The dining area was very clean and had a faintly rustic feel. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes, too, but never felt rushed. There were plenty of vegetarian options. I'm not too sure about it if you have to avoid dairy or gluten; the menu has a lot of that. Unfortunately, since the recent staff turnover, the quality and consistency have gone downhill significantly. My drink now seems to taste different almost every time I order it, even though I order the same thing. Instructions aren't consistently followed, and on my most recent visits my latte wasn't even filled to the top of the cup. When you're paying over $8 for a latte, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the cup to be full and the drink to be made consistently. What has bothered me most is that on occasions when I haven't left a tip at the counter, I've felt like the quality or care put into my drink was noticeably different. I obviously can't say whether that is intentional, but as a customer, I should never leave feeling that way. A tip is optional and should never determine the quality of the product someone has already paid for. I really hope the owner sees this and provides the newer staff with more training on recipes, consistency, customer instructions, and service. I was a loyal customer who truly loved this place and told so many about it, but after repeatedly paying premium prices for inconsistent drinks, I've decided I won't be returning. There is also plenty of parking next door at the train station so don't let this busy street stop you from coming in. The music was awesome. Sounds like it is a sign in and play day. The talent was AMAZING!!! The stage was large with tons of seating. You can see the top notch sound system on hand. We sat in the front area (sounds like there may be a back dining room as well). There was 8 of us in a room that seats about 12. The food was amazing (check out my pics)!! We loved every single bite! Not a single complaint from any of us... My only issues were that the food took forever to come (over an hour but not a big deal in the scheme of thing). From the dining area we could not see the talent but we enjoyed the sound. They need a TV screen so we can watch from the dining area. The waitress was a teen that was DEFINITELY not properly trained. We had to go up and get our own napkins, forks, spoons. etc... And we cleaned up after ourselves. The friendly teen was definitely overwhelmed as there was a customer coming to complain about wait time. They had an older lady that was near the sign up that was doing nothing. She saw us going to grab silverware and didn't offer to help.. just moved out of the way so we can help ourselves. No smile when I paid (over $100 for our crew). I also came with my own "Birthday" table sign and wore a birthday sash .. one would think ONE person would say happy birthday or acknowledge our large table? nope The place was packed by the time we finished eating so no place to sit and watch the talent. So for next brunch.... I will order.. then sit and watch the talent and take my food to go... . The food and music is so worth it...
