I had a watermelon salad and a passion fruit slushie and a Lemon sorbet. I had the lemon sorbet because a friend of mine was having it and I preferred lemon and creamier things over chocolate. It was fine but kind of mainstream for me. Their dessert menu was all very straightforward options pretty much. I think the menu has changed a lot from many years ago- my salad was fresh for a Tuesday evening especially. There were a variety of slushie flavors with nice combinations. The quantity would be a little for some, but it was enough for me since it had alcohol and that kept the prices more reasonable. Had a local bachelorette for myself which was hosted by my bridal party. We were all very excited to try Tavolas based upon their website and instagram, however, the restaurant did not make the night special. My maid of honor had booked a table for 11 people (she had her mothers retirement there with more people mind you) and we were seated on their very large outdoor space but not the patio as stated on the reservation. The restaurant is all pretty open to the course and it appeared there was more "patio" area elsewhere. The hostess brought us to the fire pit depicted in the one photo and placed menus on the fire pit and walked away. We were confused as we thought we were getting a table, after going back up to her she said we could have the table next to it as she did not know and that we had the fire pit as well, which was a plus! The disappointing part was that it was never turned on for us. It took several minutes for a waiter to come over to greet us, and triple that to get our first round of drinks. When drinks were brought there were still 3 missing but were eventually brought out. All of our drinks were in wine glasses which was strange and we did not get wine. Our prosecco had the proper glassware however. The waiter then walked away but we called him back as we wanted to get appetizers. We placed them and off the waiter went. While we sipped and toasted another waiter come over stating they had a glass of champagne for someone at the table which had a piece of fruit on the bottom. I had a bride to be sash on and we assumed someone saw it and had treated me to it. Well 10 minutes later and almost done the drink they came over and said "actually that drink was not meant for this table". Did they expect us to return it? Why even say that to a party? That was not our mishap. How oblivious that I am a bride to be as well? Just very odd. It took forever for our food and drinks even more so. There was a decent crowd but nothing extreme. We all felt like it took forever, not just me, and one of the women works at a very busy and fast paced restaurant and she even agreed. Our server was just okay and did not make the night feel special nor did any staff for that matter. For the food--The peach crostini appetizer was pretty good but everyone could tell they were canned cold peaches on the crostini. Cheesesteak egg rolls were mediocre. I ordered an appetizer for my main which was the tuna poke. That was decent and fresh but could have had more sauce/dressing. No one at the table raved about their food. Once we got our food we never saw our waiter till the end when we were all over it and ready to leave, especially since their live music went from upbeat summer vibes to depressing jazz music. After we were done taking some group pictures and paid we left. Never got a congratulations, come again, nothing. Honestly I am so disappointed which is disheartening as I was excited for the night and the decor/atmosphere, which all that it has going for this place. This place is one of my family's favorite places to go. The resturant and bar area is really great. I love that inside/outside feel especially with the open walls overlooking the golf course. Sometimes they have music. The food is very good. We haven't had a meal we didnt like. Also the drinks are delicious. I love the different alcoholic coffee drinks! The service is always great. Enjoyed another beautiful day on this earth eating lunch at Tavola's. Ate outdoors under the newly renovated and covered outdoor area overlooking the golf course. We decompressed over a pair of frozen strawberry coladas--very fresh tasting and not too sweet with homemade mixer and strawberry purée. I was craving a hamburger and got the black and blue. My moist burger came medium--adorned with bacon and blue cheese and copious amounts of sweet banana peppers. I took off the bun to make it gluten free perfection. Only silence came from across the table as my hubby intently devoured his Grilled Rubin. I can only infer his silence to be food induced so I'll say no more. Recently had lunch at Tavola with some friends. Good food selection as well as drinks. I had a shrimp salad wrap and it was delicious.

Probably one of the worst food experiences I've had in some time. This restaurant they say is part of Springfield Country Club and the Courtyard Marriott. We sat and ordered drinks. Our waitress Gisele was so sweet and helpful as best she could be. The wings for an app were great. Then it was downhill. I ordered frites. Absolutely the worst I have ever had and instead of medium it was well done and chewy like you wouldn't believe. I called Gisele over and she knew before I even said anything. She approached the table saying sorry before I told her the problem. My son's burger was a frozen burger like you would get from Costco. He said it was ok. The best part about the meal was the truffle fries 10 out of 10 just the best. We Asked for a pizza to go as we weee staying at the hotel and they told us the pizza guy left so we couldn't get one. The manager was lovely and was very apologetic. We got dessert to go but the crème brûlée couldn't be taken to go so we ate it there and it was awful. Just like something you would get in the frozen aisle. They removed the steak frites and dessert from the bill. It was the worst food experience but Gisele and the manager were nice. My Wife and I have been to Tavola on multiple occasions and it never fails. On this occasion we went to a BBQ event they were hosting and I am glad we went. The buffet offered all you can think of from brisket, fried chicken, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and greens. They also had great live music and bourbon tasting which contributed to a great atmosphere. The service was attentive and ensured that nothing was empty as we ate to our hearts desire. Super noisy. It seems to be one of those restaurants that does not know to have more than one server to bring out the meals at one time with a large party. They brought one person's meal. Ten minutes later they brought out two more meals . Then 10 minutes later they brought out the other meals. We ordered two Caesar salads with dressing on the side, and both came out wrong-- one gloppy with dressing and the other with no dressing and none to follow. I ordered shrimp and grits and it wad awful. I like spicy and this was way too spicy for me, so I assume it would be inedible for the typical diner. We ordered two pizzas, and only one came. The other came as every one had finished eating.. My sister ordered a poke bowl which came out with no rice and looked more like a tiny serving of carpaccio or tartare. Inattentive management. We really like the open atmosphere in bar and outdoor area. Problem here is that you can't get a decent martini or cocktail. Bar staff are young and somewhat inexperienced so everything comes out overly sour or too sweet, with very little alcohol. Best to stick to beer or wine only. read more

I hosted a cocktail reception for about 40 people on Tuesday. Tavola was absolutely amazing to work with, making it super easy to host this event within our budget. Even short-staffed (due to someone calling out sick), they absolutely nailed it. The food was great, brought out over time so it was hot. Service was also great and I have to give major kudos to Sophie, their manager. She was so pleasant to work with and when I saw her jump behind the bar to help out, I knew she was the real deal. We've eaten here a few times to prepare for our upcoming wedding. The restaurant was willing to accommodate us for an informal meet & greet with guests the night before the wedding. Steven Smith, the restaurant GM, is awesome - very patient, kind and responsive. We like their pizza crust and highly recommend the quesadilla (which have cheese and onions and peppers -- so delicious). We saw they also do charity events, which is very heart-warming. And the space itself is beautiful!!! Incredible patio with fans and great views of the golf course. Had a private party here and it was excellent. Steven was my main constant and was extremely helpful in setting up the private party. Our waitress was very accommodating and attentive. The food was excellent. Had bruschetta and hummus with vegetables for appetizer- very tasty. My daughter had the salmon dish and she said it was one of the best salmon she ever had. What a beautiful fresh air patio by the bar. The food was absolutely delicious. We hosted a family luncheon to honor my mother who passed two months ago. We waited in hopes of better spring weather. What a glorious day we got. About 28 members spaced out across the patio. We had four menu options: spare ribs, salmon, chicken parm, a large creamy pasta. All the portions were immense and tasty. Caesar salad starters. Two cake options including a rich chocolate. Everyone loved the food and the golf course views. Servers were excellent and masked. Good conversation to remember my mother. Except for my wife, who was just here for the first time a few weeks ago for a baby shower, we had never been here before and have lived in the area for 20 years. My wife had such a nice experience at the baby shower several weeks ago we decided to meet family here in honor of the graduation of my two sons, one from college and one from high school. Everybody had something different, there were 10 of us, and the reviews were all very good. It was nice to sit outside on a warm day and enjoy a quiet meal with family. First things first: Tavola's ambiance is breathtaking. If you want great outside dining THIS is the spot for you. As expected, reservations for Tavola are hard to come by but the weekdays can be a lil easy. Decided to catch them on a Sunday and our table was given to someone else when we arrived. No biggie. The manager comes over and tells the host without any regard to us "...well just sit them in the back." And to the back they definitely sat us. Not my ideal form of customer service for a reservation and not too appreciative of the dismissive tone as if we were an inconvenience...but okay? The food was average. Your usual American food which is cool but for the price I expected to be more wow'd by the menu and the food. Brick oven pizza tasted more like little caesar's but it wasn't close to 5 dollars. We celebrated my Dad's 80th birthday at Tavola. The service from Todd was excellent. No complaints. He made sure all was well with the entire time we were there. I made reservations almost a week in advance for Sunday brunch, and was really looking forward to this after just recently being here for Thanksgiving. Upon arriving we advised the manager we had a reservation, who was very helpful, the staff were excellent. The only problem I had was that we were seated outside, it might as well have been Siberia even with the heaters running. Both my wife and I were shivering the whole time we were there. I asked the waiter if something could be done about it. He stated that he turned the heater all the way up as the others were not on. What I don't understand is why they sat us there when the restaurant inside had at most 4-6 people at the time we were there. Everything was excellent food, drink. I'm just not sure I'd come back after spending $100 for a buffet to freeze my butt off. read more

My family had the misfortune to have to go to a funeral in July during covid. While the funeral had to be limited to only a small portion of my very large italian family, we are still Italian and determined to go out as a group to eat after. Luckily, PA had reopened to outdoor dining and the weather was nice. Tavola had sectioned off a portion of their ourdoor dining for our group, and set up several tables so that we sat only with our immediate family. The accommodations for us were very nice and despite it being my first time at a restaurant since the before times, I did feel safe. Being the large group that we were, we had a menu of courses from which to chose. I ended up getting the Tuscan short rib. The portion was plenty filling that I couldn't finish it. My brother ended up finishing it for me though - covid be darned it won't stop him from eating off my plate. The real star was the Chicken Italiano. It was so delicious I even had to contact them to ask for the recipe. This one is definitely a must get. And by the way - I've said in so many reviews I'm not a dessert person. Tavola was a very basic restaurant and expensive for what you get. Service was mediocre at best. Soup was served after the entree. Server seemed to want to be anywhere else. Short rib sandwich lacked flavor. Salt shakers had hardened salt that didn't shake out of the container (3rd shaker was the charm). To be positive the location is very nice and the view from our wobbly table was beautiful. I understand their brunch is worth going for, but I'll pass on that. read more

Service was as good as it could be because they were definitely short staffed and the server was inexperienced. Again the food was just"ok" with some people in my party receiving cold food. We went for dinner tonight for the first time in probably a year. Our past experiences were pretty good, not so much today. We waited for a while before a server even showed up, I was starting to think we were invisible. When we did order, it came fairly quickly but the order was wrong, we both ordered sweet potato fries with our chicken sandwiches and got regular fries. When we did get the correct order, the sweet potato fries were cold and old, shriveled up and dried out. The sandwiches were ok, nothing special, but for $19 it's reasonable to expect a really good chicken sandwich. Lastly, the sugar packets my wife tried to use for her iced tea were like rocks and the salt in the shaker was also solid and unusable. It was a very mediocre experience. The food was good, served at appropriate temperature. My one and only complaint was the "carved" roast beef belonged on the bottom of my shoe. IT SUCKED. Going out of my way to make my first Yelp review today. Made reservations and pre-paid for Easter brunch at Tavola. My family came down with Covid and was unable to attend. When we called to try to see if we could apply the pre-payment to another visit we were told, "this is like an Eagles game, if you don't make it, there are no refunds". This shameful policy is very short-sighted. Every other establishment would allow you to reschedule the reservation or provide a gift-card. Punishing customers because they get sick during a pandemic?!?!? My wife even called the day before Easter to explain we contracted Covid and were not able to make the reservation because we did not want to spread it throughout the restaurant. We ate at (brunch) Tavola on Sunday, September 22, 2024. The hostess was very pleasant and she seated us. It took our server (Sherri) 15 minutes to come to our table (restaurant was not crowded) NEVER introduced herself I asked her, her name. So, again a few more minutes we asked another server can we just go to the buffet he said yes. Mind you, did not see Sherri, sorry she was at the host stand talking. She did come over to our table a few minutes later and took our drink orders. ALL of the food was cold only think wasn't cold was the made to order omelets, which was good. The service was good overall - the server was pleasant and attentive; my girls and I all ordered the Whiskey Burger but subbed the burger with a Beyond Meat patty. I had a really bad experience this past suday , as soon as we got there. I should of gotten name of the host but she was extremely rude . She was younger, long blonde hair . The restaurant wasnt even full but she told us we werent allowed to go to the bar or sit at any high top. There was plenty seat at the bar, so i was very confused. I never been deny service before. We ask to speak to a manager & we waited 15 min and she never came back so just went and sat at the bar the bartender served us right away.
