The hash had potato chunks and I feel that hash like hash browns would've worked better for crispiness and texture . Quality of food is good. I still enjoyed my eggs but I didn't get the feeling I have felt from before of how fresh the eggs had been in my past visits. Maybe I got lucky in the past or got used to that level of quality and can't tell now but this place has understandably never guaranteed same day fresh eggs either. Good afternoon. Today, my family--a party of seven--and I visited the First Watch location to celebrate Mother's Day. We checked in at 10:30 AM and waited from that time until 12:30 PM. The manager on duty kept pointing out a specific table, indicating that it was meant for us, only to give it to other people instead. It was very good, perfect amount of seasoning and my egg was crispy in all the right places. The challa french toast was listed as having cinnamon and sugar, which turned to be a light dusting of each, lacking in that classic cinnamon sugar flavor. The power wrap was bland as well. This place gives people a unique experience! They have meals here for breakfast lunch and brunch, all different than the norm for dishes but tasty as far as I've had. They also have a juice bar with some switched out to give the chance to try other new juices! This place is great. Don't come around the week end if you are concerned about noise. I had breakfast here today, my first time in the restaurant. The place is very clean and bright. Our waitress, Kaitlynn, was so pleasant, professional, and helpful. She was especially careful about allergy safety. She alerted the staff in the back about the need to keep dairy, nuts, eggs, tree nuts, etc, away from my granddaughter's order. She went above and beyond! The menu was refreshingly different while still including the old breakfast standbys. Carrot cake pancakes were outstanding! A rare event for us to dine at a restaurant in Springfield. We were running out -of -town errands and wanted brunch and ended up here. Nice for parking (coming from the city this always feels like a luxury). Our service was stellar and the place is nice with spread-out tables and booths and lots of light. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, my daughter ordered the brisket hash and we shared the skillet cornbread. My sandwich was ok. I didn't alert my server, but the avocado tasted over- ripe so I scraped it off. The brioche was a bit soggy and the egg didn't really run. The potatoes were good, however! My kid's brisket hash was decent but no "wow" factor. This is an ok place to get brunch. It wasn't delicious but it definitely wasn't terrible. Let me just start out by saying our server was incredible. She came to check on us several times. She was very personable and attentive. I wish I knew her name. I loved the rustic look of the restaurant. The food was pretty good. I just wished my hashbrowns were a little more browned. Service was top notch and the food was delicious. My kids had regular pancakes and the chocolate chips ones. I had the lemon ricotta ones. Oh man, were the pancakes so fluffy. It has a nice crisp but so soft on the inside. I ordered a side of chicken sausage with it (needed something other than carbs on top of carbs). It was definitely on the list of top chicken sausages I've had. My husband had an omelet. I had a bite of his and the mushrooms that they served in it was sooooo good. The service was good, but the building was pretty cold and was very busy, so if you want to eat here, expect to wait some time. Then, I had to go to the bathroom. Both service and food have been great the few times I have gone. I tend to stick with the "The Works" omelette with extra mushrooms. Oh man, the mushrooms are so flavorful and taste so fresh. The sauce was so yummy! For dessert I ordered the Carmel crunch cinnamon roll to take home. Anyone with a sweet tooth should order it. The carmel was served warm on the cinnamon roll & it was sprinkled w/Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. The roll was very big & I shared it with my husband. Breakfast at a place like this should not feel rushed, as we like more coffee and maybe a sweet end after our eggs, so I recommend to mgt to adjust the policy here. On to the food. BLT bennies were good. Eggs were getting cold when brought to me. Still edible. Side salad was lacking dressing. Salmon bennies were better (both, temperature and there was dressing on the salad, so reco to check for consistency). Blueberry pancakes and waffles were good (although we would have ordered maybe more if we did not feel rushed). Probably best of this place is the healthy options they have, including freshly squeezed juices. With minor adjustments mentioned, I'd be happy to adjust the rating to 5 stars. While the food was excellent First Watch Restaurants, Inc. and location management had better clean up their act. They've only been open for only a few months and you have one chance to make a first impression. It's note worthy to say there were only saw two waitresses at lunch time, and one was the hostess/cashier. When my sister and I first walked in we witnessed the Hostess/cashier trying to help a patron who was checking out. She waited a good long while for management to bring change then was berated by the manager in front of customer's. Never a good idea to berate an employee in front of patrons. After we were seated inside by the cashier/hostess I went to the ladies room to wash my hands. At 1:15pm the loo's trash can was overflowing and noted paper on the stall's floor. The main room was too cold so I asked for and were seated outside where we waited and waited for someone to wipe off the table. I asked for napkins and when the food was served it was served without utensils. However.... I ordered the Sweet Honey Pecan Salad/Half Ham-Cheese-Tomato and my sister had the Lemon/Ricotta Pancakes. The taste of both dishes and presentation was excellent. So, the visit was not a wash. I'm hoping First Watch Restaurants, Inc. gets their stuff together because every other location has been wonderful and I think they'd do well in Springfield, 19064. read more

I had heard friends talking about this place and do when I saw I was near one, I had to come try it. All of the food was well-cooked and delicious. My iced coffee was super yummy too. The restaurant itself was very open and breezy, noisy with chatter but not overwhelmingly so. Our last experience at a first watch was awful, but this location was on our way to a place we were going an hour or so away from home. Saturday at around noon the wait was 30 min. The food was AMAZING. The eggs Benedict was fantastic although one egg was poached medium hard. The dressed greens are so good! The home fries are incredible! Our server prob needs a new career choice because she didn't seem to have a friendly bone in her body and we had to ask another server for drink refills. I love first watch in general but this location does not do it for me. The quality of the food is not comparable other first watch locations. For example, I always get fruit and today I got fruit that was either unripe or close to mold - and unlike other locations that give a variety of fruit they only had pineapple and grapes neither of which looked appealing. The sausages and potatoes are always overbooked and burnt. The only tasty thing had been the pancakes and French toast. It is most disappointing that I don't have this same experience at other locations and I had such high hopes for this new location.
