Perfect service perfect food. Always clean, friendly kind staff make you feel welcome. From the hosts to the managers.

A for effort. It well staffed in the front of the house and waitress, food runners and manager are wonderful. They want to make sure you get best experience possible and are all genuine connectors. Facilitating relationships between tables. Everyone was laughing , carrying on and yes interacting :) It was a great environment. My son loves the endless bread, "best" butter and ice cream. I love the blooming onion (old classic), solid entrees and salads full of plentiful dressing (because fuck calories). The specialty drinks may throw you into diabetic shock (similar to Chili's or Applebees). I'd love for them to elevate their cocktails by adding a "low sugar" option. But until then it's NBD... Because of the staff flexibility. I ordered one blackberry sangria that was straight sugar... And promptly followed by ordering another shot of vodka and a glass of club soda. All good. Combined it was solid 2 drinks and it was delivered far quicker than other less staffed establishments. My son and I split the bone in ribeye and lobster with many sides and everything was solid. Slightly inconsistent between dishes, but overall solid. And again the attentive service in the front of the house is far and above other post-Covid establishments. That's why we'll be back. Beyond that, a lot of Outback's are franchises. I'm betting some solid local business owners are behind this one. Cheers! read more

I am so confused. I ordered Outback carryout yesterday. I had my usual, hot kookaburra wings and Aussie fries without bacon. It was the worst meal I've ever had at an Outback. The wings weren't spicy or even flavorful and the fries were undercooked. My son had a chicken sandwich and he said it was ok but he's 12 so most things are ok to him. I am really disappointed because I'd been craving that meal for over a week now. Smh. read more

Worst experience ever! We go to Outback in Springfield all the time & it's usually great! Not tonight! We did call ahead seating, got there & checked in like 15 minutes early, was told it would be about a 20-30 minute wait, no problem. 45 minutes later, I went in to ask how much longer, they forgot about us! So they sat us immediately. We ordered, got our drinks, shortly after got the blooming onion, no bread, so I asked for the bread, ofcourse she was very apologetic, but than forgot the bread, again! In the meantime, our waitress, Amanda, was talking to her friends at the booth behind us, they got their bread & salads before us, but we're seated after us! Finally brought our food out, ofcourse it was the wrong food. We finally got the right food, which wasn't hot anymore! Half way through our dinner, walked by & I said, excuse but you can forget about the salads that we never got, do you about 10 minutes later, someone else brought our salads out! Which were wrong anyway! The whole dinner was horrible! So after we paid, I asked to see the manager, when the manger was on her way over, our waitress ran up to her & told her what her version was. The manger gave us $20 off our next visit, but it was so bad, horrible! read more

August 2021, 1pm lunch stop, 2 couples we stopped for a delicious meal. The restaurant was not busy. One hour later, and after bugging our server where is the food for the 20 minutes. The manager stopped at the table and said they were short staff snd she was the cook and doing it all. read more

Ordered online and received a confirmation for curbside pickup at 6:23pm. Being New Years eve, there were about 50 cars waiting to pickup their orders. Waited 30min, decided to call for the status of my order. Was told they are running about 45min late but will let them know that I was waiting for my order. Called again 15min later, was told that they are running 1hr behind but gave me the option to cancel my order. Told them I just waited over a hour and your are asking me if I wanted to cancel my order? Was told my order will be ready in 15min, called again 20min later to find out they cancelled my order. Wasted over 1hr & 30min to find out they cancelled my order without notifying me. Speaking with manger Elisa was complete waste of time. She's the one that cancelled my order and had the balls to ask me if I wanted to wait for my order. Are you kidding me??? Worse service I experienced and would never recommend this place. If you like waiting for your food and run by horrible management, this is the place to be. read more

An Outback is an Outback is an Outback. Is there anything different about his one? Yes there are two things and neither of them are good. 1. Believe it or not this is one of the busiest Outback's in the entire chain! This in little ole Springfield, PA. As a result on Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights and any holiday it is completely, ridiculously insane. Would you believe two hour waits! I wouldn't wait two hours for the hottest Steven Starr restaurant never mind an at best average steak in a chain atmosphere! 2. The parking lot is a joke. The Outback crazies overwhelm it. What fun driving around and around looking for a space. If you are dying to eat in a chain restaurant you're in the right place. This section of Baltimore Pike is lousy with them. None of them are great but some of them are better than here. I will give the bartenders a couple of points. If I'm shopping in the area I'll sometimes stop in at odd times (3:00 PM) for a beer. read more

I've never had the chance to truly tell my Outback story on Yelp. Mainly because I haven't been back to this particular location in 6 or 7 years. It was one of those nights that scares you away from a place forever. You see, there was a time I was a semi-regular here. Back in 05 and 06, I lived in an apartment in Springfield with my girlfriend (now my wife). We used to get take out from here and eat it at home. That used to be a better option than waiting two hours for a table. I'd call the order in from work, and pick it up on the way home. It was enjoyable then. Then that night happened. It was a perfect storm of bad experiences. Not only did a chicken breast come out of the kitchen that night half raw on my plate, something in the bathroom blew up to the point they had to evacuate. I still am not sure what happened. But I never went back. Until today when I happened to be here around lunchtime. Call it curiosity. I can never figure out how Outback stays in business. I've had Outback at other locations since and been underwhelmed. I don't see the allure. I figured they would be ok since I was just in the mood for a quick burger. That's what I grabbed, along with a Caesar salad and baked potato soup. First of all, nothing I ate here today seemed to have any real flavor to it. If the soup didn't have bacon in it, it would be worthless. As my good man Tom, fellow Delco Yelper pointed out, the salad tastes like they keep it in the fridge forever and douse it with dressing. The burger, it wasn't terrible, but I think I can get better burger experiences from Wendy's or McDonald's. Even the bacon on the burger didn't have a lot of flavor to it. If you can't get flavor out of bacon, you're just not trying. I still don't get the allure. You can get better greasy food at a drive thru. read more

Decided to go here because the longhorn steakhouse had a long wait. Walked in with no waiting for a seat plenty available (unusual). First point of order drinks & a blooming onion. Wife got a strawberry daiquiri which went straight back, came in a short 12 oz. Glass, no whipped cream and tasted like it had no alcohol and extremely sweet. After setting about 20 minutes we asked about the onion and the soup? A few minutes later the onion arrived with apolige from manager telling us they will take care of it. Which they did. The rest of the meal was spot-on. It started slow but they pulled through very professionally, service could not have been better. read more

The food was excellent however our server was either new or careless. Our meal was late on a Thursday not many people in the restaurant. our server served the food as if it was a drive-by or drop off just dropped it and walked pass quickly leaving food on the edge of the table where could possibly fall on the floor. She was not attentive at all asking if we wanted a Nother drink refill of water or anything. My husband ordered a Guinness Stout beer and she asked if he wanted ice in it. They had this lengthy conversation which led me to believe she had no idea that Guinness that was a beer although the conversation was driven around us ordering a beer. read more

Great food and great and fast service and the ambiance was great too! One of my favorite restaurants by far!

Enjoyed lunch with my family here. I'm not one to bother the kitchen about my food if there isn't anything wrong but the 8oz Sirloin Steak I order looked fairly small. My aunt and I thought it was hilarious! After putting in my concern with my waitress, she kindly asked the manager to help with my concern and they were able to replace the little guy with the real deal ! Thank you! read more

A chain restaurant with a huge waiting to get in line on a Wednesday night? I couldn't believe it, but it was true. The place was restaurant was crowded with dinners with yet another crowd waiting to be seated. Eventually I went in along with 10 others and have to confess that the food was very good, particularly the blooming onion and though they had heard of preparing meat Pittsburgh but didn't know how to do it, I can overlook. I wouldn't stand in line to get into this place as it is an Outback just like all the other Outback's, but I did have a very pleasant prime rib meal along with really good, friendly, professional wait service. read more

Came here for dinner last night and surprisingly was seated right away on a Saturday night no wait. I ordered the blooming onion for appetizer (it was very greasy) an only cold eat a few peels. For my entree I ordered the Ribeye Steak with garlic mash potatoes an broccoli. The ribeye didn't look like any ribeye I've ever seen an it's usually tender .. The potatoes seem like they had been arnd awhile an was not creamy the way I wld have liked..The broccoli was good. No server issues she was great an checked on us several times through out our dinner. read more

Just got outback takeout which I do atleast 5 times a month. I've been letting it go but with the price and amount I order from here I'm starting to get annoyed. This time and 3 times prior they gave little to none cheese or bacon for 2 orders of loaded mashed potatoes. Almost as if it was a pinch. No joke. I know things are tough right now with the virus but the prices aren't going down so I should be getting what I pay for. And I ordered a medium well steak. It was medium rare. I had to cook it more at home: what's the point of spending $40 for a meal to be prepared then? Idk I love outback but some things being over looked. I was excited for my meal then when I get home it took more work to prepare then anything. Also ordered loaded baked potato soup last week and the cup wasn't maybe 1/4 of the way full. That's ignorant. Idk if I'll be returning. Oh and the coconut shrimp ? Where's the coconut? This is wrong on so many levels. Usually they're out of this world. My mom gets this every single time and there's like 3 little shreds of coconut on each shrimp. We're in the same situation too without a paycheck right now. But if you wanna keep your doors open why not keep quality food.... read more

What ever the round onion thing was, it was yummmmmmmy! Nice and crispy on the outside with tender sweet onions in the inside. I ordered a 8oz sirloin medium well but it came out sliced very uneven and some parts were medium and the thicker parts were rare. It was also chewy and spit some of it out because of it. My daughters steak was also done medium not medium well and she also had difficulty chewing hers and spit it out as well. My friend got a ribeye and it came out sliced very thin and was also medium not medium well as well as his French fries were flimsy not crispy. Our waitress forgot the lemons for our water and after asking for lemons we proceeded to wait 20 minutes for them but had finished the water before we got them. The waitress walked passed our table 6 times before asking if we wanted more water or needed anything else. The service was terrible for barely any customers eating. I've been coming here for years and never had such an awful experience. I won't be returning anytime soon or maybe not at all. This was at the Wyomissing location for anyone else who frequently eats there. read more

They are slow. They need more help they say a time and they are 1 hour late on our order. Most staff are ignorant, they need to be nicer.

I ate here with some former colleagues to celebrate the holidays. I have been to this Outback several times over the years and never seemed to have a problem with the food until tonight. Everything just tasted off. The food was just sloppy, overall. We ordered the appetizer sampler and it looked like someone literally threw the food on the plate. The food was not hot at all. Out of the five people (including myself), only two of us enjoyed the meal. And out of those two, one person had to send the food back to be warmed up because it came out cold. I ordered a medium burger, but it came out well done to the point that it was crispy. The burger patty was split into halves but not the whole burger with the bun. It was as if someone wasn't sure how to cook a burger so they checked it by cutting the whole patty into two. Another person got the salmon which was raw and mushy while another colleague ordered the chicken quesadilla and did not like it either. The three of us did not eat our food. The manager offered to make us something else but we declined and he removed it off of our bill. Like I mentioned, I have eaten here several times in the past and everything was fine. Maybe they were just having an off night. It's important to note how nice all of the staff were during our visit. From the hostess to the waitress to the manager, they were all very nice and professional. I will go back at some point to try it out again. read more

Arrived at location approx 12:45pm on Sunday, August 18. We had 9 ppl total in our party. Upon arrival we were told we couldn't be seated until all our guests arrived. And that since we were a party of 9, we had to wait for a manager to be seated. Wow, 2 guests were 5 mins away. Then once our guests arrived we were told it would be a 23 minute wait. There was another party of at least 3, and one party of 5, who were also told to wait. It wouldn't have been an issue IF the restaurant wasn't empty. Literally 2-3 tables filled in the entire restaurant. We left and took our party of 9 to Hibatchi Steakhouse in Springfield. I'm not sure what's going on with making customers wait even while the restaurant is empty. You will not keep customers returning acting that way. read more

Every time we come here we usually do not have any issues and if for some reason we do they go out of their way to correct it and even take it off of your bill which I think is very professional and very nice courtesy because trust me I've been the places who just don't really care and this isn't one of them. My only downfall here is there's always a long wait time. I assume because obviously it's outback steakhouse they have great food great appetizers and a friendly staff so it comes with the territory. Are usually have my family with me but if you're somebody who's just stopping in on a date or by yourself there's usually always sitting at the bar available and I've also been in there waiting and they bring out samples of the Bloomin onion while you wait.
