On dec 24 2025 I did a online order as a gift for a elderly man I live in cda idaho I went online and ordered from outback in upland at 530 n mountain ave upland. on the order sheet it asked for name so for filet mignon i put dick i didnt know his last name then i ordered rib eye bone in for terry. when terry went to pick up order a big guy came out to hand it to him an he acted like he wanted to fight terry ... he said that terry was calling him a dick. Terry is 76 years old man and didnt understand why this guy was being smart with him he would not let terry shut his door. if the outback doesnt want us to put a name then it shouldnt ask when ordering. i paid alot to place this order and the poor guy picking it up should not have been harassed. he seemed to think dick was meant for him sad for someone to take something so innocent from a paying customer.. i will be calling corporate office on friday day after Christmas. i did call store twice to speak to manager with no satisfaction read more

Came here on a Tuesday at about 5pm. It wasn't busy and got sat in a booth in the bar area. We came specifically for the Boomarita margarita flight that's been advertised online and this location apparently doesn't have it because it's not on the menu and when I asked the waiter about it he just shook his head like he had no idea what I was talking about. So I just ended up getting a dos equis which they have in the bottle and got the steak and shrimp pasta. The food was good. Service was not good at all. We got seated right away. Waitresses was helping a couple beside us. She did not even acknowledge us at all. We through we would have another waitress. I had to go in the front to ask if there is a waitress were we are seating? She said let me get her. Then after 10 mins we were getting up to leave she walked over. Guess what it was the waitress that was helping the couple beside us. She was not good at all. We will have to drive out farther to Covina for our next outback outing. read more

Why haven't I visited this local Outback sooner? We had such a great dining experience tonight thanks to Yaya! She was so attentive and patient when I had so many various dietary requests. I went back to Outback Steak House in Upland today to get the rest of our food. I was talking to the manager and he was very apologetic as for why we were missing items that we ordered and he said that is not acceptable. He told he was sorry and asked me if I had 15 minutes. I said I could wait. He told me he would remake our entire order. That was above and beyond what I was expecting. The food was right this time and very good as always. Normally, we love coming here for a quick dinner, but tonight was terrible service! Waitress forgot simple condiments that were asked for multiple times. Wrong dressing given with salad. Alcoholic drinks were wrong. No check up during meal or even asked for refills. Waitress disappears for long periods of time, comes back and says "I'm sorry, we were having a meeting". The Food was very okay. That's the main thing I can say about the food I had today. The bloomin' onion was probably the best item I ordered, however the bloomin' burger was probably one of the worse burgers I've had in recent history. The burger was so greasy that you are unable to taste many of the ingredients in the burger. It was so greasy even the lettuce and plate was glisening with oil. Additionally the pickles in the burger were so strong with dill and vinegar that you are unable to taste anything else when you get a bite of them. Lastly, the bun was completely soaked in oil and extremely soggy as a result of the grease. When you are sat down you are provided with bread as well as butter, which tastes pretty good as far as a loaf of bread goes. The staff was extremely slow, but very friendly and makes sure you are well taken care of even though they have a mountain of tasks (perhaps due to dining during a holiday). We came literally when they opened. For the first time we did the unlimited soup and salad and upgraded to get the onion soup and wedge salad. Sooooooo worth it!! Only downer was that the second bowl of soup was significantly smaller than the first one. It did take us asking for seconds to actually gets seconds. Came in Wednesday night for the deal they had going on, with my daughter. The appetizer Aussie cheese fries half of the order was raw and soggy. Ordered shrimp with steak, asked well done for both items. The steak tasted like beef jerky and the shrimp was burnt. Then ordered a steak plate medium well with a baked potato, the steak was rare and cold. And the baked potato was cold but I kept it and returned the steak. The beer was flat and I had let my server Samantha know and I all I got was a giggled and said "that's weird and walked away" so I decided to walk to bar and get another beer. We were seated within 10 minutes and the waiter was very attentive to our group. Unfortunately I did not catch his name. I had the BBQ chicken with broccoli and sweet potato. All three were top notch. No complaints. Maybe the best I've had in a while. My wife had the prime rib but it was a bit over cooked. The waiter told us ahead of time so no issue here. Took 15 minutes for our server to greet us, and another 10 minutes to get something to drink. 2. We asked for medium on 2 of our steaks and they were medium rare. 3. The latest round will be our last, basically everything was terrible. Lobster tail looks like it's been sitting out on the table for a few days and smells like it too. What's that dead bug? Shrimp also seems to have been out too long and it was also undercooked, as in still gray. Steak dishes were blackened on the outside and rare in the middle, like the stove is way too hot.
