I ordered the soup and salad, my friends ordered the coconut shrimp, filet, and a steak sammie. The friends with the shrimp and filet said their meal was very good. The sammie tasted fine, but was TINY and definitely not worth the price tag. The fries were mediocre. The soup and salad were inoffensive but not something I'd return for. I went to outback in canton Georgia yesterday and had the worst experience I have ever had with a to go order! The steak was tough and the baked potato was very small and seemed like it was cooked 2 days earlier! The mashed potatoes tasted horrible! I don't see how anybody could make mashed potatoes taste that bad, I could not eat them! An unfortunately typically disappointing representation of the franchise. I keep exploring the menu in the hopes of finding something that is good. Having had many dry and flavorless steaks, I instead had the Bloomin' Shrimp appetizer with their 3 Course special with my choices being the Baked Potato Soup, the Bloomin' Chicken, and cheesecake with chocolate sauce for desert. The complimentary bread was warm and fresh and was very good. The shrimp appetizer showed signs of having thawed before cooking as they were clumped together and the breading was a mess. The kitchen ruined what would have been a good dish, since the shrimp inside had a nice flavored marinade and the portion was generous. The potato soup was also quite good, although a surprising small serving. The chicken entrée had a soggy crust, with the chicken inside having a grainy texture and was inedible. The cheese cake slice has okay. Seating was comfortable and they seated our party at two of the smaller circular tables instead of the available and nearby single large circular table. Obviously at their convenience instead of customer focused. The waitress was friendly and attentive and provided good service. The other food items enjoyed by our party ranged from good to disappointing. We had one Mac-n-cheese with no discernable sauce and another properly prepared and had to request missing sauce for the one side. read more

Thet are obviously struggling from a labor issue as we had a 15-20 minute wait, despite there being loads of empty tables and it didn't seem due to social distancing. Our waiter Robert was very pleasant, and let us know in advance the kitchen was slow, backed up, and training, but we were not in a rush. Ceasar Salad was quite tasty. My wife's bourbon sirloin looked good, was perfectly cooked, but chewy as shoe leather. Such a disappointment. I got the Bloomin Chicken which was good, but too much breading for a chicken breast pounded so thin. The breading overwhelmed the chicken. Also a disappointment. The fries with my meal were were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked making it and my Ceasar salad the best parts of our meals tonight. If Outback could improve the food up to Robert's level of service, our dinner would have been a 4.5 rather than 3 star. read more

This place is alright for a chain restaurant. The first thing I did after ordering was go wash my hands and the restroom had iron stains on the rim of the toilet making it clear they haven't cleaned the restroom in a long while. The restroom also smelled disgusting. My boyfriend got a burger and it was definitely undercooked and cold, the cheese was not even melted. I think our food sat a bit before coming out. Also my salad definitely looked like some of the lettuce look like it was going bad. The food isn't exceptional and the service is alright. The food came fast but it seemed too quick. The service was very good. But I ordered the Maple Bourbon onion 18 ounce steak. It was the best steak I ever had in a restaurant. Super tender cooked as I ordered "medium rare". Even my wife agreed it was better than her very good prime rib. The tender flavorful onion was great. The large flavorful parsley butter added a good kick. The bread was good. The loaded potato was great, but the real star was my steak. I usually only eat 8-12 ounces of steak. This steak - I was gnawing the last bit of meat off the bone. read more

She was attentive, helpful and great to speak with. We ordered a bloomin' onion and it was cooked perfectly. One of the best I've had in recent memories. In addition, I got the prime rib sandwich and it had a "pile" of meat. Here is where I reduced a star, however. The "dip" was simply French onion soup and not the best. Yesterday, Monday 8/14, was my birthday. I've had a craving for Prime Rib and since the great steakhouses around here are closed on Mondays we opted for Outback. I called around 2PM to make sure they were serving Prime Rib that night and was told it would be ready around 4 PM and they "would have plenty" for our dinner around 6:45. Got there and I placed my order for Med Tate rib and was promptly told all "we have is well done as the cook didn't turn the oven to hold but kept cooking it"! Very disappointing. This restaurant only had 1/2 of the restaurant open, which meant only one or two tables available to handle that large of a party. I've trashed this place so many times but the fault has always be mine for going back for more. HOWEVER, I returned today 7-12-24 and found it has become much better than in the past. I tried their pasta with shrimp and scallops and found it good. There was something missing in the cream sauce that would have made it perfect but I can't put my finger on it. I would order the dish again. My wife had the Alice Springs Chicken which was tender, and juciy, with the right amount of spices. Not a five yet but I'll be back in a couple of weeks and try something else that looked interesting. This is an incredible step up from so far down you could find them. Delicious!!! We came here the other day for dinner and it was amazing! I was really craving some prime rib and a salad so outback was our choice. I got the 16oz prime rib outback style with a Caesar salad and my son had the wings. Everything was wonderful! Prime rib was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh and tangy. Wife and I arrived at 8:15 and were seated immediately. When we went to place our order we were informed that they had already run out of prime rib. This was the main reason we drove 20 minutes to come here . This is the reason most people come to Outback. Totally unacceptable to run out of prime rib so early. This was a Friday night and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet. I guess next time we should call ahead and ask. Update- we ended up ordering steak and lobster tails. Steak was tough, chewy and absolutely flavorless. Lobster was ok but obviously not fresh. Outback at least this one has lost its way. Will not be back anytime soon. Why does this restaurant not try to improve their health score. It remains in the 70's for longer than a year. Doesn't most managers care to have a re-score? So disappointing as we will not go past the door and the recent health score of 75 as of January. We are from Miami Florida and were regulars at the first Outback what came on scene in the 80's at the Fall's (Miami, FL) location. We moved to Canton in late 2019. We have tried this location over and over. Unfortunately, they can't seem to get the steaks even close to right. They are cut poorly meaning, may be a quarter inch at one end, three-quarter inch at the other end. Which makes for a inconsistent product. They are close to our home, and we usually go to Longhorn or RCB, but like anything sometimes you just want to change. This location by far is the worst outback restaurant I've ever been to. The last time we went we just gave up on the steaks and both my wife and I ordered salads With a cut of salmon as an ad instead of steak. The result was watery, runny salad that was orange in some places. Bar drinks are inconsistent as they are often out of one spirit or another. It's like you've got to have a plan ABCD because somebody doesn't know how to order properly.
