural) in his food. Oh and don't ask for salad dressing for a salad because they won't give it to you. Maybe it was just a bad shift but I doubt it. Leaving this review for Caesar. He was so extremely helpful and kind. Today we were out to celebrate Mother's Day with my in laws as well as my sister in law's birthday. We were a table of nine and Caesar handled all the orders with ease and made us all feel welcomed! He perfectly executed the birthday brownie surprise for my sister in law as well! He was very kind, patient and helpful on such a busy day. As for the food I can't confirm because I'm vegan and so is my husband. We were in the mood for Steak and Outback was our go to, 15 minutes wait which wasn't bad cause they were busy, our server was super sweet and knowledgeable, we placed our order, appetizer came out quick, entrees took a bit of time, sadly our Steak was cooked almost well done when we order it medium. Decided to have dinner here for a late Father's Day. We've lived in Upland for 19 years and this is actually the first time we ever been in here. Restaurant was very big. Lots of people customer service was good but kind of awkward. Our waitress didn't say much just kind of to the point of things gave us our menu we sat down. We went ahead and chose what we would like to get. She came back. We placed our order she brought us our drinks first our food slowly started to come out , everything looked OK Unfortunately, for the price that it was, it was not worth it. I've been to this establishment a few times, this is the first time I've been to this outback in Upland.We ordered filet mignon and lobster. My girl had the 6 ounce and I had the 9 ounce.The filet mignon was really good. The lobster was very tasty but too small, our sides were good for beverages I had a Stella and a shot of patron. My girl had a strawberry lemonade.There's plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your meal. We visited this Outback on February 14th at around 2:45pm knowing it would be busy. We were told it'd be a 35 minutes wait, and that's exactly how long it took. Our server was running around but took our order as soon as she could. We got the blooming onion petals since they no longer do the half order. It was just enough for the 2 of us. We tried their new Delmonico 15 oz steak and it was delicious. We ordered it medium and got the garlic butter topping. I could've done without it since it made the steak a little too salty for my taste. The restaurant was clean and tables we're being cleaned rather quickly to accommodate the crowds. Giselle has EXTREMELY HORRIBLE customer service! I called twice and twice I got placed on an excessive long hold. Angel got caught in the cross path but he was attentive and displayed great customer service. Angel went above and beyond and aI continue to try to give this particular location chances because it's close to my home. I shouldn't have to drive elsewhere for great customer service. I'm not even asking for great just good genuine service. If you're having a bad day you leave it at home or at the door. I did speak with the Manager Samantha who was empathetic and she said she would be speaking with Giselle! They weren't busy to continue to put me on excessive holds was diabolical. The fact that Giselle thought it was funny was crazy to me. There's real life mentally unstable people out here who could go inside and crash out! For a restaurant who raised prices so high, the least they could do is prepare orders correctly. A side salad now comes with about 1 oz of dressing. Seriously? The lids on sauces are never sealed properly. Every time I've ordered a sweet potato with all the toppings plus the extra offered on the site, I end up with NO toppings or like this time when it's 2 teaspoons of brown sugar that looks like it's been in an unsealed container on a back shelf for a year. The coconut shrimp used to come with 8 and apparently they've changed it to 6 while raising the price. Our meal of apps and sides came to over $100, and yet everything except the soup had issues. Marcus was very welcoming and made sure we were very well taken care of. It was our first time here and he made sure we understood all the options & the foods we were ordering. He welcomed us with warm bread and a side of butter, perfect to get our taste buds rolling. We ordered the sirloin and rib with potatoes and the sirloin was juicy and delicious. The outback burger came with crunchy fries and it was full of flavor. The shrimp and chicken fettuccine alfredo was tecture rich and with the right portions. The sauce was creamy and delicious, some.places make it dry ornsoo watery, thins was spot on. Although the chocolate cake looked amazingly delicious we had no more room for dessert. The place was very clean, the tables were well kept, the restroom was clean and everyone was very down to earth. I liked the casual attire and the comoderie of the place. Ordered take out meals. The steaks were overcooked and there was one bread for 5 meals. Paying well over $100 would think the bread would be included. Also the napkins were cocktail napkins. Came here with friends at 6:30 on a Saturday night and there was about a 30-45 minute wait so we put our name down and sat outside while we waited because it was pretty crowded in the waiting area inside. We received a text that our table was ready and went in. We were pretty promptly seated towards the front of the restaurant so I didn't get a good look at the entire place, but it was really busy with plenty of servers. I got the Christmas drink and it came with a cute little koala, and I also split a surfing turf dish with my friend which was pretty worth because the portions were huge. Dined at-this location last night. Not a great experience with their new bone in ribeye. Over half of it was fat. It was very chewy. I buy this at the store and cook it at home and it's fine if I'm gonna pay $45 for one in the restaurant it should be better than this. I told our waiter to tell the manager manager never came over. I just wanted him to know... as a side for it we ordered the onion skins - they charge another two dollars not worth it. There was so little there. We are almost bi weekly regulars at the outback across the street from Ontario mills love the service the efficiency of the staff/management with that being said I missed an exit and decided to switch it up and come here to the upland location i almost did not recognize the franchise we sat by the bar area the bartender seemed very friendly towards her regulars at the bar top but ignored our friendly yet glares of help after getting our waters completely ignored us for 15-20 min we never got our bread then we finally got a waitress to attend us she simply asked us if we needed help to order appetizers on the tablet we asked for bread and a appetizer the table behind us who came 5 minutes after us I don't think they ever got service walked up and left we are currently waiting for our appetizer to pay and walk out and like the table behind us will be staying to dine will never come back to this location read more

There was a mix up with the order and while waiting for postmates to respond we reached out to the restaurant and spoke with the male manager on duty around 615pm 10/22. He went ABOVE and BEYOND to correct the situation. He not only remade our entire order, but he personally delivered it to us within 30 mins. I have been to another Outback in the past and had not been back because the steak was over cooked. This location changed my mind in a positive way. I had the steak cooked in the chimichurri medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. My partner had the filet minion and lobster and they were both cooked perfectly. The baked potatoes and the blooming onion was amazing. Definitely get the dessert, the ice cream on the brownie with pecans. The service was amazing as well. Went for lunch and server tried to serve us on a dirty bar counter. This Was the beginning...we are not complainers but needed to express our experience as things continued to multiply. Asked about specials and was told "not on weekends", then I looked on the table "self ordering gadget" and saw the 3 meal deal that she didn't tell us about (wish I could remember her name).Once the order came (took longer than most, we go often) my favorite baked potato was so over cooked I couldn't even cut the skin. We hade to get our own saddle for the bar and our salt and pepper. Server was polite and probably over worked as they were under staffed. We were ready to pay the bill but wanted the manager to know that things were not up to par. Here's the kicker, WHEN WE ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER, HE CAME TO THE BAR AND WE KINDLY SAID THAT WE FREQUENT OFTEN AND ALWAYS ARE HAPPY WITH OUR SERVICE BUT BEFORE WE COULD EVEN TELL HIM WHAT OUR CONCERNS WERE HE STARTS WALKING AWAY SAYING, "I'LL TAKE CARE OF YOUR BILL" AS IF TO DISMISS ANY INTEREST IN HEARING WHAT WAS WRONG, UNTIL WE CALLED HIM OUT ON IT. This was our goto spot living nearby at our apartment. Always enjoyed the food and they had multiple good meals to choose from but the toomba salmon was my favorite. The staff knew us because we went there so often and we could walk there which made it convenient. Great local neighborhood spot. Also I recommend the bloomin shrimp and the makers mate. read more

The hubby and I stopped in last week because I was craving an awesome blossom. I got the new awesome blossom steak with French onion soup and my hubby got ribs and steak. We both loved our food! But my hubby's steak arrived medium instead of well done so his initial reaction was that of disappointment. But once remedied, he really enjoyed It. My steak was a perfect medium well And very well seasoned! The French onion soup was more like a dip! It was served in a sauce cup, but it was jammed packed with flavor.
