Man, I'm pretty bummed about my experience at Outback Steakhouse. Our first time back after 3 years because our experience was bad then too.. Not only was the food trash, the dynamics going on with the workers was extremely awkward and unprofessional. A woman would interrupt other waitress talking to us and just full on took over our table ? I didn't understand . Being rude and unprofessional to her coworkers in front of customers is extremely off putting. Anywho, that's subjective . Let me just show how terrible my outback burger was. I ate half of it and realized the whole half of the burger was soaked in mustard . Our fries were absolutely roasted , it was like biting into an empty cardboard box . I should've said something about my burger , but I already ate half of it . I felt like that would've been weird ? Honestly, just save your money and go get yourself a good burger from in-n-out. I've been to this location about 4-5 times and every time I've gone it was great! Last time I was there the server McKenzie provided excellent service and even made our tasty bar drinks. The steaks came out perfect the temperature we ordered it as and I highly recommend adding the peppercorn sauce to add to your steak! We came here last night around 5:30 pm to celebrate my niece's birthday. I haven't been in outback in about ten years and my last experience wasn't too great, but boy was I surprised! We had a large party and I was impressed how nice and friendly the staff were. Our waitress made sure we were taken care of. Outback located in Palmdale by the mall today proved to me that they are not a place to conduct business meetings. The staff in the bar are not only rude, they mock their customers for the lack of education in cocktails, instead of providing education to the customer. My Friend and I decided to make the 2 1/2 Hour Round Trip for an early dinner at the Outback Steakhouse in Lancaster, Ca. We arrived at the restaurant at 3:42 pm Friday 11/03/23. Not very busy, We were seated immediately in a nice booth by the window as requested. Drink order was taken - 2 Coffees with real milk and a mixed drink (Seagrams 7 and 7 Up ) from the bar was ordered. The bartender came to the table with a bottle of Mexican (??) Whiskey to ask if that would be acceptable in place of the Seagrams 7 ordered. Seagrams 7 is an American Whiskey, that has been an easily available standard for many years. I indicated that a Cheap Mexican Whiskey would NOT be an acceptable replacement. NO BAR DRINK was ordered at that point. NO SALE ON MEXICAN WHISKEY FROM OUTBACK TODAY! Still NO COFFEE! Had to request the Coffee order 3 times before finally getting it. So far the service has been slow or nonexistent and they are still not busy! Finally, we were able to place our dinner order. My friend ordered a Dinner Salad, Chicken Strips and a Baked Potato. I ordered a Wedge Salad with extra Blue Cheese, a Small Filet with Sautéed Mushrooms and Broccoli. My friend's Dinner Salad was Ok. His Chicken Strips were Under Cooked and the Baked Potato was delivered Cold!!! My Wedge Salad was wonderful!!! My $29.99 Filet was a Very Thin Cut of Meat for even a small Filet and was served with NO MUSHROOMS!!! Luckily, The Broccoli was very tasty! After getting the waitress attention, I was able to tell her about the MISSING SAUTÉED MUSHROOMS. The MISSING SAUTÉED MUSHROOMS were finally delivered and they also were COLD!!! Once again after finally getting the waitress' attention we explained ALL of the Problems as listed above with Both Meals and were told that we were talking to the Assistant Manager (who was also are waitress?!?!) an she would take these poorly prepared meals OFF of the Bill!!! I explained that I would have rather had the service of properly prepared meals served hot to the table!!! Is not that the reason one goes to a restaurant like this? At that point, we were offered Free Desserts. Not wanting to go through another food fiasco, we declined and asked for the bill so that we might leave the restaurant hopefully without any further incident. So, NO SEAGRAMS 7 Mixed Drink, UNDER COOKED CHICKEN STRIPS, COLD BAKED POTATO, VERY THIN $29.99 FILET without SAUTÉED MUSHROOMS, and SAUTÉED MUSHROOMS delivered much TOO LATE AND COLD?!?!? THANKS OUTBACK FOR A COSTLY 2 1/2 HOUR TRIP AND NO DINNER?!?!? HOW CAN ANY OF THIS BAD FOOD AND BAD SERVICE BE ACCEPTABLE??? VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS OUTBACK RESTAURANT OR THEIR LACK OF MANAGEMENT ATTENTION TO THIS POOR QUALITY FOOD AND SERVICE!!! Sorry my friend and I made the trip! Two time I have tried to eat here with no success. First they don't allow you to use the app for the wait list. Second, when you go in and half the place is empty, they have people waiting for a long time and tell you 20 minutes something is wrong here. I don't blame the workers, it's management. Is t the goal here to make money by acing full tables? Our first time ever to Outback: My husband and I were looking forward to enjoying a great meal here. We were pleasantly impressed with our delicious food and the time it took to receive it. The manager came to the table and welcomed us since it was our first time. She was so nice and friendly to talk with which is appreciated. That she would welcome us and take her time to make sure we had everything. The restaurant was large and looked new with all the beautiful decor ; apparently someone is taking pride in their appearance of the restaurant. I will be looking forward to coming back with friends. Hey mate over here there fake. Was treated horribly for no reason. Had a gift card that I used for my order online. First things first they charged me a $6 tip for what ? No server involved. They really must be importing this food from Australia because the prices are pretty steep. Had a few dollars left on my gift card and of course they jacked me. Had to call for them to bring out my food because I did a curb service order. When they came out they gave me the wrong order and said I owed them money. I told him I use a gift card. Then the manager came out and started yelling at me and being very aggressive and said I owed money. I told him my name and then he said looks like we got the wrong person and order omg I really hate coming out to this area and then dealing with restaurants that charge way too much with horrible service .
