We either missed the lunch rush, or it was just slow for a Tuesday afternoon. We were seated right away. I hadn't been to outback in years. They have simplified their menu since then to steak and a few other items like burgers and chicken tenders. The food was good. My daughter got fruit as a side and it was bright and fresh. My steak was cooked just right. The service wasn't the greatest though. She did come by to check on us, but every time she came to our table, she just seemed bothered and like she didn't want to help so if we did need anything, like a smaller spoon for my toddler, i didn't even bother asking. If I were to come back, given it's the closest outback to my moms, I would request a different server because it really makes a difference. long story short, food is good but service is hit or miss. Good luck!

Empty seat at the bar. Coulda been you but you're here on yelp reading reviews. Lol. Jk

Hmmmm what can I say? Ive had both good and bad experiences here. I guess it depends on who your waitress is. Luckily this last time was when I drove in from california. It was a long trip so I was tired and hungry. The bar was nice and clean and the bartender was nice and very attentive. I ended up getting their tuesday special! Which was steak and lobster plus 2 sides for 24.99! You cant beat that, so Thats what I went with. Both the steak and lobester were full of flavor. The lobster was not rubbery and the steak was tender. I got a potato and side salad as my sides and was completely satisfied with my meal and service that day. The only reason I gave this place 3 is because on a different occasion when I sat down in the dining area I had a waitress go on break or smoke break for about 15minutes. Service was so bad that I had to get up and ask for service from another waiter on the other side of the restaurant. They were looking for my waitress but they said they didnt know where she was. Eventually the waitress i reached out to helped me out.

Normally never have an issue here but todays ribs had no meat on them and the broccoli was really crunchy.

Normally everything is great here but today's ribs were not it. They had no meat on them and my broccoli was nearly raw.

Possibly one of the best steak house experiences I've had in a long time. Aasher was great. Kitchen was stupid fast... we were a group of 12. My group of 4 put in our order first and our salads came out before the other 8 finished ordering. Steaks were PERFECT. Wife's burger was perfect. And I've never had anyone stay on top of refills like this. I'm pretty sure our server was secretly Genie from Aladdin. POOF!

I ordered lobster tail it was ok I would recommend to American food lovers

The owner of the restaurant took our order and offered good suggestions. He raved about their Tiramisu and we wanted to try if for dessert. The starters we tried were well seasoned and flavorful. The pasta bowls come with breadsticks and is perfect for one. The bowls are not shareable but the flavors were excellent. Do try the tiramisu for dessert. It is highly recommended. Plenty of parking available in the strip mall. The restaurant offers beer, wines and cocktails with a full bar service. Pricing: Not an inexpensive restaurant but it's worth the money you pay. I've never had anything that wasn't perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served the correct temperature. And that's what really matters in a restaurant, of course. But the vibe is odd. I can't put my finger on it. It's "clique-y". Every time I come, I walk into an empty restaurant with no host. And it seems I've walked in before they opened. They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties. I don't ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don't get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It's bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. They don't tell you this: but it's for the regulars. You'll feel like you've wandered into a party you weren't invited to. AND.....order the Prince Edward Island mussels!

There were tons of people outside and I never heard of a restaurant closing the patio so early on a Friday. We were seated and it took well over 15 mins before the hostess came back and offered to get us waters while we waited for our server. The server came and she asked for our drink and appetizer orders, she then asked for our dinner orders as well because "the kitchen was really backed up" since we had sat there long enough to have read the menu u several times, we were able to order, assuming the food would be staggered. Wrong. The appetizer came out, we got the crab and Parmesan dip, it was ok, a little runny for my liking but the flavor was good. After one bite of the app, our entrees came out. The server looked at our table and said "wow the kitchen is really on top of it" so which is it? Backed up? Or on top of it? My wife ordered the crispy fish sandwich and I had the salmon and blue crab. I got the broccolini and she got the mac and cheese. We both got broccolini, we flagged down our server and let her know she got the wrong side and we still didn't have our drinks. She eventually came back with the drinks and another server showed up with the Mac and cheese as we were almost done with the meal. The Mac and cheese was the same sauce as the crab dip! Runny and just "ok" nothing exciting. The entrees were bad, the salmon was grilled well, but everything was kind of bland. Overall the experience was just "meh" for a $100 meal. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it.

They've recently updated their menu with several a la cart items, and I came to try the Prime Rib. Wow. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The one major change I've noticed is Brasão is getting busier. Used to, I could walk in a get a table, but now I make sure I use OpenTable to reserve a seat. If you've never been to a Brazilian style restaurant (in the US), the first thing you'll notice is the opulent salad bar that sits in the center of the restaurant. There is also a dedicated bar area that's separate and elevated, so you people watch from above. 1 Star. Service - Brasão has the best severs (again I'm biased). The entire staff works in unison with dedicated roles. Your sever will take your order why gauchos walk around cutting meat. Speaking of cutting meat, if you order the Prime Rib on Wednesday, they will cut it at your table to order. 1 Star. Food - The Prime Rib is absolutely sensational. The Prime Rib is so tender, and the au jus adds a little salt. The Prime Rib is sliced and dressed at your table, so you can see the heat and seasonings up close. My bite was so tender and flavorful, it did not need extra au jus. While the Prime Rib is ala cart, it still comes with the standard sides of mashed potatoes, fried polenta, and fried bananas. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. My first visit to Brasão was because the meats were so good. I keep coming back because the service is amazing and the menu continues to evolve. See you next month! 1 Star.

What an experience. I dined at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse for my first dinner after landing in Dallas…read moreand it set an impossibly high bar for the rest of my meals during my Dallas trip. The food and service here is absolutely incredible. That said, given how pricey the meal is, you'll certainly want to reserve this meal for celebrations and special occasions. Between the four in our party, we shared the following: jumbo lump crab cakes ($36.95), prime tomahawk ($194.95), prime New York strip 14oz ($64.95), jumbo asparagus ($17.95), roasted wild mushrooms ($21.95), creamed spinach ($17.95), and a New York-style cheesecake ($18.00) for dessert to share. If you're a wine enthusiast, there's a Bible sized wine menu available here to thumb through. Our server made it a point to emphasize the scale and expansiveness of their wine list. The list goes on and on -- covering every imaginable region of the world and year, and as a casual wine drinker, I was simply overwhelmed. However, if you're looking for cocktails instead, any "standard" cocktail you can think of is available. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was stiff, yet nicely balanced. Moving on to the food, I have never had crab cakes as good as the ones here -- this appetizer is a must order. Most crab cakes I've had have too much bread crumb fillers and tend to be a bit bland. The ones here contain generous amounts of large, chunky crab meat, are well-seasoned, and are perfectly fried. The tomahawk steak is a serious show-stopper. If there's one cut to order, it's this one. Carved table-side, you really get to appreciate the size and beauty of this cut of meat. The meat is expertly cut off from the bone, and I love the distribution of rendered fat on each piece of meat. Some steakhouses offer a bunch of different sauces and dips to go with the meat, but none of that is available here: you're here for the meat, and you can truly appreciate the flavor and quality of the dry-aged meat in its purest form. All you really need is some salt and you've got the perfect bite. The steak here is delicious; no notes. Although the steak is the clear star of the show at Pappas Bros., the sides cannot be skipped over (not that you'd want to, given how delicious everything sounds). I was tempted to order the large tower of golden onion rings that many other tables seemed to be ordering, but ultimately settled on some of the other vegetable offerings. The creamed spinach is rich and decadent. One order is easily enough for a group to share. The jumbo asparagus is honestly some of the longest and largest spears of asparagus I've ever seen. They had a nice snappy bite to them. Although you'll probably be absolutely stuffed by the end of your meal, I encourage you to order at least a dessert to split. Although I only had a chance to try the New York-style cheesecake, it's something I would happily order again. The gargantuan size of the slice of cheesecake is enough for a group of 8 to split. Like everything else on the menu, the cheesecake is rich. I appreciate that the cake itself was not overly sweet. The whipped cream on top was light and fluffy. If you're looking for a steakhouse in Dallas with quality food, drinks and service, look no further than Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. Closing note: there is no dress code that's enforced.

We started with the Smoking Barrel, mixed with rye, Peychaud's, Angostura, peach bitters, orange peel, and smoked mesquite. The fresh popovers served alongside the first course were airy, warm, and a standout touch on their own. The fried calamari was crisp and tender, served with remoulade, marinara, and grilled lemon. The braised tenderloin hummus was equally well-executed, topped with chili oil, onion ash, and green onions with warm pita. For the mains, both cuts of meat arrived cooked to temperature and seasoned with precision. The 6oz filet mignon came paired with cacio e pepe ravioli, while the 12oz ribeye was served alongside asparagus and marbled potatoes. The wine pairing selections matched the steak courses well without overpowering the plates. Dessert closed out strong. The banana pudding featured a rich banane du Brésil custard, vanilla wafers, and toasted coconut, while the chocolate tart balanced dark chocolate over a hazelnut crust with peanut butter mousse. The two that got the salmon said it was ok, a bit overcooked and they also didn't care for the mix underneath. The filet was stupendous and the cowboy was really delicious. I will say we atleast liked the atmosphere and ambiance better at 1845 than we did at Rustico. But it was more of the same- incredibly overpriced BLAND food. Not at all worth the price you're paying, severely lacking in flavor, and takes waaaaay Too long to be delivered to your table after ordering. We started with the Texas Trio and we did enjoy that. It is kind of hard to mess up queso, salsa and pimento cheese- however we did say that was one thing we would eat again and was worth its value. My husband and other son bothe ordered cheeseburgers at $22 a pop and both said the burger they get at local pint was a million times better and a lil cheaper. I got the smothered chicken and It was very disappointing! The chicken was so bland it was like a notch above school cafeteria food (seriously) I swapped the rice for mashed potatoes and they were good (not great but good) and the Brussels sprouts which were really tasty but VERY small Portion for price. I've eaten at incredibly high end steak places that charge the same For a side of sprouts and give you more than double what I got tonight at 1845. The birthday boy got a strip steak and potatoes and he gave each of us a bite. $49 for this steak- a good size- but NO FLAVOR at all. Last but certainly not least- our server was nice enough and attentive HOWEVER he had on the Meta glasses that record people and that made our entire table very uncomfortable. My son said he had seen tik tok accounts where waiters record their patrons and post it! (Not saying he was but it definitely changed the atmosphere of our dinner) He also seemed notably disappointed and different after we didn't order the $49 appetizer and no alcohol. Visible mood shift but he did remain professional. All in all, we are baffled by the good reviews. And very very surprised at the quality of product and price point considering Marty Bs coffee has AMAZING food quality and pricing and so does the restaurant, just doesn't seem to be translating to the other establishments. :-(
