Worst restaurant experience of my life --- and I'm 85 years old !!! We sat ourselves at 4:30p (no hostess). It was Saturday night and the restaurant was already about 50% full. We saw one waiter and a bartender. We were told "The wait staff doesn't come in until 5pm" (even on the weekends?). They finally took our order at 5:10p. I ordered the cheeseburger sandwich - medium rare. My wife's fish and chips arrived at 5:30p and my sandwich arrived 10 minutes later --- BURNED TO A CRISP (even the bread was burned). After another 10 minutes of waiting, I told a lady at the cash register (maybe finally a manager?!?#) to CANCEL my order --- WE WERE LEAVING!!! After ANOTHER 10 minute wait for a correct bill, we left the restaurant around 6:30p. TWO HOURS = NO FOOD. And no one cared - not even one star!! My advice: Skip Applebees and to a drive-through burger joint. read more

Great deal with the 25$ thing. The burger has an excellent generous patty that has this flat top gristle with fresh vegetables and fries too. I am pleasantly surprised at the deal! I have never been so disappointed at a restaurant like I am tonight. We decided to eat here because all the nearby restaurants were a a 45 minute wait. BIG mistake. We ordered drinks and it took a minute to arrive, but ok. The place was 75% full. We got water and 5 minutes our drinks arrived. Another 15 minutes and no one took our food order. Finally we hailed down the manager and she apologized and took our order. My husband's order came, but not mine. He ate most of his food while I was still waiting for my order. My husband finished his meal and I'm still waiting. He called for the manager and she was surprised that my food hadn't arrived not even the salad. We told her to just cancel my order and give us the check. She politely offered to not change us for the 2 drinks and my husband's meal. We were there to celebrate an event and get a decent meal. However we had a horrible experience. I didn't want a free meal, I want a decent meal. As a business owner customer service is key. But not for Applebees. Never again. read more

Service was welcoming as soon as we walked through the doors. The vibrant, colorful interior was appealing, large bar seating area along with booths. My sister loves mozzarella sticks and I love anything cheese. It hit the spot for our cravings. Our server was attentive and efficient. Always fulfilling our table needs without having to ask. Super friendly with that hometown charm, excellent staff! We visited later in the evening. Take advantage of their select apps half off 3-6pm and 9pm-close. We enjoyed the large booth to wait out the evening till our next appointment. It's a great spot to chill out and enjoy some classic American favorites. What a fantastic Vide for a Sunday Afternoon. The service is always great here. We had some drinks!!! From entering the restaurant, we were immediately seated. Then we were greeted by a lovely waitress who was helpful in pointing out the most popular meals to share. Then we asked what libations were good. My friend had a pineapple cranberry concoction she was happy with and I tried the blue raspberry lemon drop. Don't look behind the bar counter. What I saw was dirty and not kept ship-shape. The food was mediocre, including the hamburger. I will avoid Applebee's (and all the other casual, middle-market chains). I've eaten at Red Robin, too, whose hamburgers and fish and chips are mediocre. My experience today reinforced why I stopped visiting this specific Applebee's. Unfortunately, I had to grab food for a family member, so I called in a to-go order. A really nice male server took my order over the phone and read it back to me. However, I mistakenly mixed up two similar menu items, and I acknowledge that this was my fault. I called back a few minutes later upon realizing my mistake and spoke to a female waitress. She told me she could make the switch for me and quickly put me on hold. However, I ended up waiting on hold for 19 minutes. I waited so long that the original server ended up on qthe phone again, but by that time, it was too late to make any changes. read more

Then shortly after came our meals and was delighted to see it, immediately I was greeted by that sizzling sound of the cast iron skillet releasing those aromas. Chicken was soft and tender and bursting with flavor and that shrimp was just the cherry on top. Appearances can be deceiving, at first seems like small portions but let me tell you, it leaves you satisfied. I was planning to get dessert but too full for it, so plan on coming back to just fry their mini donut balls served with chocolate and caramel dips. Outside of the awesome free meal that this Applebee's gave Veterans for Veterans Day, I'm not sure there's much that can be said positively about this location. The service here was definitely subpar. The hostess was really friendly, but, the waitress was not attentive at all. She arrived late in getting our drink order, then when she came back with the incorrect drinks we were ready to order appetizers. She started to walk away without asking, and we had to get her attention to let her know that we wanted to order them. The same happened when wanting to order our meals. Our waitress set our appetizer down and immediately left the table before I could get her attention. She walked by three times without acknowledging us. By the fourth time she walked by I finally was able to flag her down and get our order in. Needless to say, the rest of the meal was about the same. Anytime we wanted something we would have to flag her down. Our food was also subpar. The steak was cooked well, but, definitely lacked in seizing as well as the potatoes and green beans. The French onion soup was great, but, I honestly have never had a French onion soup I didn't like. The Caesar salad was okay, not great. My friend and I met up for a little bite to eat before Xmas. Usually when we go here they have a host to greet us and take our names, but not this passed Thursday, we didn't get greeted for almost 20m, we started to leave because we were upset, but my friend wanted some dish so we stayed. Once we were seated Michael was great, he made sure we was taken care of, his service made us cheer up. We had tried the Grilled Chicken Wonton tacos, the Bourbon street Chicken&Shrimp w/fries and a Classic Margarita.
