Cheesesteak on a seeded roll Cooper sharp cheese

The best cheesesteak! Rolls are amazing (with or without seeds) and meat is seasoned perfectly and is so tender! My favorite cheese is Cooper sharp. I also add fried onions. So delicious. Do not sleep on Prime

The cheesesteaks here are so good! They never disappoint. I always order to go and they come well wrapped and still warm. My son got the cheeseburger and fries, he loved it! Prime steaks is definitely one of our favorite places to go for cheesesteaks and burgers.

I had a great lunch experience at Prime Steaks. The woman who greeted me (I think it's Sue) was very sweet and took good care of me. I love that they have seeded rolls as their default roll. I didn't catch where the rolls are from sorry. The menu is simple - varieties of Steaks, Chicken Steaks (NOTE on menu Real Chicken Breast), Hoagies, Hot Sandwiches (Roast Pork, Chicken Cutlet, Chicken Parm, Veggie, Italian Sausage), Chicken Sandwiches and Burgers along with Sides. Prices fell in the $8-$14 range for most of their eats. I went with a cheesesteak for my first go-around. $13.50 Cheesesteak - Cooper Sharp, Seeded Roll and Cherry Hots .50 cent charge. (NOTE you can get Cooper Sharp, American, Wiz, Provo, Sharp Provo or Pepper Jack for cheese and Banana, Hot Cherry or Longhots for peppers) The serving size was good. You get a good amount of meat, the roll was fresh and not soggy. They did a great job of keeping the meat moist, but not drippy. The meat tasted a bit seasoned which was good, but unfortunately contained a couple pieces of gristle. Cheese was mixed in pretty well, but mostly near the bottom (something to fix to move them up in the rankings). Peppers provided a nice spicy pop. I give it an above average grade and just under the top tier in Delco. I'll definitely return to check out more of the menu. A chicken steak review is needed since they declare real chicken breast on their menu. Roast Pork will also have to be tried after reading the newspaper article on their wall. The inside of the place was clean. I'm giving them a fourth star because Sue was super nice and welcoming. Certainly someone worth rooting for. Thanks guys!

Best cheesesteaks and sandwiches in the Philly area. I never order cheesesteaks when I eat out simply because most places are so underwhelming. Prime Steaks made me fall in love with the gooey goodness that is the "Prime Steak." The team that runs this place are so nice and put the effort in to deliver a good product every time. Rolls and bread are from Corropolese and always fresh.

We are visiting from California, we saw this place had really good reviews and is fairly close to the airport so we decided to try it. It was DELICIOUS!! We absolutely loved it, the staff was very nice and the inside was decorated so cute for Christmas and very clean as well. The portions are very good as well for the prices, you really get your moneys worth! I was so full. We are already talking about stopping by again before we head back home (:

Best fries around ! Yes please

I'm gonna need a Prime Steaks by my house in Jersey. This steak is delicious. Nice soft roll, cheesy and these fries are the best in the game right now ! Well done seriously really good spot. Will definitely be on my list when I'm in this area for sure ! Friendly service , clean. Yes please !

Excellent excellent Philly cheesesteaks! And SUCH NICE SERVICE! I got the prime on seeded bread with banana peppers cooked with the meat AND on top. I really recommend getting the banana peppers or pickled jalapeños with it cause it cuts through the grease/heaviness of the sandwich. The serving is HUGE. Enough for two meals (tasted so good the next day too - kept its structural integrity, no sogginess whatsoever while not being dry at all!) The bread was delish and crusty in the best way (I ate it too fast cause it was good and I was hungry and ended up tearing up the roof of my mouth - as one does on all manners of well toasted bread) Not much seating indoors but ample outdoors, which was especially nice because the weather was temperate and the sun was setting so beautifully. Recommend and would come again when in Philly

Definitely worth checking out for Cheesesteaks in Delaware County! I also love that you can order online with a credit card. The steak was flavorful and the service was fast and friendly. I will certainly check them out for other items as well.

The service is friendly and super prompt. I'm not from Philly and have definitely never had a Philly cheese steak in Philly. I chose this place based on other reviews and proximity and it did not disappoint!! Delicious sandwich and there's no way I can eat it all. The inside is quaint and basic, like a subway. I'll be having cheesesteak for lunch AND dinner, for sure.

Came in with a hockey team and they fed us good. Took care of us really well and the vibe of this place is awesome!

Different Cheesesteak #1172. The meat is the most important part of a cheesesteak and Prime Steaks uses very good meat. - Sidebar - if you want to argue it's the grill person and/or the role of the roll, we can do that on my 'Cheesesteak Stories Podcast.' - $14 so it's not the biggest cheesesteak. You can buy extra meat. Very good roll. I get mushrooms on my cheesesteak because good mushrooms complement good meat. The mushrooms needed more grill time (so did most of the onions). Most of the cheese was on the bottom. It sounds nit picky but this is very close to being a top tier cheesesteak.

Pizza steak and cheese fries were fire!!!

Since there were no available tables outside, we were placed inside in a corner table with no air circulation. The humidity felt unbearable and really played a major impact on my experience. I'm sure if I came during a mid spring day I would've had a better experience. Food: the food is the only reason I would come here again. I got a crab cake that was very robust with a fair amount of filler but had a good amount of real crabmeat. My son got the quesadilla, and it wasn't anything special. The salmon was small and flavorful. Service: also was not anything special or bad. Our waitress came by twice during our stay. It was a busy afternoon and she was working. It would've been good if they had more staff so that someone could refill our water more frequently. Like I said, the humidity had taken away from our experience. Overall, I wouldn't come here throughout the hot, humid summer months, but I may give it a second try in the winter or spring... maybe.

I suppose a restaurant almost has a disadvantage when one has heard endlessly about how fantastic…read moreit is, thus setting one's expectations quite high when making one's reservation. A friend and I came by for a quiet supper to catch up and hopefully have an enjoyable dining experience. To start off, the Caesar salad and focaccia were indeed quite tasty. After being talked into trying the tasting menu, I was disheartened upon taking my first bite of the chicken Parmigiana and accompanying pasta. Both seemed as if they had been sitting for a while and then were unevenly reheated. The pasta, in particular, was lackluster and worse than anything I might have hurriedly boiled at eleven at night upon arriving home after a long trip and finding only packaged pasta and canned tomato sauce in the cupboard. But I could have lived with all of this had it not been for the service. Clearly my friend and I were the afterthought of all afterthoughts to our disinterested waitress. After hounding us to order before we had properly reviewed the menu, she promptly put us on the pay-no-mind list, as dirty dish after dirty dish accumulated at the table from the tasting menu she had so strongly urged me to try. I also abhor cheapness on the part of restaurants. Would it have killed Rosemary to offer us a second piece of focaccia, given that there were two of us and the portion was a better fit for just one? Lest anyone accuse me of having expected the waitstaff to read my mind, I indeed asked. It's not like we weren't spending a pretty penny there. The business could have well afforded to allow each of us a reasonable portion of its much-touted starter. After we finally managed to flag down our waitress amid the plethora of dirty dishes still sporting some of the mediocre food, I paid in cash on account of the restaurant informing me on the bill that a surcharge would be applied to a credit card transaction. Another joy! When the waitress took the note, she said, "Thank you," and that was that. I decided against calling after her to request change since it was one of those borderline instances where the note was close enough to twenty percent that it is a bit awkward to request someone return with change. So she walked off with a 26% or so tip after having left us on the dining equivalent of "read" the entire night. And then there's the issue of price: While not outrageous, everything is 15-20% more expensive than it should be, and after one pauses to think about it, the tasting menu offers barely any deal at all. If one orders the chicken like I did, it is no cheaper than ordering the starter, entrée, and dessert à la carte. If Rosemary had also offered, say, a soup, then it would be a deal. But clearly generosity is not in its owner's purview. The tiramisu, I will say, was excellent, and my friend and I enjoyed every morsel, and for that reason, along with the Caesar salad, I can muster three stars. Had I not walked through the door having heard so many people rave about Rosemary, perhaps I would have found it to be a restaurant with a pleasant ambiance, a good appetizer, and fine dessert despite a thoroughly middling entrée. But a Delco gem it is not.

Fortunately, I was served a different dish after I demonstrated I couldn't cut into the short rib with the knife I was given. As for the rest of the experience, the service was nice if a little difficult to grab, it's quite noisy inside, and the drinks were meh. There are too many other good restaurants to come back here.

The restaurant has a charming and casual vibe. Both gentlemen tending the floor are from Italy, adding an air of authenticity. You can choose to sit outdoors -- I really like the way the patio is arranged --or in the cozy dining room. Once seated, you're brought a plate of roasted peppers and a basket of hard rolls. I sprinkled olive oil and grated salt on the plate, which proved a good idea with the peppers and rolls. There were a number of appetizer specials, but we went with a basic Caesar salad. One order, pre-apportioned in the kitchen, was perfect for the two of us. I ordered branzino as an entree T, linguini Pescatore. The whole fish is brought out and fileted tableside. While I took a photo, it was just one unflattering shot of the head (which I'm not posting.) The branzino was mild and flakey, good, though the seasoning didn't break through the skin rendering it a little bland. Excellent grilled potatoes and vegetables completed my dinner. My husband's linguini was delish; while the pasta isn't made in house, it tasted like it could be, served al dente, of course. The tomato sauce was spicy enough to bring the dish over the top. Portobello is byob. (Another Yelper mentioned an $8 corkage fee, but unless they forgot to charge us, they disbanded the policy.) After our meal, with takeout box packed -- there was a lot of fish -- we were offered amaretto as a digestif. A nice touch! The restaurant isn't all that convenient to where we live but we enjoyed dinner enough to warrant a repeat visit. Next time I'll try something Italian. Or maybe salmon, which looked pretty good. Reservations suggested, particularly on weekends.
