We came here for dinner with our two kids and were seated right away in a booth. I ordered one of their new cocktails called Piña Koala and it was absolutely fantastic! It's basically a Piña Colada Martini and it was so so good. For my meal I had the 6oz Sirloin with Grilled Shrimp, fries and side salad with Tangy Tomato. Everything tasted delicious. The steak and shrimp were flavorful and the fries were nicely seasoned. Our waiter Josh was amazing. Not only did he have a friendly and laid back personality but he was very helpful. My 5 year old wanted the shot glass that was on my husband's drink and was about to get upset, and he was sweet and brought her an alligator, making her instantly happy. We were in the mood for a good steak after a long week at home. It had been a busy one. We were both tired and didn't want to cook. Outback was close by so we head to our local Outback. We hadn't been in a while and were surprised when we walked in. The restaurant had had a complete facelift, new murals and decor. The restaurant was so inviting and beautifully done. After being shown to our table, Jayden, our friendly Outback server greeted us and took our drink orders. We contemplated ordering cocktails but decided on iced tea instead. My wife never varies her order when at Outback. She loves the Victoria's Filet, cooked medium rare, accompanied with a baked potato and a salad with vinegar and oil. I decided on a new menu item, the Chimichurri Filet, cooked rare, accompanied with a loaded baked potato and the Bleu Cheese chopped salad, my fav. On the platter there was a "tasting" of Outback's famous onion petals. When Jayden returned, he was the bearer of gifts, our salads and a piping hot loaf of Outback's delicious brown bread. It is SO delicious. Our salads were served in cold bowls to keep them crisp to the bite. Yummy, bread and salad, it doesn't get much better than that. Perfect timing, just as we were finishing our salads, one of the kitchen expeditors delivered our entree platters to our table. The platters were beautiful and all looked to be prepared to perfection. Jayden stopped by inquiring if our steaks were cooked as requested. We told them they both were. My family of three visited Outback Steakhouse on a Friday evening around 9:00 PM after a school event. The staff was friendly, and our server was excellent. When we brought an issue to their attention, the manager was also very professional and responsive. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. My husband and I ordered the 20 oz bone-in ribeye to share. The steak looked great when it arrived, but once we cut into it, nearly half of it was gristle and fat, making much of it inedible. After we let our server know, the manager quickly replaced it with a 13 oz ribeye and removed the 20 oz steak from our bill, which we appreciated. However, the replacement steak was also disappointing. It had an unusual smell and an off taste that made it difficult for me to eat. Because it was late, I chose not to send it back again. I thought perhaps reheating it at home might improve the flavor, but it still smelled and tasted unpleasant. We used to enjoy dining at Outback Steakhouse, but this visit was disappointing enough that we do not plan to return anytime soon. read more

I had a gift card to use and this was one of the restaurant options and I'm so glad we chose to come. From the moment we walked in it was very well staffed and we were sat promptly and brought menus. Our server introduced himself and got us bread which was yummy. I had a coke and my hubby got the boomerang margarita flight, so cool and he said they all tasted great. There were other people walking by filling up our water and taking plates. Great service. The ambiance is a typical chain restaurant but it felt clean and everyone was very polite. Now the food, my husband got a cup of chili to start which he loved. We both got a 6oz steak medium, it was cooked perfectly! I got coconut shrimp which was so good and he got the Alice springs chicken which he really enjoyed. We both also got a loaded baked potato which were delicious. Both were well flavored and devoured. For Dinner Aussie Cob Salad with grilled chicken, ranch dressing. Steak and Lobster, with loaded baked potato. Steak and coconut shrimp with fries. We just spent $100 and honestly could have had the same quality at Chili's. I dislike Texas Roadhouse and even they are better. Tonight the host sat the two of us with one roll of silverware. The server couldn't even put my order in the computer at the table the correct way, and it was obvious tho it was only ten o'clock the kitchen staff was done for the night. My MR Ribeye with grilled shrimp add on and loaded mash potatoes came out medium and flattened as it had been quick pressed, one shrimp missing and the potatoes were not loaded. The server came back and asked how the steaks were. I told him it was over done, and declined the recook. Knowing if they were ready to be done the first time, they weren't going to get it right a second time after being further pre closed and did not want my steak thrown on the floor or spat on. I ate the food. The asparagus was only partially edible as the stocks were too hard. The non loaded potato's were awful. I wanted to order dessert, but at this point I knew we needed to leave so we paid and left. In the future we will go to Longhorn, Texas Roadhouse or even BJ's when we are craving steak. , or bump it up to a higher end restaurant. The days of Outback being good are no more. Decided to go to Outback Steakhouse for an early Valentine's dinner -- besides, we have never been. There weren't many customers on a Friday during lunch time. We ordered a 15 oz Ribeye (Rare) with Homestyle Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Steamed Mixed Veggies and a Sirloin (Medium) Lunch Combo with Aussie Fries. For starters, I felt like both steaks were overcooked past what it should be. For instance, I NEVER like rare, but I liked the Ribeye that's "rare." I think it was more of a medium rare. The sirloin was supposed to be "medium," but it was more of a well-done. The Ribeye wasn't as red as it should be, and I also liked it that way. It was moist and delicious, maybe a bit salty with the sides. The Sirloin was not what I expected -- I requested for medium, but my steak was completely cooked inside, making it a bit dry. I do wonder what would have happened if I did order well done -- possibly completely tough, maybe? Nothing was too special about any of the sides -- I do know, though, that the Aussie Fries were very salty. After the first few bites, it was pretty great, but paired with a steak that's already salty, just doesn't bode well. Luckily, though, we had the Fresh Steamed Mixed Veggies because it wasn't seasoned at all. The Homestyle Mashed Potatoes was alright, salty, but less than the Aussie Fries. The customer service was OK. I don't know how I feel about it because our server did what she needed, but we didn't interact with each other as much so I'm unsure if it was friendliness or that she just wanted to do what she had to do, which was completely fine. Overall, it was a little less than an OK experience for my first time at Outback Steakhouse. Ordered a center cut sirloin medium rear with a side salad and a loaded baked potato via DoorDash since I was busy working in my hotel room. I never touched the salad but it was a meal in itself. I gave it to one of the hotel workers and they said it was delicious. I enjoyed the baked potato as it was delicious. Now the steak, looked funny (see the pic), and it was cooked more medium and a little on the tough side. The one main kicker is no napkins or utensils. I really wish the food establishments would send utensils or at least have a place on the DoorDash page to check off if utensils are needed. I cave manned the steak and the bake potato. The most disgusting bathroom I have ever seen at a public establishment. Floor to ceiling was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week, and we were here on a quiet night. Food was good, not great. Always leaves me wanting more, but I guess it's fine for the price. Same with the service, just decent. My water was empty often. Outback is Outback... chain steak house with an Australian theme. The food was what I expected. But what really got my attention was the service. We were there on a Wednesday evening at 6:30pm. There was waitstaff standing around and a plethora of empty tables. Our waitress obviously subscribes to the theory of "quantity over quality" as she did nothing but rush us. We ordered an app and our food together, but specifically asked for her to hold the salads until we had time to enjoy the appetizer. Seriously, two bites into the Bloomin' Onion she's asking if we are ready for our salads - uh no! Next time she walks by and asks again - remember, there's hardly any other tables so it was only about 3 minutes later - we tell her to go ahead with the salads. I kid you not, she sets the salads down and has the audacity to tell us our main entrees are ready, should she go ahead and bring them out? Sure. We already feel like we have inconvenienced the waitress, let's just go ahead and get it over with. Now remember, we have the appetizer, appetizer plates, salad plates and now main entree plates all on the table - we had to ask the waitress to clear some plates so we had space to eat. I'm giving this particular Outback 2-stars because the food was as expected and definitely served hot. But I'm knocking three stars off for the waitress who apparently doesn't know how to read the customers. What could have been a 5-star experience at a chain restaurant is just a 2-star experience because of poor service, and this is what is killing todays businesses. read more

First time going here We got the ribeye, it was very thin, but it was seasoned well. The blooming onion was super good, best appetizer here. The surf and turf looks dead. Like the serving was super small for the price. 2nd time going I got the prime rib, cooked well. It taste undercooked, the steak was still pretty bloody and the waitress forgot the horseradish sauce, has to ask for it. Over all this is an okay place for steak, it's a good location. So I had a burger. So it turns out their burger is truly a steak after all. Has the fullness of flavor and aroma of steak. Has that charred good taste I love. Subbed onion petals instead of fries. Those are addictive and need to come with a warning, or the number to a 12 step program. I usually finish an order of fries or sides. I tried, I struggled, I lost although my taste buds won. You can split a side and both be sated unless you came super empty, hungry, and have done the Nathans 4th of July hotdog contest and placed or won it. I haven't so as bad as it hurt to leave some behind, no doggie bag, I left some behind. Back to service. Not once did I feel unattended or forgotten. Nicholas is a Jedi and reads your mind. In fact, I don't recall seeing a single table go without a visit or two within a 3 to 4 minute span. This place gets it. Not super high end on price, but super high end on service for sure. Wanted dessert, but had zero room for it. I was doing my best not to take my belt off and unbutton my pantalona's. It got close to an intimate evening at Outback.
